I recently completed a competency road test on June 6 in Plymouth. Unfortunately, I was notified that I did not pass. The examiner, ID number [redacted], displayed abrupt and unfriendly behavior, and shockingly advised against a retest. Surprisingly, I was not directly informed of my failure; instead, I was told that the decision rests with RMV after they review the road test score sheet. Normally, RMV allows a retest after a two-week waiting period following a failed test. It seems unusual for an examiner to suggest no retest, denying me the chance to correct my mistakes. This decision feels overly punitive, impacting my future opportunities. I am seeking advice on potential alternative actions I can take.
Best regards,
D. Smith

I have been attempting to pay a suspension fine to Massachusetts. I recently had a child support hearing and completed my final child support payment after 21 years. I reside in New Hampshire and have been trying to contact them for over a week. The wait time keeps increasing instead of decreasing as usual. I am not very proficient with computers, but I am hopeful that the time it took me to write this message will be enough for me to get through and pay the suspension fee. I am eager to regain my driving privileges, which I greatly need and desire. Thank you for your assistance.

When I went to get my car's inspection sticker, I was informed that there seemed to be an issue with my registration, even though my car was clearly registered. They were unable to issue the sticker, suggesting there might be an outstanding ticket. I've been advised to contact the RMV to investigate why my registration status is showing as unregistered and preventing me from obtaining the inspection sticker.

Hello,
I am reaching out because my husband recently received a letter from the RMV stating that the registration of one of his cars will be suspended. I am puzzled as to why this is happening. Despite my attempts to contact them using the provided phone number, I was on hold for 1 hour and 34 minutes before the call got disconnected. I also tried to schedule an appointment, but I am unable to do so as I am having trouble locating the required ID letter and his foreign driver's license. We visited the RMV in person, but unfortunately, they were not able to provide any helpful information. This situation is challenging for us as we are trying to address an issue without knowing the details. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide. If you are unable to help with this matter, kindly share another email address I can reach out to for support, as the customer service email mentioned that the suspension issue is not under their jurisdiction.
Thank you.

This is my third appointment since June for a mass ID for my nephew, who has signed up for the Army. Every time we go there, they ask us to leave and make another appointment. He will not be able to join the Army because it takes weeks to get an appointment. They leave at the end of August. We had a certified birth certificate, social security card, a copy of his address on a bank statement, but they requested more than that. This is not what it says online. They mentioned needing certified school transcripts, which seems unreasonable. We are frustrated with this situation, and it is causing problems for someone who wants to join the military. Please contact me at [redacted]. I am his aunt and need your assistance.

I had an out-of-state violation that I believed was resolved. I got rid of my car and resided outside the country for some time. Now that I have a job that requires me to drive clients, I needed to update my driver's license for insurance purposes. Upon checking the RMV, I found that the old suspension was still on record. After reaching out to the courts outside of MA, I obtained confirmation that the issue was cleared, which I then provided to MA. They removed the suspension but charged me $[redacted]. Due to the time that has passed, I now have to retake the permit test and go through a road test. The earliest available exams are in October. With my driving history since [redacted] and three previous moving violations, this situation is making it difficult for me to work.

I was informed by the California DMV that my California license cannot be renewed because of a suspension from Massachusetts due to a ticket from [redacted].
Although the ticket was paid, I have been struggling for months to reach the Massachusetts RMV. Every time I call, I end up waiting on hold for hours only to have the call disconnected.
I have less than two months to address this issue before my license expires on my birthday. It is crucial that I resolve this soon to avoid any further complications.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could reach out to me to help me understand and resolve this situation.
Thank you.

