Dear Sir,
I am requesting a refund for a flight I was unable to take from Hyderabad to Madurai on January 29th, [redacted]. I purchased the ticket through MakeMyTrip.com with a travel route of Doha-Hyderabad-Madurai. Upon landing in Hyderabad, I experienced low blood sugar and fatigue, requiring me to increase my glucose levels. After having some sweets and breakfast at a restaurant, I waited in the sitting area for my Madurai flight. Unfortunately, I fell asleep and missed boarding as the staff explained the time for entry had passed. I had to take another flight to make it to a morning wedding commitment in Madurai.
Upon my return to Doha, I contacted SpiceJet India's customer service to explain the situation. They assured me that any refundable amount would be processed promptly. I was recently informed that the refund has been credited back to my MakeMyTrip account. I kindly ask for your prompt assistance in returning the funds to my account. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear MakeMyTrip Customer Service,
I have been trying to reach customer service since the evening of the 15th, but nobody from MakeMyTrip has answered my call. I have also attempted to cancel my flight ticket both through the website and the app, as seen in the attached screenshot.
I would like to request the cancellation of the following flight ticket for both legs of the journey from Abu Dhabi to Chennai and vice versa, and receive confirmation:
Booking ID: NN[redacted][redacted]
E-Ticket No: [redacted][redacted]
PNR: LAXJAL
Flight details: Etihad Airways (EY-[redacted])
Departure date from Abu Dhabi to Chennai: 18/03/[redacted]
Return details:
Flight details: Etihad Airways (ET-[redacted])
Departure date from Chennai to Abu Dhabi: 22/03/[redacted]
I contacted Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi regarding the cancellation, and they advised me to only reach out to the MakeMyTrip team as they were unable to process the cancellation themselves.
Please proceed to cancel my booking for both legs of the journey and facilitate the eligible refund process.

Good morning,
I recently received an email from you stating that the airlines are offering a rescheduling option instead of a refund for my canceled tickets. However, I have been in contact with Aeroflot, who confirmed that full refunds are available for tickets canceled involuntarily. Aeroflot's official communication on their website also specifies that passengers whose flights were canceled due to COVID-19 are entitled to a total refund without any cancellation fees. According to international law, in cases of flight cancellations due to extraordinary circumstances, airlines are obligated to refund the full ticket price.
Therefore, I am kindly requesting once again for the total refund of my bookings:

Route: Delhi to Milan on 28th March
Booking Reference NN [redacted][redacted]
Passenger: WNKHOY (Jan Galanidis)

My flight booked with IndiGo through MakeMyTrip on March 25th was canceled due to the nationwide lockdown. IndiGo canceled my ticket on their website on the same day and I received an email mentioning a full refund. IndiGo has informed me that the refund amount was transferred to MakeMyTrip. I have tried reaching out to MakeMyTrip on Twitter and via customer care, but have not received any response. In the MakeMyTrip app, my trip status is marked as completed, despite all flights being suspended until April 14th. Why am I unable to request a refund on the MakeMyTrip site? I would appreciate your assistance with this matter.

Hello,
I'm Manpreet Kaur, a loyal Make My Trip customer for the past few years. On 9th February, I booked two international flights through your portal:
1. Booking NN[redacted][redacted] - One way trip from DEL to YYZ.
2. Booking NN[redacted][redacted] - Round trip from DEL to YYZ and back.
These flights were scheduled for 19th April, [redacted] from Delhi to Toronto. I recently received an email stating that my flight was cancelled due to the current situation. After speaking with a customer care executive, I was informed that I could choose alternate dates until 30th April [redacted].
I opted to keep my ticket open, but I am now having trouble selecting the alternate dates when I call customer care. The system states my flight is cancelled and that refund information will be provided shortly. I am concerned about my hard-earned money and uncertain about the deadline to select new dates. I seek guidance on this matter or assistance in reaching the right department for help. The current situation is understandable, but I am eager for a resolution.
Thank you,
Manpreet Kaur

I need assistance regarding my recent booking with Indigo, where I encountered issues with their service. I made a reservation for my family to travel on May 5, [redacted], and paid Rs. 79,[redacted] (excluding Seat reservation fee). Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 flight cancellations by the Telangana Government until May 7th, my family won't be able to make the trip on the scheduled date.
Given the circumstances, I believe it's best to cancel the return ticket as well. The Credit shell option doesn't suit our situation since my family won’t be traveling to Doha or elsewhere for a few years due to personal reasons. I kindly request your help in facilitating a full refund for the entire ticket amount. Thank you.

I booked a flight from Bangalore to Ranchi on MakeMyTrip's website on June 8, [redacted], for June 10, [redacted]. I used guest mode and paid via UPI through Google Pay. The payment of 15,[redacted] INR was deducted, but the booking failed due to a page crash. No confirmation emails or SMS were received from MakeMyTrip. However, I did receive a confirmation email from Axis Bank about the deduction. I rebooked the same flight using the same email address and the payment of 15,[redacted] INR was successful. I need assistance in resolving the issue and getting a refund for the initial failed booking.

