I noticed a charge of $39.99 from match.com on my account, despite not being a user of the service. I do not have an account or use the app for your platform. Last night, on 11/15/23, I was unexpectedly banned from both Tinder and Hinge simultaneously. I am puzzled by how this could have happened. I have consistently maintained a polite demeanor and never breached any of the platforms' rules or guidelines.

I was repeatedly notified by Match.com about having unread messages, with the count reaching 8 over a couple of months. Upon subscribing, I discovered there were actually 0 unread messages. According to the Terms of Service, subscribers in California can request a refund within 3 days by sending a letter. However, sending a letter might not reach them before the 3-day deadline if done over the weekend. I am seeking advice on how to speak to a representative promptly to facilitate a refund within the necessary timeframe.

I signed up for Match.com in [redacted] and had a positive experience as I met my girlfriend on the platform. Recently, we both canceled our accounts, but we discovered that her image was still being used in ads. To address this, we were advised to deactivate and delete our accounts entirely. While my girlfriend's deactivation was smooth, mine has been problematic. Despite deactivating and receiving a deactivation number, Match.com has continued to bill my account into this year. I've reached out to customer service multiple times for a refund, providing requested documentation, but have only been told they cannot locate my deleted account. Repeating the process several times without speaking to a person has been frustrating, and I have lost over 700CDN and countless hours in this ordeal. The situation is unacceptable.

I had a free account on match.com and recently upgraded to a paid membership. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with verifying my phone number after the upgrade. Despite trying multiple times to contact customer support, I have not received a response yet.