My vehicle was left in storage without payment for years. I left it and the bank, Bank of America, should repossess it. The bank wants a claim for a mechanics lien with an ID or claim number to start the process. Please guide me on the required forms and steps to initiate this. Thank you. I need to submit a medical document to the registry every 90 days. The paperwork was due on September 14, but my doctor is only available once a week. I managed to see her on September 11 and had the document filled out. I went to the Taunton registry in the same building as my doctor's office to explain my situation. The registry employee could only take the paperwork and mail it, stating that they no longer have hearings officers on-site in Taunton, Brockton, or Fall River. I emailed the mass RMV address previously used to forward a copy of a decision by the appeals board in Boston, explaining my difficulty in meeting in person with my doctor due to her limited availability. I tried to ensure the document's delivery by sending it with tracking, and despite contacting the appeals board, they mentioned the decision rested with the hearings officer. I respectfully ask for understanding due to the challenges I faced in meeting the deadline, and I hope the registry will accept the document considering the circumstances. My email is ADAMMACK [redacted] for any inquiries. I've faced ongoing license issues for almost eight years with factors beyond my control, such as the delayed mail delivery. I kindly request the acceptance of the medical report submitted on September 11. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I am struggling to meet the deadline for submitting my medical report, which was due on September 14. Despite sending it on September 11 via first-class mail, the document has not been received yet. The registry requires a report every 90 days, and I am concerned about the delay. Even tracking it with UPS has not provided any update. I was informed that the hearings offices have moved and now conduct telephone interviews, which has complicated the process. I can only contact my doctor's office once a week, adding to the challenge. The 10-day window for submission is tight, and the delay in delivery by the Postal Service is causing further stress. I hope someone can understand the difficulties I am facing and help with reinstating my license.

I am experiencing a problem with my medical report submission. It was due on September 14th, as required every 90 days by the registry. I sent the document via first class mail immediately after my doctor signed it on Monday, September 11th. However, it has not been received yet based on the UPS tracking information I have checked. I was informed that the hearings offices at the Taunton registry were no longer in the building and interviews are conducted over the telephone, which has caused delays in processing my paperwork. I can only reach my doctor's office by phone once a week, and this 10-day window does not provide enough time for any unexpected delays. As of today, the package has still not been delivered by the United States Postal Service. I hope someone can understand the challenges I am facing and consider reinstating my license. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, Fran.

I recently paid a summons but still received a suspension letter from your agency. When I check online, it shows no payment is required as it has been settled. I have been trying to call for over a week, starting at 9 a.m., only to be in the first position for the queue before it increases to 60 and 90 minutes. This has been going on for 6 days. It's impossible to spend 6 hours on the phone every day and not make any progress. It's incredibly frustrating and makes it difficult to accomplish anything. This situation is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.

I recently relocated to Florida and am looking to transfer my driver's license from Massachusetts, but was informed there was a suspension on it. After contacting the Massachusetts DMV, I was told there is no suspension but there might be a fine issue. I attempted to use the online portal, but had to update my contact information, causing a delay in accessing the portal. I have been waiting on hold for three hours now, trying to resolve this matter. It is quite frustrating. How can I connect with a representative to assist me with my request?

I need guidance on obtaining a new vehicle registration for my Ford F150 truck after transferring the registration recently. Despite my insurance coverage and no current registration showing in the system, I am struggling to find necessary information on the RMV website. I visited the RMV Natick Service Center, where I was directed to call for appointments in Milford or Watertown. Unfortunately, I experienced long wait times and felt lost without clear instructions on how to proceed. Your direction on the required documents, RMV locations, and the appointment process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.

I submitted an appeal for an accident. Upon returning home, I parked in my garage, then left to go shopping. When I opened the garage again and backed up, I accidentally touched the car behind me, which belonged to my daughter's friend. I later found out she had also hit my garage door while maneuvering. The insurance company is now trying to charge me an extra $[redacted] annually, claiming it's due to 4 points on my record, which seems unreasonable. I've paid the appeal fee and have been waiting for a video chat appointment, but all I've received so far is an email confirming the video chat. However, I have yet to hear anything further regarding the scheduled appointment.

My car has been mistakenly impounded due to a toll error. I visited to get my registry sticker and was told I owed $27 for a toll violation. However, after speaking with an agent, it was confirmed that my car was not the one that went through the toll. The agent initiated a dispute and advised me to follow up in a week. It has been a week, and I have not received any updates. I am facing towing and impoundment fees due to this registry mistake. Despite being a Triple AAA member, they were unable to assist me in this situation. Could you please confirm if the dispute has been resolved? How can I retrieve my car? Will there be any financial compensation for this confusion? My details are as follows: License number R/W1329, green Mini Cooper [redacted], title number CC936725. Urgent assistance is greatly appreciated as this has been a distressing experience. Thank you, Robin Schwarz.

I'm having trouble completing my transaction due to an issue with verifying my lawful status online. I received a message stating that the online lawful presence authorization system encountered a problem. To seek assistance, I can reach out to ([redacted])-[redacted] or contact the department directly. When contacting them, I'll need to provide my name, phone number, driver's license, permit or ID number, along with a detailed description of the problem with MyRMV. Thank you for your help.
