On August 30th in the evening, I sent an email for my visa application, but I made a mistake with my password by entering it only once. Unfortunately, I forgot the password, and my email got locked. When I tried to provide the needed information, they asked for the password I can't remember using before. They also inquired about the email I allegedly sent, even though I didn't send any emails as I had just created the account 30 minutes prior. Microsoft responded saying there was missing information, but I'm confused because I never used the email to send anything. If I provide my name, birthdate, and the location where I created the account, could that help? Please note this issue is isolated to my email and not connected to other platforms.

My email got locked, and when I tried to recover it, they asked for a password I had only set once and didn't remember. They also asked about an email I supposedly sent, but it was too soon after creating the account for me to have sent any emails. Microsoft emailed me saying some information was missing, but I'm confused because they are asking for details I never provided. I'm willing to provide more information like the name, place of creation, and date of birth associated with the account. The email is currently empty as I haven't used it for sending any messages. It's frustrating that the provided details don't seem sufficient to regain access. This issue is specific to the email account and not linked to other platforms. I would appreciate a helpful response.

Hello, I am Rena from China. I used a company Teams account before being laid off. Now, I am trying to activate my personal Teams account on my devices. I have encountered some issues:
1. I can use the Teams app to initiate meetings, but I cannot join meetings invited by others through the app, only through the web.
2. When using Edge or Chrome browser to join meetings via a Hotmail invitation, sometimes it works in the web Teams and sometimes it redirects me to my previous company account, blocking me from joining.
3. On my mobile phone, after exiting the company Teams app and trying to log in with my Hotmail account, it repeatedly states that I have no Microsoft account.
I really need Teams for meetings and interviews during this time. Please assist me with this issue. Thank you. Best regards, Rena
