I opted to pay more than the retail price due to her commitment to ship it promptly with a guaranteed delivery on that day, unlike other retailers. Unfortunately, the tracking information reveals that the item was not sent with the promised arrival date, resulting in its delivery after my departure. Consequently, I will incur additional expenses for an alternative solution and will not be present when the package arrives.

I made a purchase of an RTX [redacted] Ti on Mercari on 4/29/22. I tried to contact the seller right after placing the order, but I ran into an issue with verifying my phone number. Despite already being logged in, the system rejected my phone number, leading to a frustrating back-and-forth with customer support. After days of trying to resolve the problem, Mercari notified me that the seller was reminded to ship the package. Subsequently, I received a notification that the package had been sent to the carrier, with a tracking number provided. Oddly enough, the USPS tracking information indicated that the package had already been delivered before the carrier was said to have picked it up, raising suspicions about the legitimacy of the tracking number provided. I am perplexed by how this tracking number was obtained and have outlined potential scenarios. Given the discrepancies and red flags with the shipping details, I am seeking a refund promptly as I urgently require a video card and cannot afford another purchase without being reimbursed. I am perplexed by the approval of the buyer's return request, as I possess photographic evidence showing the item's condition when it was shipped, which matches the listing precisely. I am dismayed by the rapid "final decision" made after my response submission, without the chance to present my evidence or have it reviewed properly. I am uncertain how a "thorough investigation" could have been carried out without my evidence being considered. I wish to dispute this decision and have a real person review my case to uphold my rights as a seller. Mercari's seller protection seems inadequate since the item the buyer displays is not the one I shipped, and it is unjust that a damaged item might be returned to me when I sent a nearly new item. I am unable to find a way to escalate this matter on the website, feeling exploited and left with an unsellable item despite having proof of its excellent condition when shipped.

I accidentally used auto-fill on my W-9 form, but as soon as I noticed the error, I corrected it. I provided Mercari with pictures of my license front and back. Additionally, because I used my fiancé’s account to receive payments a few times over a year ago, they requested his ID, a scan of his face, which required me to visit him to obtain the necessary information. It is frustrating that the company can restrict account access without releasing funds, as I recently received an email stating my ID was approved but my account remains limited. This has caused me a lot of stress, especially since I rely on the funds to buy my son's birthday gift. Most of my earnings have been used for purchases on the app, so it’s concerning that my money is being withheld. I've been trying to get clarification with no response, and I am considering reaching out to the company directly for resolution as I find it unfair to have my funds held without a clear explanation.

I purchased a Pandora Blue Daisy charm and paid with PayPal on May 9th. I have received three messages asking me to rate the charm, but as of today, May 16th, [redacted], I have not received it. When attempting to contact you or respond to emails, I encounter an "Unregistered User" message, even though I have made over 35 purchases from you in the last 3 to 4 months. I would like to receive my charm or understand what has happened to it. Additionally, I kindly request my account to be corrected to avoid any further issues with my Mercari account. I recently discovered the option for combined shipping on Mercari. I fulfilled a customer's request to combine multiple items in one shipment, but they have not yet left feedback. Despite the combined package reaching their address, the items are still listed as "in progress." I've reached out to ask for feedback on one item, which they provided, but Mercari will not allow further communication on the other listings until feedback is given. I shipped all items in a single package, incurring higher shipping costs than if I had shipped them individually. The weights of the items reflect this combined shipment. I am hopeful Mercari will assist, considering my track record of successful sales and positive feedback. I have not yet received payment for these items due to the lack of feedback, even though the customer received everything they ordered, with additional gifts included. I am unhappy with a recent purchase I made that was misrepresented. I bought a bundle that included two pairs of boys size 7 shorts and a t-shirt. One pair of shorts had a completely stretched out and broken elastic waist, which was not mentioned in the listing. The other shorts were not as cute in print as the damaged ones, but they were less faded. Additionally, the included t-shirt had a hole in it. I would like to return the damaged shorts and the t-shirt, and keep the one pair of shorts that are in better condition. However, I believe I should receive a partial refund as I only find the remaining shorts worth $10 due to their faded stripes, which are not as appealing as the damaged cute anchor print shorts.

I purchased Clairol Natural Instincts Shine Happy Clear Shine Treatment from seller Heather Lynn on Mercari. The item arrived with the box opened and the product spilled out. When trying to raise a complaint, Mercari's verifiers confirmed it was a stolen product and could not assist further. I am displeased with this situation. I demand a refund and for Heather Lynn to be removed from the website for selling stolen goods. Despite reaching out about the severely damaged product, I was told I couldn't do anything after leaving a rating, which I hadn't done yet. This feels like fraud. I expect Mercari to handle complaints properly, especially when their report confirms it was stolen. The seller, Heather Lynn, is still active on Mercari, and this issue needs to be addressed. Mercari's lack of action is concerning.

