I prefer meeting people in groups like meetups as meeting individuals is awkward for me. Unfortunately, the ones who like me are not my preference, and vice versa. So, I've realized I might be too picky. Please cancel my subscription immediately. I have removed my pictures from the website and tried to cancel via email, but it doesn't seem to work. I want my subscription canceled as of yesterday, Sunday, February 9th, [redacted]. - Ann Chastain (Anita)

I am frustrated as I see multiple charges from match.com on my bank statement although I terminated my account years ago. Following my trial period, match.com assured me that my account was closed. Unfortunately, my bank account indicates four unauthorized transactions. I made contact with match.com, and a service agent promised to issue a refund for the erroneous charges. While this refund was promised some months back, it has yet to reflect in my account. I have verified with my bank that no refunds have come through as of February 14, [redacted].

I signed up thinking it was $19.95, but my Visa was charged $[redacted].94, which converted to $[redacted].89. I'm unsure how this occurred, but I'd like to try the service for free or at a much lower cost than what was charged. Can I adjust my plan, cancel, and receive a refund? I have not used the service and do not wish to be a premium member until I understand how it works. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Regards, N. Bullock

I have been facing challenges getting through to Tinder's customer support. When I do receive responses, it becomes a repetitive cycle of trying to ascertain the reasons behind my account ban, without being provided with concrete explanations on how I violated their policies. I firmly believe that my account was banned solely due to my trans identity and expressing my femininity on the platform. Despite engaging politely with others and not engaging in targeting or harassment, my account got flagged and banned. The lack of clarity on the ban reasons is frustrating. The customer support I'm receiving from Tinder is unproductive, as I find myself having to resend similar emails repeatedly in the hopes of receiving a satisfactory explanation. Unfortunately, the responses I get are generic auto-replies that do not address my concerns effectively.

I am concerned about a user named Greg Voss who engages in inappropriate behavior on multiple dating sites. He uses various email addresses and often doesn't upload a picture. Our research on Match and Meetville revealed his real information, but he also has fake accounts. He is known to be a sex addict who frequents chat rooms and video chatting apps to watch women. Greg utilizes text and burner apps to obtain women's numbers and convinces them to send him photos. Despite being 39 years old with a 16-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, he typically targets women aged 18-25. Greg pretends to be sweet, romantic, and shy, blaming his ex to gain sympathy before engaging in sexting. He sends misleading photos and vanishes once exposed. His real name is Gregory Voss, works at Big Number One Motorsports in Homewood, Alabama, resides in Adamsville, Alabama, and can be reached at [redacted]. Some of his emails include [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] It is crucial to address this concerning behavior.

I recently discovered that my old account under [redacted] from [redacted] was not deactivated, leading to issues with my recent subscription. After renewing my 6-month profile in September [redacted], it was blocked on February 15, just after connecting with someone. Despite speaking with customer care, I am still waiting for a resolution from Match since February 15. I am concerned about being charged $75 for a profile that is currently inaccessible. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via phone, text, and email, I am yet to receive a satisfactory response. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this frustrating situation. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Sherri.

Dear Match, I am reaching out to request a refund as I have noticed multiple charges totaling over $78 since my account was opened on 12/12/[redacted]. Despite the agreed monthly fee of $9.99, you have deducted amounts well beyond that on five occasions. This is not the arrangement I consented to, and having money withdrawn without my authorization is unacceptable. This unauthorized deduction has caused overdrafts and subsequent bank charges, which is disappointing. I am requesting an immediate full refund of the excess amount taken. Due to this breach of trust, I feel compelled to cancel my profile, even though it is before the 6-month period. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, D.G. 22 Sullivan Way, Wigan, WN13TB [redacted]9 [redacted]

I signed up and enjoyed using Match.com for two years. However, I did not wish to renew my membership. Today, I discovered that Match charged my card $[redacted].88 for renewal, double what I paid last year for a year's subscription. I have already canceled my membership, but I am seeking a refund for the recent charge. The transaction was processed this morning. My username for Match.com is [redacted]

