If you had to cancel your trip, you can go through the refund process with MakeMyTrip. For plane tickets, you are able to cancel your trip online if it's more than three hours before the planned departure.

In the top right corner, select 'Log In.'
You can sign in to your account with your email address or phone number, and password. Alternatively, you can sign in with your Google or Facebook account.
Once you have signed in, select the 'Customer Support' link.
Under the Flights section, select 'Cancel Bookings.'
You will be asked to enter the MakeMyTrip Booking ID for the flight you want to cancel as well as the contact number that you gave at the time of the booking.
You can choose between canceling your entire booking, specific passengers, or portions of the trip.
Review the cancelation penalty and the refund amount before continuing.
The refund will be the same as what you paid for the original booking. You will be refunded onto the same form of payment that you used to originally pay for the flight.

If you cancel your tickets directly with the airline, you'll need to follow these steps to collect a refund from MakeMyTrip.

Under 'Special Claims,' submit a ticket explaining you already canceled your ticket directly with the airline and now you want to receive a refund.
