I've encountered an issue twice where my listings were removed right after posting, and Mercari accused me of trying to complete transactions outside of their platform. I have never engaged in any underhanded dealings or attempted to bypass Mercari. Recently, I listed 25 necklaces, only to receive a notification from Mercari stating it was my second warning. This happened about a month ago too, and I initially thought it was a mistake. Tonight, the same scenario occurred after I posted the necklace listing. I wasn't even able to review the listing for accuracy before it vanished. I'm puzzled as to where this misinformation is coming from. If there are emails showing me discussing these necklaces with someone, I would appreciate seeing them because it was not me.

I recently purchased an iPod 6th generation from a seller who claimed it was brand new with 32GB of storage. However, upon receiving the device, I noticed multiple scratches on both the screen and the back. When I contacted the seller, she denied the scratches and insisted it was brand new. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and rated her anyway. Later on, upon inspecting the iPod further, I discovered that it actually only had 16GB of storage, not the 32GB as listed. The seller claimed she was unaware of this discrepancy. I understand that I may not be eligible for a refund after leaving a rating, but the support page mentioned that exceptions could be made on a case-by-case basis. Can I possibly return the item and receive a refund since it was not accurately described as advertised?

I purchased the Vapor Max Coral in size 7. I had clarified with the seller that it was a women's size 7, and she confirmed. She also assured me the shoes would come in the correct box. However, upon delivery, I received a men's size 7, which is way too big. The box was damaged and not the original one for these shoes. I am extremely frustrated and request a full refund. I do not want store credit on this platform. I am very disappointed and just want my money back. Thank you.

Recently, a seller on Mercari raised the price by $30 after canceling my order. I inquired about the shipment, and they claimed they found the item later in their dresser. Despite my frustration, they reassured me, but I discovered the price increase. The seller eventually canceled my order, prompting Mercari to refund me $54.25. Feeling deceived, I expressed my concerns to the seller, and they responded rudely, calling me a derogatory term. I intend to report their behavior and leave a negative review. The seller's unprofessionalism is evident, and I plan to take appropriate action.

I attempted to purchase a Maclaren Twin stroller on Mercari from the user "wally27". After negotiating the price, the seller confirmed the purchase and shipped the item. However, the seller canceled the order within a day citing issues with the barcode. Subsequently, the seller blocked my account preventing me from communicating or making further purchases. Despite this, the stroller remained available for sale, prompting me to use my husband's account to repurchase at full price. Unfortunately, the seller swiftly canceled the second order and blocked my husband's account too. I am currently in communication with Mercari about this situation and considering requesting the cancellation of the "wally27" account for non-compliance with the website policies.

I placed an order on June 11, [redacted], and it was shipped the next day. However, it has been about a week since the item was dispatched, and I just received a message from the seller stating that it is being returned to them. I have already discussed the return with them due to the delay in delivery. I would appreciate the chance to request a refund as the item is still in the possession of the seller and has not been sent out. Thank you for your attention, and I am awaiting your reply.

I recently sold a pair of shoes for $[redacted] on Mercari under the username cdl10. I am an honest seller with over [redacted] positive feedback on Ebay. I have successfully purchased three expensive items on Mercari in my short time with the platform. I have also requested two returns on items that were not authentic with no issues. However, my first sale last week went awry when the buyer, who I suspect is a scammer, requested a return and then blocked me, preventing communication. Today, I received an empty envelope in the mail, indicating the shoes were not returned properly. I feel scammed out of $[redacted] and this is unacceptable. I have tried calling the 1-[redacted] number multiple times with no success. Can anyone provide assistance?

I recently sold a Funko Pop on Mercari for about $[redacted]. It was meticulously packaged in a pop protector and was in excellent condition. After the buyer claimed there was damage and requested a return, I received the item back in much worse shape. The protector was damaged and the Pop box showed signs of rough handling. Despite providing evidence of its condition before and after, Mercari's customer service dismissed my claim. I am frustrated that the buyer potentially mishandled the item and accused me of the damage, leading to an unfair resolution where I am left without compensation for the damaged item. The situation has left me feeling disappointed and seeking recourse for this unjust outcome.

I received my order today, but unfortunately, it is not authentic. I would like a full refund. I had already left a quick review for the seller, as the delivery was prompt and I was assured it was genuine. However, upon inspection by my sister, it was confirmed to be fake. In the past, I had a positive experience purchasing a bag on Mercari. I have tried reaching out to the seller but haven't received a response. The item has been removed from their page and isn't even showing as sold. I'm not in a position to waste $[redacted] and it has made me hesitant to make further purchases on the platform.

