Hello, my name is Latonya Brent. I have not received any unemployment payments. I contacted Holiday Inn Express where I used to work, and they mentioned trying to reach me on April 23 but faced a disconnected line. They sent a letter to my old address, which I haven't received as I didn't update my information after being laid off. Mrs. Sandra Atkins informed me about the failed attempts to contact me. I learned about this on May 5 and since then have been trying to reach out to express my willingness to return to work. I am eager to comply with all requirements. Please reach me at [redacted]. I am trying to get my claim moving towards payment by speaking with a person. The issue is labeled as a "Non-Monetary Issue" which I agree with based on the Re-Determination Letter from 3/27. I have waited past the 10-day period and now six payments are overdue.
Efforts made to resolve: 1) Calls to the phone line since mid-March have been unreachable or I get disconnected if put on hold. Limited options for speaking with a person. 2) Chat function has been inaccessible since mid-March. 3) Seven online messages/submissions have not received a response. 4) Emails sent to local MI Works and C. Johnson at UIA did not get a response. 5) Two calls to the State Rep have resulted in no response despite them sending information twice. The only communication has been a video mentioning over [redacted],[redacted] people facing adjudication delays, assuring they are working on it.

I submitted a claim but haven't received any updates. I keep seeing the status as "non-monetary issue" without any further instructions on how to proceed. Despite attempting to call, I haven't been able to reach anyone for assistance. Initially, I certified my claims for the first two weeks, but now all four weeks remain uncertified. My claim dates back to March 29th, covering weeks ending on April 4, 11, 18, and 25. For the first two weeks, it shows "no payment issued," while the following two weeks require an additional claim. A notification about filing a PUA application appeared on my account. I completed and submitted the application but received an email stating it was rejected due to an existing claim. My situation involves claiming underemployment due to reduced pay, my workplace closure, and caring for my son at home because of the pandemic.

Good morning, I am reaching out on behalf of my father, who recently turned 73 and is not adept with computers. Due to the pandemic, he was laid off. Yesterday, he received a letter from your company in the mail. He is unsure whether he should include his social security benefit income in his biweekly certification. I am seeking guidance on what steps should be taken. If I provide you with his name and date of birth, could you address this issue on his behalf? My father was relying on someone else to assist him with his biweekly certification due to his lack of computer skills. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I urgently need assistance with retrieving my username and password to complete the filing process. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I applied for regular unemployment insurance (UI), but it was denied. Then, I applied for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) which got accepted. I was told to submit another PUA claim with my previously certified weeks. I have been without work since mid-March and need to know if I will receive my benefits or not. I have submitted all required documents. I filed for two weeks until May 25th, and it was processed but no payment was issued. I just certified another two weeks until June 8th, but still no payment. I have tried calling and emailing for help but haven't found a solution yet.

When my job closed because of COVID-19, I applied for unemployment benefits. I had trouble with the online system and accidentally entered incorrect earnings information for my first claim. I tried to report this error on the MARVIN line but couldn't get through and had difficulty using the website on my phone. I need help with my claims for the weeks of 4/04/[redacted], 4/11/20, and 4/18/[redacted]. Even though I wasn't working, my employer, Canal Street Brewing, sent me some funds that should have been reported. I've already submitted a protest on the website but I'm unsure of what will happen next. I'm hopeful that this issue can be corrected so I can receive the funds I'm entitled to. The system shows my weekly benefits and PUI, but no payment has been made for those 3 weeks yet. Thank you for any assistance in resolving these problems.

I submitted my unemployment claim over 5 weeks ago with a start date of March 13th. After receiving two letters, I found out I was approved for 39 weeks under the PUA, but there is an issue regarding my ability to work. The second letter states I indicated I was unable to work due to illness, injury, or restrictions, which is not the case. This has caused my claim to be flagged, leading to "Ineligible Week" statuses from March 14th to May 2nd. I have tried to rectify this error by contacting the unemployment office, but I have been stuck in a protest phase for a month now. Despite speaking to a representative, they were unable to provide a resolution, stating it was out of their control. I believe I may have mistakenly selected the wrong option during my initial claim submission. I am particularly affected by this situation as my children's schools are closed due to the pandemic, making it difficult for me to actively job hunt. I am seeking advice on how to expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your assistance.

I'm currently about four weeks behind since it transitioned online. I used to call MARVIN weekly and had a phone appointment on March 20th for an hour interview, but a month ago, my son was diagnosed with cancer, which has turned my life upside down. I urgently need my income. Due to the lack of income, I had to move out of my place, making it difficult to handle my unemployment paperwork while being at my son's chemotherapy sessions every week. I recently resolved an issue with my Gmail stopping on March 6th by paying $2.00 for additional storage. I can receive messages now, but I discovered I'm locked out of my account. I'm worried about losing crucial information if I create a new account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted a claim on March 25th, which was initially denied, but I contested the decision. I recently received a redetermination letter on April 30th indicating I qualify for a weekly benefit of $[redacted]. I am unsure whether I need to submit a new claim to start receiving these benefits or if they will automatically begin. I am currently unable to complete the certification process as required every two weeks, which is why I haven't received any funds yet.
I had been receiving PUA benefits prior to the redetermination, but now that my claim has been reevaluated, I am no longer eligible for PUA. However, the PUA claim is still showing on my account with a stop payment indicator. It appears there has been a delay in updating my account, which could be why I haven't received my approved benefits.

