I wanted to share my experience at the McDonald’s on Hwy [redacted] in Ocala, Florida. I work nearby at Waffle House, and my colleagues and I were looking forward to enjoying some Frappes. After collecting everyone's money, I headed to the drive-thru to place an order. Unfortunately, when I reached the speaker to order 2 medium caramel Frappes, I was informed that the machine was down for cleaning and they couldn't serve any frozen drinks. This was not the first time this issue has occurred, and as someone familiar with McDonald’s operations from my previous job there, I know it doesn't take long to clean the machine. It's frustrating to encounter this situation repeatedly, and I hope the store can address this problem to avoid disappointing customers in the future.

On February 5th, [redacted], at the McDonald's located at [redacted] State Street in Marysville, Washington, my wife and I visited for breakfast around 9:45 am. After placing our order with the manager and receiving our food, we were informed that there was no fruit for the oatmeal we ordered, prompting us to request a refund. As I addressed the missing items from our order, the manager returned with our refund but became defensive about the situation. Despite having communicated my request for extra butter and syrup during the initial order, the manager accused me of lying and was unprofessional in her tone. An altercation ensued when another customer interjected aggressively, leading to the manager threatening to involve the police if we did not leave. This experience left me feeling mistreated as a consumer, and I am considering seeking legal advice regarding this incident and contacting consumer rights agencies.

Hello, my name is Thomas. I purchased food from McDonald's on January 30, [redacted]. The next day, I was hospitalized with severe virus infections and remained in the hospital for 6 days. I believe I should receive complimentary meals as the illness was linked to the food from McDonald's in Pekin, IL. I am requesting free meals for the rest of the year, providing 2 free meals per month due to the virus infections caused by the food. I am incredibly upset about this situation. Thank you.

I, Q. Jackson, placed a mobile order for curbside pickup at the McDonald's located at [redacted] Tavilla Cir, Naples, FL [redacted], United States on February 16, [redacted], at 8:25 PM. Despite waiting for over an hour, when I inquired inside about my order, they requested a code which I did not receive. I explained that my name was associated with the order and provided proof of the transaction from my account. The manager reviewed it, went to the back, and I waited an additional 30 minutes for my food. Upon returning to the counter, they once again asked for a code. Despite my request, the manager's name was not provided, and I never received my order or a refund as no one wore a name tag. I believe additional training for your employees in handling such situations is necessary, as time and money are valuable. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter, including a refund and accommodating my meal. Thank you.

I had a terrible experience at the drive-thru while ordering, paying, and picking up my order. The so-called manager refused to give me their name or the names of their staff. The employees were rude when taking my order through the microphone, displaying poor attitudes. They urgently need training on customer service or should be replaced. I cannot identify their faces, but I can recognize their behaviors. As a manager and owner of four large restaurants in Ohio, this behavior is completely unacceptable. Customers should be treated properly, especially when supporting the business. The incident was very distressing, especially early in the morning. My ticket number is [redacted], dated 2/19/[redacted] at 9:16 a.m. This happened at McDonald's Restaurant #[redacted] located at [redacted] Lorain Ave., Cleveland, Ohio [redacted].

My wife and I recently had lunch at the Burlington McDonald's. Unfortunately, one of our chicken sandwiches was so tough it was inedible. While I didn't bring it up at the time due to the busy staff, I want to express my dissatisfaction with this experience and likely won't be returning to McDonald's again. It seems there may be an ongoing issue with the texture of the chicken, as other restaurants I've been to don't seem to have the same problem. Thank you - William Maginnis

I am Richard R. from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I enjoy milkshakes and ice cream cones on warm days. Today, March 7, [redacted], I visited three McDonald's locations, and each one informed me that the milkshake machine was out of order. After several failed attempts, I gave up. This recurring issue of dysfunctional machines at McDonald's in the area has left me feeling frustrated. I believe that customers should be compensated with a "rain check" coupon when they cannot order items from the menu due to equipment issues.

This morning, I visited a Bradenton location using my mobile app to place an order and paid through the app. However, my bank account still shows the payment as pending since 10:00 a.m., and it's now 5:00 p.m. I would like the payment to process promptly. It's puzzling that payments can be declined quickly but not accepted promptly. McDonald's should improve their payment processing speed to prevent account issues. Kindly resolve this matter swiftly. Moving forward, payments should be accepted immediately to avoid such delays. Thank you for your assistance.

As a first-time user of the kiosk at a Rochelle, Illinois restaurant, I encountered a small issue with my ice cream order. After confirming the order and attempting to pay with cash, there was confusion regarding the next steps on the screen. The manager/owner, ROSA, was incredibly helpful and patient. She reentered my order, guided me through the payment process, and even took the time to show me and my companion (both in our mid-70s) how to use the kiosk properly. ROSA was understanding and suggested an improvement to have clearer instructions at that point in the ordering process. She mentioned she would raise this concern with the relevant department. I appreciated her kindness and assistance, despite feeling a bit flustered. Please pass along my compliments to ROSA for her exemplary customer service. Also, a small note for McDonald's, I miss your grilled chicken sandwiches. Warm regards, Paula J.

I placed a mobile order, but I was told they don't accept them despite others receiving theirs via Curbside. The person I spoke to claimed to be the manager without providing a name. I explained a similar issue previously and received a refund, but the current manager mentioned the system was down and abruptly ended the call. As a college student, I'm now without both money and food. Multiple attempts to contact the location resulted in them answering and hanging up; I overheard an employee say "block her." This occurred at the Fort Worth Drive location in Denton, Texas.

