Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to address an error in my recent booking made on 09.07.22 for a ticket from Coimbatore to Mumbai with Booking ID NF[redacted][redacted] and Confirmation Number IJ2WTY. While making the reservation on my mobile device, I realized that the name displayed was incorrect. Instead of the intended passenger, Mr. P. Rajendran, it showed my name, Mr. Vinay, which was already associated with my MakeMyTrip (MMT) account. Despite my efforts to contact MMT, I couldn't rectify the mistake. In response, I contacted the airline directly to request a name change for the passenger. The airline informed me that they had not yet received the booking details from MMT and recommended booking a new ticket under the correct name. Consequently, I made a new booking with Booking ID NF[redacted][redacted] and Confirmation Number WHYTSR for Mr. P. Rajendran, who will be traveling today. The airline assured me that no cancellation charges would be incurred due to the circumstances. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund for the initial booking without any deductions. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Hello,
I am writing to address the issue of a pending refund for the cancellation of my ticket. Following my complaint to MakeMyTrip via mobile, I was advised to contact IRCTC for the refund. IRCTC, in turn, directed me to reach out to my bank. After contacting my bank, I was informed that the mistake lies with MakeMyTrip, as the booking details still show as an upcoming journey rather than a canceled booking post-cancellation.
I have not yet received the refund of [redacted] rupees even after more than 15 days. I have attached a screenshot of the email received from IRCTC for your reference.
Please investigate this matter promptly and expedite my refund.

Hi,
I made a reservation for the Presidential Suite at Ramada Neemrana on June 24, [redacted], in the name of Pallavi Tayal. I received a booking voucher confirming the reservation. The room was available at a special discounted rate and was the last one remaining. I included the booking confirmation voucher and screenshots of the MMT website booking from that day.
Today, I contacted Ramada to verify the booking for my peace of mind. They informed me that there was an issue with the room reservation and it was not confirmed. I asked if I could switch to a regular suite, but they stated that because the booking was made through MMT, only MMT could assist.
I have not received any updates from MMT since the email containing the booking voucher on June 24. I attempted to contact MMT customer service, but the hotline did not offer an option to speak with a representative, and the website's chatbot was not functioning.
I urgently require confirmation as my stay is scheduled for this Friday, July 15th.

I recently made a booking for a Pune to Jabalpur flight for my mother, Dhanashree Oka, and paid Rs.9,[redacted]. Later, I changed the date for the Pune to Jabalpur leg and paid an additional Rs.3,[redacted]. Subsequently, I canceled the Jabalpur to Pune leg and received a refund of only Rs.[redacted], which seems unusually low. Even if I had canceled the entire flight, I should have received at least Rs.3,[redacted] back. In total, I have paid Rs.13,[redacted] and only received Rs.[redacted] as a refund.
I booked through MMT for better fares and service, but I am finding it difficult to manage my queries on your website. I have attached a snapshot of the booking for your reference.

Dear Sir,
I recently booked flight tickets for my wife, Rajeswari Amma Vasudevanthampi Krishnamma, from Trivandrum to London on 19.07.22 and returning on 06.08.22 via MMT. However, we encountered VISA issues and had to cancel the tickets. We have rebooked the same trip for 29.07.22 and 16.08.22 respectively, still through MMT.
Upon reviewing the cancellation charges, I noticed that MMT has charged me six times the convenience fee for both trips, as well as a cancellation fee for the tickets. This excessive penalty is disheartening, especially considering MMT's reputation as a leading company.
Despite the additional charges, I have continued to choose MMT for my bookings, trusting in your services. I kindly request a refund of the excess amount I have been charged for the bookings and cancellations. I have attached the booking details for your reference.

Hello, my name is Sunny Singh. I canceled my ticket on January 30th through Nake My Trip customer support. Initially, they provided a refund deadline of August 15th for my canceled ticket. However, the date has now been changed to December 15th for the refund pending airline approval. When I booked the ticket, there was no condition mentioned about needing airline approval for a refund. Your company appears to have changed its policy, and if the same applies to me, I may reconsider being your customer. It has been nearly 8 months, and I am still waiting for the refund. This delay is not my fault, and I request a prompt resolution and refund. I have tried reaching out to customer support through email, but have not received any response. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to contact your customer support via phone as I am overseas.