I am having trouble receiving payment for my second set of three certifications. The system states that an additional claim is required. Initially, I discovered that despite my reduced hours, I had worked too many hours to qualify for payment for my first certification. I have submitted additional claims since then. While I was paid for the following two claims, my seventh certification indicates a non-monetary issue. I suspect this is due to using PTO to take my 87-year-old mother to a medical appointment, resulting in leaving work early by 3 hours. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at the unemployment office via phone, agent contact, or email. I have even reached out to our state representative for assistance. My claim number is C[redacted]-0, and the pending additional claim number is 1-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. My Social Security's last 4 digits are [redacted], and my date of birth is 4/8/[redacted]. I am a healthcare worker at Bronson Hospital with reduced hours because of Covid-19.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inquire about my continuation of unemployment benefits under Executive Order [redacted]-21 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been living with my 92-year-old grandmother who has comorbidities for a decade. Due to her health conditions and age, she is at high risk for COVID-19. As I work directly with the public and cannot work remotely, I have been laid off since the order was implemented. With the reopening of the economy, I am concerned about the potential risk my job and living situation pose to my grandmother's health.
I am considering finding separate housing to reduce her exposure risk and need to establish a support system for her daily activities. Given the uncertainty surrounding the state of public health and my own health condition, I am wondering if I can continue to receive Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation until the Cares Act expires. This would allow me to secure new living arrangements and support for my grandmother before returning to work.
Thank you for your attention to this matter during these challenging times.
Regards,
Charles Edward Laymond

My name is Robert P. My phone number is [redacted], and my Unemployment Claim number is C[redacted]-0. I have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for a long time. Due to being immunocompromised and at high risk for COVID-19 complications, I have been off work since March 30th. I work for Republic Services or Allied Waste Services in Michigan. Despite the MI CARES Act, my employer has been disputing my unemployment benefits. I have sought legal help from a Michigan Employment Attorney as my income has been zero since March. My family of four relies solely on my income, and we are now struggling to pay rent and utilities. We are in desperate need of help with my unemployment claim. I have submitted appeals and provided documentation as required, but with no success. I appreciate any assistance. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

When attempting to submit a PUA application for unemployment benefits, my job history for the last three positions I held was automatically displayed without an option for the PUA application. I was terminated from one job, another was through a temp service that became permanent, and I left the most recent job due to medical reasons related to mental health. I have been grappling with ADD, bipolar 2 disorder, and generalized anxiety for an extended period. At the time I resigned, I was also navigating challenging family circumstances, which, combined with other stress factors, became overwhelming, leading me to relocate. While I provided all necessary documentation during the fact-finding process, I only managed to capture and upload an evaluation from my psychologist. Despite being capable of working, managing a job along with other life challenges often leaves me drained and overwhelmed, compelling me to prioritize my well-being above all else.

I'm Evelyn B. I initially applied for unemployment in February [redacted]. Due to family medical issues, I missed certification and was locked out of my MiWam account. After countless attempts, a rep finally unlocked my account, but my application had expired. I reapplied, certified, but haven't received any payments in over 4 months. Even after contacting them multiple times, I haven't heard back. I explained the issue in a questionnaire about my availability, but still no response. I've emailed through MiWam, sent letters, and called numerous times with no luck. I understand their workload, but I need help. Who can I reach out to for assistance?

I need help with my unemployment claim. My claim number is C[redacted]-0 under the name of Lindsay S. My account was flagged as suspicious, and extra verification is needed. Despite sending photos of my license and social security card, I have not received instructions on how to resolve this issue after a week. Payments have been stopped, and I haven't received any communication on verifying my ID or receiving payment. When I tried to log in today, the system showed an error message that it was too busy. I find it puzzling that my account was flagged as suspicious even though I have received payments in the past without any problems. I am seeking a resolution to this matter so that my account is no longer flagged suspicious, I receive payment for the two latest weeks, and there are no more issues with my claims in the future.

As a self-employed worker, I applied for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and have been receiving bi-weekly payments since March 10th. Despite updating my address on my MIWAM account where I was supposed to receive a debit card, it has not arrived yet. Unfortunately, contacting customer service has been challenging, and Bank of America's automated response system has not been helpful. When trying to replace the card, the address linked to my account is incorrect, and I cannot modify it. I am concerned that someone might have received my card and used the funds. I urgently need assistance as I am at risk of losing my home. Additionally, I am exploring the option of having the payments directed to a bank account in my son's name that he no longer uses to ensure I receive the payments without issues.

Hello, I am currently experiencing difficulties with my unemployment claim. I received a letter confirming my claim was accepted, but I have not received any payments yet. Despite various submissions, the payment has not been processed as promised. I have been trying to contact the unemployment office numerous times without success. I have tried several methods suggested online to reach them to no avail. The phone lines seem busier than ever, likely due to high call volumes. I have even reached out to my state senator and filed complaints online, but have not received a response. I am seeking advice on how to navigate this situation effectively. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.

My employment start date was scheduled for March 1st. However, I only began working two weeks ago. Some individuals have obtained over $10,[redacted] in benefits, despite not deserving them. Certain individuals have never worked, using the excuse that it affected their job search. I have only received around $[redacted], and I am waiting for approximately $8,[redacted] in back pay. I am desperate for assistance as I am on the verge of losing my job, and I have already lost multiple jobs. I have exhausted all possible means to obtain this money and am pleading for help.

I accessed my Miwam account two days ago and it showed my last payment date was June 13. I checked on June 14 and didn't see any money, assuming it might be delayed due to the weekend, I thought it would be there by the morning of the 15th. I tried calling but kept getting disconnected. Upon logging back into Miwam, it now shows no payment issued, although it still deducts weeks from my total. Marvin states my last payment as June 13, while the Miwam toolbox shows June 6 as my last payment, but I haven't received any funds. The status changes from pending to no payment issued every few days. I've been struggling with claim issues since applying on May 5. I urgently need assistance as I have three young children and essential bills to cover. Your help is greatly appreciated. 😞😞😞