This morning, my husband and I visited the Milford DE location #[redacted] for breakfast. The manager on duty was Shawn. I observed a young lady named Mackala with special needs working there. Unfortunately, I witnessed Manager Shawn speaking to her in a very disrespectful manner. Having experience working with individuals with special needs myself, I was shocked by the way she was treated. Manager Shawn assigned her various tasks, including sweeping and taking food outside without a safety vest, putting her at risk near moving vehicles. Throughout the ordeal, Manager Shawn repeatedly called out Makala's name, causing her visible confusion and stress. It was clear that the manager's behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional towards her in front of customers. I have already reported this incident to the proper authorities as a court mandated advocate. I urge the company to address this issue with the manager and consider providing training on proper employee treatment to avoid a situation like this in the future. Thank you.

On March 15th, I placed an order totaling $15.17 through the McDonald's app. After picking up my order, it was charged to my Visa and appeared on my bank account on March 17th. Even though I have already received and paid for this order, the app seems to think I still have an open order from the 15th, preventing me from placing a new one. The app suggests I pay for the previous order in cash at the drive-thru, which is not accurate. I am unsure how to resolve this issue within the app without losing the [redacted] points I have accumulated. For now, I will be dining at Wendy's until this matter is corrected.

I had a disturbing encounter at the Cedar Springs location involving the manager on duty. She verbally attacked me aggressively, using profanity and insulting language. She even attempted to physically approach me, but her coworkers intervened. The whole incident occurred in the presence of other customers, including children. The altercation started because I waited over 10 minutes in the drive-thru, then politely asked for my order inside. I did not provoke her, but she reacted irrationally. I feel the need to involve legal representation due to the embarrassment I faced. This behavior is unacceptable, and I believe she should not be employed in any customer-facing role. Despite being a loyal app user, I will no longer support this establishment if such conduct is tolerated. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

There was another mistake with my order at Tampa General Hospital McDonald's. I asked for a Bacon Ranch Crispy Deluxe sandwich with cheese but received it without lettuce and tomato. I requested chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, but I got sweet and sour instead. I ordered unsweet tea, but my receipt showed sweet tea. It was challenging to correct my order as the night shift leader, Mae, was rude and dismissive. Mae even walked away while I was still placing my order, which was incredibly disrespectful. When I inquired about swapping ketchup for sweet and sour sauce, I was met with more rude behavior. It's crucial to emphasize good customer service with employees, particularly management, as customers are the lifeblood of any business. Unfortunately, at the hospital, there are limited dining options, making it difficult to avoid such treatment. Additionally, charging extra for a "deluxe" item that isn't made correctly feels like a rip-off.

I am frustrated with the situation of waiting in line behind 6 or more cars at your drive-thru only to discover that there are no soda or Frapp options available. It is inconvenient to be stuck in a line that I cannot exit until all the cars ahead of me have ordered and received their food. I was informed that a sign cannot be placed before the order station, which I find nonsensical as this issue affects not just me but many others. This has been a recurring problem at multiple locations I have visited. Many customers, like myself, become irritated and restless while trying to exit the line due to this lack of information provided earlier on. The sign displayed at the order station is insufficient as by the time we see it, we are already in a position where we cannot easily leave.

I found false eyelashes in my box of chicken nuggets! I contacted the store to report it, and they only offered to replace the meal. I was hoping for some form of compensation for the inconvenience and disgust I experienced. Unfortunately, they only suggested replacing the paid meal. I felt let down by their response as I was left feeling both inconvenienced and hungry. I couldn't return immediately to exchange the food, so I ended up not eating at all.

I was in the second drive-thru on the far side and waited through seven other cars before I approached the window. Despite honking and revving my loud truck, nobody attended to me. Upon reaching the window, I was informed that they had closed at 11:07, much earlier than their usual 3:30 am closing time. This abrupt closure was unsettling as we had waited patiently while others were served. It would be fair to receive a meal for two as compensation, considering my wife and I were in the vehicle ready to order. This incident is not isolated, as I have experienced long waits before without any acknowledgment. They mentioned the early closure was due to a lack of third-shift workers, but this change was not communicated beforehand.

On Thursday evening, I visited the McDonald's on Central Ave and Frederick Ave in Colonie, NY, at 8:00 PM to purchase a chicken little sandwich. When I arrived at the payment window, I handed the young man a $20 bill. Instead of giving me the correct change, he only returned $16, claiming they had no change. I offered to provide the 22 cents needed or receive my remaining $1, but he insisted on consulting the manager. Upon the manager's grudging intervention, they opened the register. The store's cleanliness was lacking, and the staff seemed inexperienced and preoccupied with cell phones. I am baffled by how these extra funds were being managed and demand accountability from this location. Sincerely, Virginia L.

I went to KFC on the corner of Frederick Ave and Central Ave in Colonie, NY on Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 PM. I ordered a chicken little sandwich. When I handed the cashier a $20 bill, he only gave me $16 claiming he couldn't provide change. I questioned the amount, and he mentioned needing 22 cents. Feeling uneasy, I asked for my full change. He called the manager who seemed annoyed but eventually gave me the remaining dollar. I wonder why they accumulate excess money in the register and how it's managed. I suspect a possible scam. I seek clarity on how this issue will be addressed. - Virginia L. at 40 Dott Ave, Colonie, NY.

I placed an order at the store, emphasizing multiple times that I needed unsweetened tea due to being diabetic. Unfortunately, the drink I received was loaded with sugar. When I tried to return for a replacement, I found the drive-thru unresponsive and the door locked. Despite contacting the number on the window, the person who answered, although the manager was on vacation, was unhelpful and even seemed to blame me for arriving early. This experience left me feeling unheard and at risk due to the high sugar content in the drink. As a diabetic, getting the right order is crucial for my health, so I urge the staff to be more attentive to customers' requests. It's essential to understand the reasons behind specific orders, especially when it comes to health considerations.