I subscribed to Match dating app for 3 months through iTunes, but I am extremely dissatisfied with the service. The search feature only allows me to look within [redacted] kilometers, and the "discover" and "search" tools yield minimal results. Despite having an appealing profile with photos, very few members have viewed it in the two weeks since I joined. It appears there are numerous fake or inactive profiles. I received emails from users, like "Jaco", but their messages vanished when I tried to check them. These users then became unreachable. Also, the daily matches I receive include old suggestions and profiles I'm not interested in. The lack of active members makes the app pointless. I have canceled my subscription and I am seeking a refund. Thank you.

I am very disappointed that my user on Match.com was blocked due to harassment from another member. They called multiple times at late hours and restricted me from using the site. After I declined a lunch invitation and blocked them, they reported me, leading to my account being blocked. I request a refund as a new user who signed up just last week. It is disheartening that one customer's complaint without hearing my side led to this extreme action. I am unsatisfied with this service and urge a prompt resolution. Thank you.

I am Phyllis G., my email is [redacted], and you can reach me at [redacted]. Today, I tried contacting you but had to hang up after being on hold for over 30 minutes. I received information and pictures of potential matches, including one named Matthew from Baton Rouge, LA. Due to my background working with internet fraud at an FBI branch, I easily identified him as a scammer. These scammers often ask financial questions and prompt you to contact them outside the platform. Despite blocking his number, he managed to call me twice. I recommend immediate action to remove this scammer from your site.

Hello, I have reached out to customer service twice about my account issues, but I have only received automated responses. I am looking to speak with a live representative. Although I have canceled the automatic payment, it should continue until the end of the month on the 30th. However, when I tried to log in, I received a suspicious activity email and have been blocked. I simply want access for the full duration of the term that I have already paid for.

I am concerned about someone using my name, Ross DeVol, and possibly sharing my home address. I recently received cards on April 3rd and had a visit from a woman on April 26th. She showed me a profile picture that is not of me. She mentioned the person claimed to work in IT or engineering, which is not my profession. She confronted him after googling my address, thinking he stood her up at Starbucks. Strangely, both incidents involve women who live near me. I suspect this individual is using my identity to deceive women. Please respond via email detailing the steps taken to address this issue. Otherwise, I may have to involve a lawyer to address this matter with your organization. On a side note, I have been happily married for over 20 years. If my name is searched on Google/YouTube, my true profession and photos can be verified. Regards, Ross C. DeVol [redacted] Talamore Blvd. Bentonville, AR [redacted]

I canceled my subscription on March 25, but was charged for another month on or around April 16. I did not want to continue the subscription and require a refund. I have tried calling twice without success and waited for a long time without reaching anyone. Today, I have been on hold for 45 minutes only to hear canned music. I have not used the site since canceling. Please inform me of the refund process as I was charged incorrectly for the second month. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] My new credit card details have been updated. Thank you, Megan.

I did not re-enroll in my premium membership due to budget constraints amid the pandemic. I canceled my membership last week. However, after receiving a reminder email from Match.com, I found my account upgraded to premium when I logged in. Although I have been receiving emails about a limited-time free messaging offer, I did not re-enroll. Upon checking my credit card, I noticed Match charged me for a full six-month membership. Contacting their customer service resulted in unhelpful responses. I kindly request canceling my premium membership and refunding the charge. Thank you.

In [redacted], I had trouble accessing my account and requested help with resolving it. Despite my attempts, the issues persisted, so I asked for a cancellation and refund which I unfortunately forgot to follow up on. Recently, while preparing my taxes, I discovered a charge in February [redacted] for Match services, which I did not use and was unaware my membership was still active. I have been trying to contact customer service for both [redacted] and [redacted] refunds but have been unable to reach a representative, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have hesitated to dispute the charges as Match automatically deletes accounts in such cases. I am seeking a full refund for [redacted] and [redacted] due to ongoing site problems that prevented me from accessing the service. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.
