Hello Get Human, I am not in need of Microsoft tech support. My concern pertains to suspicious charges and refunds. I require assistance regarding unauthorized transactions totaling AED12,[redacted] (USD $[redacted]) over a period of two months, from December 11, [redacted], to February 10, [redacted], as indicated on my UAE Dubai bank statements consisting of 29 pages. These transactions were conducted using my visa debit card number which affected my savings account for purchases in USD from both the Microsoft store and Microsoft Xbox. It is important to note that I do not possess a Microsoft account or own an Xbox. I am discontent with this situation and thus formally lodge a complaint with Microsoft store. I am having trouble accessing my account. I noticed that the code can only be sent via text message to a cell phone, which I do not have. Since my email is currently down after a computer crash, I am unable to receive the code that way. I am 88 years old and do not use a cell phone. My mother-in-law is locked out of her computer, and I've exhausted all Microsoft options with no success. The main issues are: 1. Unable to access email for the authorization code. 2. Text authorization code can only be sent to a phone that doesn't receive texts. 3. Secondary email information didn't meet the account recovery criteria. I attempted to call the [redacted] number, but the automated voice directed me to use online support. A voice-enabled code for phone verification would have resolved this efficiently.

In "File Folder" and "This PC," I see my hard drive partition letters. C: - new SSD hard drive with a fresh copy of Windows 10 Home, which I boot from, appears to work. G: - I can't access this drive at all. I: - Properties show it's 60% full, but I can only access about 10%. The rest won't let me access it. When I copy a picture from a folder, I can paste it in an outgoing email. I can copy the picture to my hard drive pictures, but I receive an error message when trying to open it. However, if I boot to a different hard drive with Windows 10, it works. The error message reads: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I am running Windows 10 Home version 22H2. What can I do to access these drives?

I created an email account for my young son to send him emails when he reaches milestones. Unfortunately, I forgot the password and have tried to reset it. The process asks me various questions like name, surname, country of origin, and postcode. However, our postcode has changed since his birth, and I have tried both the old and new ones. Additionally, it asks about the subjects used when sending emails, but no emails have been sent from his account yet. I'm unsure how to proceed to access his email account.

My Windows Defender on the newly purchased Chrome laptop has disabled Windows with a warning about a possible infection. Although I understand how Defender works, I am confident I have not encountered an actual virus and need to restore operation. The warning advises against rebooting the equipment. I use Norton Anti-Virus and Lifelock for security, and recent scans show no viruses present. How can I reclaim operational status without causing additional problems if I reboot? I have confirmed my network with other computers, and none have encountered issues. My other two Windows computers did not face any problems when visiting the same site. I have removed the Chrome laptop from my network.

I have Office [redacted] installed on my MacBook Air, set to expire in [redacted]. After upgrading my MacBook Air, I decided not to continue with Office [redacted] and purchased the Microsoft Office package with a one-time payment. During the new Microsoft Office installation, I needed an Outlook/Hotmail address. Since my existing Hotmail address was linked to Office [redacted], I couldn't use it. I created a new Outlook account with the help of an Apple vendor to proceed with the installation. Unfortunately, after migrating data to the new laptop, Office [redacted] was reinstalled, and I forgot the password for the new Outlook account created. The account is now locked, and I cannot recover it as I haven't used it for emails or purchases. I need to regain access to the new Outlook account to utilize the Microsoft Office package. Calling Microsoft for help only leads to automated messages, which have not been useful in resolving my issue.