I booked a flight from Kolkata to Raipur to Visakhapatnam for May 11, [redacted]. The Raipur to Visakhapatnam flight got canceled due to bad weather. Although I received a cancellation message from Air India, Makemytrip is refusing a refund, claiming it was a "no show" as the flight supposedly operated. The confusion arises because the flight was scheduled from Mumbai to Raipur to Visakhapatnam to Mumbai. Due to the weather in Visakhapatnam, the flight went back to Mumbai from Raipur.
I provided all communication to support my case to both Makemytrip and Air India, but the issue remains unresolved. Air India mentioned that since the ticket was purchased through a travel portal, the refund needs to be claimed through them.
It's frustrating when these portals charge us but fail to extend proper service post-payment.

Dear Priya, I am extremely frustrated with the recent experience I had with MMT. Soon after I booked a train ticket, the security code was not visible due to MMT's server being down, resulting in the ticket being automatically canceled on August 9th. Despite receiving a message assuring me that the refund would be processed within 3 working days, the money has not been returned to my wallet yet. It is disheartening that every time I attempt to contact customer care, I am unable to speak directly to them. I am deeply disappointed with this situation, especially because I have recently opened a new store. If the refund is not issued promptly, I may have to reconsider booking tickets through MMT in the future. The lack of resolution and communication is causing me significant distress, and I hope for a swift resolution.

It seems that MakeMyTrip recently informed me about the refund for my failed booking. Although they stated that a refund of INR [redacted].8 was processed through Paytm on August 12, [redacted], I have not received it yet. Each time I try to reach out to customer service, I am unable to speak to anyone. When calling the MakeMyTrip Customer Care number, I receive a message confirming the refund process and promising that the amount would reflect in my bank account by August 13, 12:22 PM. However, as of now, the refund has not appeared in my bank statement. I hope to resolve this issue soon and receive the refund as promised.

I booked a ticket to travel from Gorakhpur to Delhi on 01.08.[redacted] with your airline through the MakeMyTrip app on my mobile number. The flight got canceled due to heavy rain. I am still waiting for a refund from MakeMyTrip. I was informed that only half of the amount has been refunded by Alliance Air. I am writing about the refund process for PNR no. ZT6BWA for a flight from Agartala to Chennai. The refund was initiated due to an error in the chosen date, as I mistakenly selected 21st October instead of 31st October [redacted]. After contacting Indigo customer care, they confirmed a total refund of Rs. [redacted]/-, as shown in the attached confirmation. However, MMT has only confirmed a refund of Rs. [redacted]/-, which has not been credited to my bank account yet. MMT deducting Rs. [redacted]/- without explanation is concerning, especially when Indigo only deducted Rs. [redacted]/- as confirmed. As a loyal customer with Exclusive MMTBLACK status, I request clarification on this matter. If MMT continues to charge unnecessary fees like this, I may have to reconsider booking future tickets with them.

Dear MMT Team,
I am writing regarding the cab that was booked in advance but did not arrive as scheduled. Despite efforts by the customer service representative to arrange another cab, the second driver also cited the same excuse, leading to a cancellation. As a result, I had to resort to alternative transportation to reach the airport on time, as our family was at risk of missing our flight. I would like a refund for the advance payment made for the cab service.
I found it challenging to reach MMT for assistance, and communication via phone was not very helpful in resolving the issue promptly. It would be appreciated if the refund could be processed efficiently. I believe improvements are needed in customer service and reliability in such situations going forward.

However, upon arriving at the pickup point at Akshardham, I was unable to reach the bus operator despite numerous attempts one hour prior to departure. I need to address my concern regarding a flight ticket I booked through Make My Trip on Indigo Airlines from Hyderabad to Cochin on October 24, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the ticket due to unforeseen circumstances, but I have yet to receive the refund despite numerous follow-ups.
After inquiring about the refund status, I was informed by IndiGo Airlines that the ticket was booked through a travel agency on the Make My Trip site, and they advised me to contact the agency for the refund. However, I have been unable to locate any contact information for the agency on the ticket.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly and urge you to take action against IndiGo Airlines and the agency responsible for the lack of information provided. I have contacted IndiGo for the agency's details, but they have been uncooperative.
Attached is the flight ticket issued by the agency without any contact information. I am concerned about how to reach the agency for further assistance. I booked a Thailand package through MMT, and the ID is NL[redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, the names of all passengers on the international flight were transposed, with last names and first names switched. After requesting a name correction from an MMT agent, I was informed that it could be corrected with a penalty of $45 per person. I paid the penalty amount of [redacted] rupees about 9 days ago, but there has been no update on the correction since then. I am concerned that they are intentionally delaying the process to collect more money from me. I have been unable to reach the executive, and when I open tickets, they are closed without providing a solution.