I received a 27' solar light strand instead of the 48' one I ordered. The incorrect item was delivered on 5/31 by Fed Ex, and Mercari mistakenly marked it as delivered on 5/27, impacting my ability to address the issue. Despite contacting the seller and requesting a CS manager, I was denied any resolution. I believe it is unfair that I am unable to receive the correct item or a refund. I simply want what I paid for and feel frustrated by the seller's error. I have even been blocked from further communication or purchases with them. Please help me resolve this matter as I cannot afford to reorder and feel I overpaid for an item I could have bought more affordably elsewhere.

I have encountered two ongoing problems with Mercari, and despite my efforts to resolve them, I have not received a satisfactory outcome. The most recent issue involves a scale I purchased to avoid overpaying for shipping due to overweight packages. Mercari claimed that a package I sent was overweight, leading to an overcharge on my end. I provided proof that the package was not overweight by submitting the receipt from USPS, yet Mercari has refused to issue a refund, even after I sent the receipt twice. The second issue dates back to an undelivered sweatshirt I bought which was marked as delivered in the tracking information. Despite following Mercari's instructions to wait and then contact them, they proceeded to leave an automated 5-star review for the seller, released my funds to them, and did not assist me further. I am now at a loss for both the purchase price and the shipping costs. I have ceased all sales on Mercari and refrain from making any purchases until I receive the reimbursement I am owed.

My package was supposed to be delivered to Elizabeth, LA, but the tracking shows it's in Washington, DC. I spent 2 hours at the post office, and two supervisors confirmed the discrepancy only appears in the app. It's frustrating as my valuable items are being held due to this tracking error. I hope to resolve this soon as it seems like there may be inaccuracies in the system which could escalate into a legal matter. I am worried about potential scams on Mercari as I have had bad experiences before. Despite selling items, buyers have scammed me by claiming items were not as described and gotten refunds, returning different items. This is a common issue for sellers, not just me. This time it's more concerning as the baseball cards I just sold are worth $[redacted]. Before shipping, I want to know if there are any precautions I can take to avoid being scammed. I feel that Mercari should enhance buyer protection measures. It seems that whenever a buyer disputes an item, Mercari automatically supports them without investigating thoroughly.

I unintentionally ended up with 2 Mercari accounts: one created with a username and password, and another when I logged in with my Apple ID. All my activity is linked to the Apple ID account, but I can't verify my phone number since it's registered to the other account. When attempting verification, I receive a message stating the number is already registered. Logging into the original account shows none of my activity like purchases or likes. I'm unsure whether to keep the Apple ID linked account or delete it. I couldn't locate the option to delete an account. How can I fix this situation?

I received a shipment yesterday containing 5 cups and saucers (10 sets in total). Unfortunately, the box was damaged upon delivery, despite being marked as fragile. Out of the 10 items, 5 (50%) were damaged in transit. The packaging included some bubble wrap, which seemed to have been repurposed from previous shipments, and most items were wrapped in paper. The box itself was not very sturdy. I contacted the seller about the issue, and their response was unsatisfactory, stating that they had packed the items carefully but suspect they were damaged during shipping. I find this explanation unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund for the damaged items.

My debit card number was compromised, and a company called Mercari made an unauthorized charge on my account. I am unfamiliar with this company and have not used my card since a purchase on the 13th at a local restaurant. I have never made any purchases with Mercari. As a widow living on disability, every penny counts for me. I should have had $1.55 left after my last transaction on the 17th. I diligently monitor my account and have informed the bank to stop any further charges. It's distressing that someone would target and exploit someone like me. I am resolute in seeking justice for this fraudulent activity.

I received a notification that an item was delivered on 6/17/22 at 12:30, but it was not received. I reached out to both the seller and Mercari through the app. I have security cameras at my residence, and nothing was delivered as shown in the notification. Mercari's customer service mentioned they would investigate, but after 3 days, there was no response from the seller despite multiple messages. I waited, thinking it might be delayed, but the $[redacted] DJI action 2 camera never arrived. Today, no action was taken, and the money was withdrawn from my account without resolution. I am frustrated and seek an explanation for the lack of action and the deduction from my account for an undelivered item.

My account was restricted, and then I received an email instructing me to change my password. After I complied, they claimed I had opened two accounts and closed mine. I only have one account and find their security procedures perplexing. I made a purchase and now I'm concerned about my money being held. If an account is limited, they shouldn't allow purchases to be made without releasing the funds. This situation is distressing for me, and the time zone difference makes it difficult to contact support. I attempted to reach out last night and again this morning. I want the perfume I ordered, but if this is standard business practice, I may reconsider keeping an account. This experience has been bizarre and unsettling, leaving me unsure about continuing to use this app.

I recently had a sale for my Tory Burch purse, originally priced at $[redacted], but sold for $54. Unfortunately, the buyer canceled the order while the purse was on its way to her.