I bought a Stokke Xplory 3 in 1 stroller on Mercari, but it's not as described. The listing said it was new, but it's actually used. It's also missing the cup holder and footrest that should have come with it when new. I contacted the seller, and she agreed to buy the missing items, but the stroller is still not new. She offered a $[redacted] credit, but wants a good rating before giving the refund. I checked Mercari's buyer protection, which states that all sales are final. I found the return instructions unclear regarding your policy. I received counterfeit shoes with order # m[redacted]6. When I reached out to the seller, they accused me of misreading the description. The shoes were supposed to be adidas Yeezys [redacted] V2’s Sesame, but they are not authentic. As a quadriplegic, finding shoes for my swollen feet is essential. I do not buy shoes for resale purposes nor would I deceive a buyer by selling fake items. I was deeply disappointed and saddened by this experience. My main goal is to have comfortable shoes as I continue to work on walking. These shoes do not meet those needs. Can you assist me with this issue?

The heels I received from the seller were not as described or shown in the listing. They are severely worn and do not match the images provided. I need these for work and the condition is unacceptable. I unintentionally rated the seller and should not be held accountable for keeping these unsatisfactory shoes. Please provide a refund for this purchase. Thank you.

Hello, Mercari. I am curious why there isn't an option to appeal a bad rating if it's unjust. Despite understanding that ratings reflect buyers' experiences, I've maintained a perfect 5-star rating since joining the app. However, receiving a 3-star rating with a rude comment I wasn't even informed about is concerning. The buyer claimed I used tissue paper when I actually used thick, durable packaging material similar to a padded envelope. I dropped the item off in a post box since I lack a car and was off work, afraid to leave it in my mailbox due to its location on a busy road. Since the buyer didn't express any issues or urgency, I didn't know there was a problem. While I value good ratings, it's frustrating not being able to challenge an unjust and inaccurate review.

While I had been saving up to purchase a ring from a Mercari seller known as AJ and Tim, I inadvertently shared my email address and phone number, which violated the platform's policies. Unfortunately, Mercari has enforced the rules by having the seller delete the ring listing and preventing me from communicating with them directly. I had saved up $[redacted] to buy the ring and now everything has been altered abruptly. It took me a considerable amount of time to save that money. My intention was solely to inquire privately about whether they would cover the cost of sizing. I was unaware this would be considered a breach of conduct. This turn of events feels very unjust, especially since I have been a frequent buyer on Mercari.

I purchased an Apple Watch from a seller on your website, but I've been unable to make it work because the previous owner did not deactivate it properly from her phone. After reaching out to her and following instructions from AT&T and Apple, I had to send the watch back to her, incurring shipping costs twice. She asked me to buy something from her online store to cover the shipping label. Now that I have the watch back, it is still locked to her phone, and I cannot use it as intended. Apple mentioned that it needs to be near her iPhone for the issue to be resolved. I feel frustrated as I have spent money and time trying to sort this out. The seller seems uncooperative, and it's disappointing. I may involve PayPal in this matter.

Hello, I am writing regarding a frustrating experience I have had with a recent purchase on Mercari. On 6/14/[redacted], I bought 2 Burberry polos for $91.25. After checking the tracking information on 6/16/[redacted], I was informed that the items had been shipped but without an arrival date specified. I contacted Mercari's customer service, who advised me to reach out to the seller, but unfortunately, they had no information either. Following multiple back-and-forth exchanges with both customer service and the seller, the tracking information was finally updated on 6/22/[redacted], indicating a delivery date of 6/24/[redacted]. However, the items did not arrive on that day. Despite receiving an email stating the items were delivered to my mailbox, they were nowhere to be found. After reaching out to USPS and opening an investigation, I was given case number #CA[redacted]10. Despite being promised assistance from customer service by 6/27/[redacted], my subsequent attempts to contact them have been met with no response. I bought a cell phone for $[redacted], but I have not received it yet. The seller is not responding to my messages. The order appears to be placed, but the tracking number provided does not show any shipment. I have contacted the seller multiple times without a response. I simply want a refund if the phone cannot be delivered. I need my $[redacted] back to look for another phone. I cannot afford to lose this money. Kindly update me on the refund process. I received a different item than what I ordered. I purchased a 1 million men's cologne, but instead, I received shower gel. I have evidence from the original item listing that confirms the discrepancy. The confirmation I received described shower gel, which was not what I expected when I made the purchase. I received my order today, but it's not what I expected. I purchased 1 Million Men's Cologne, but instead, I got shower gel. The advertisement was misleading, as nowhere did it mention shower gel. I paid $20 for a 3.4 fluid ounce bottle of shower gel, which I wouldn't have bought if it was labeled correctly. The confirmation stated it was delivered, and to my surprise, it was shower gel, not cologne as I expected. I have the ad copies with me for reference. I purchased what I believed to be authentic shoes, but upon receiving them, I discovered multiple flaws indicating they are counterfeit. Despite the seller's assurance of authenticity in the listing and messages, the item is clearly fake. I have contacted the seller about returning the item, but I have not received a response yet. I provided evidence of our communication where she confirmed the authenticity of the shoes. I want to return the item and get a refund promptly.