Subject: Urgent Refund Needed for Cancelled Flight Booking
Dear Customer Service team,
I am writing regarding a recent flight booking from Shirdi to Delhi on 30 March [redacted] under the passenger names Mukesh Makwana and Pradeep Solanki with the PNR YDVIYG and a contact number of [redacted]. Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled five hours before the scheduled departure time due to unforeseen circumstances. The airline assured me a full refund within 48 hours without any deductions, as I had booked through MakeMyTrip.
Regrettably, despite the airline's assurances, I have not received the refund yet. MakeMyTrip has not responded to my inquiries, leaving me frustrated and disappointed with the lack of customer service. I have patiently waited for four months, but I now seek urgent resolution to this matter.
I kindly request your prompt assistance in processing the refund as promised. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to bring to your attention that ticket number NF[redacted][redacted] was canceled by IndiGo on 10-06-[redacted] from Delhi to Hyderabad due to flight non-operation. I reached out multiple times to customer service via phone and email and was eventually provided with a credit voucher equal to the ticket amount minus cancellation fees by IndiGo. The voucher must be used by 31-03-[redacted] as per your policy. I do not intend to fly anywhere in the future. I kindly request a refund in cash rather than a credit voucher, as I paid in cash at the time of booking and the voucher is not useful to me. I look forward to a prompt refund. Dear Team MMT,
I am reaching out regarding booking ID: NF[redacted][redacted] as I have a few inquiries that require clarification:
1. Regarding the cancellation of the GoAir flight from IXZ to BLR, I noted a discrepancy in the cancellation charges amounting to Rs. [redacted] for one ticket. Kindly review and verify this difference.
2. For the cancellation of the Indigo flight from BLR to IXZ, which was rescheduled to Aug 5th directly with the airline due to the pandemic, a refund of Rs. [redacted] was initiated but has not reflected in my wallet yet. When can I expect this refund to be processed?
I also have a request to transfer the funds directly to my account instead of retaining them in the wallet, as per my initial preference. Despite opting for account transfer, the funds were credited to the wallet. I kindly request all refunds to be directly transferred to my account.
Thank you for your attention to these matters.
Best regards,
Sachin

I purchased a flight from FCO to DEL on 11th July for four passengers through MMT. I've reached out to Alitalia, and they mentioned that any actions needed must be handled by MMT as they have issued the tickets. Unfortunately, I am struggling to find a way to communicate my concerns via your website as the only available chat is with a bot, which doesn't allow me to convey my issue adequately.
I have spent hours attempting to resolve this through Myra, but I couldn't find any suitable options for my situation. Given the current circumstances with the virus, it's evident that I won't be able to travel on the scheduled date. However, I cannot find a way to connect with an MMT representative to discuss changing the travel date or obtaining a refund for the tickets.
Please assist me by enabling a chat or call with a real person, not a bot like Myra. I deeply regret using MMT and would appreciate your help in resolving this matter promptly.
Thank you,
Pietro

I made a flight reservation from Milano to Sydney with your company earlier this year. Due to the coronavirus situation, our return flight on March 12th was canceled. The booking includes my wife, Angelina Jessica Maddalozzo, our two sons, Francesco and Massimo Carosso, and myself, Giovine Marco Carosso.
Initially, my wife requested a refund, but considering the potential delay, I am inquiring about the possibility of rescheduling the flight instead. This would be a more convenient solution for both parties. As borders are reopening, changing the flight date from Sydney to Milano would be ideal.
While communications have been with my wife, Angelina, I am now taking charge of resolving this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Subject: Issue with MakeMyTrip Booking - Need Assistance
Dear MakeMyTrip Support,
I am reaching out regarding my booking with Booking ID NN[redacted][redacted]. On 27th July, Gulf Air canceled my flight for the second time despite rebooking. I have been trying to obtain a refund, but it has been a back-and-forth between Gulf Air and MakeMyTrip (MMT). Gulf Air mentioned that MMT is responsible for the refund, yet I keep getting directed back to Gulf Air when I reach out to MMT for assistance through the app.
The customer service experience has been disappointing as I am unable to speak to a representative and resolve this issue. I have been a loyal customer of MMT for years and never faced such challenges before.
I kindly request your prompt assistance in processing the refund from MMT's end, as Gulf Air has confirmed that MMT needs to handle this matter. Your help in resolving this matter efficiently would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
M.S.

I have a booking with MakeMyTrip for a Kolkata to Leh flight on August 21, [redacted] with PNR TBBLSD. The airline cancelled the flight. I contacted GoAir support, and they initiated a full refund of INR [redacted] to MakeMyTrip. However, instead of refunding me the full amount, MakeMyTrip issued a credit voucher for INR [redacted], which is less than what it should be. My original booking value with MakeMyTrip was INR [redacted] after credit card discounts. I am missing INR [redacted]. Why did MakeMyTrip issue a credit voucher instead of refunding my money? I have tried reaching out to their customer support numbers, but have been unable to get through to voice support, and my emails and support cases have not been addressed. I am feeling frustrated and just want my money back.

I have requested a refund due to flight cancellations. MMT mentioned that Lufthansa Airlines will decide on the refund. I booked through MMT, not Lufthansa, so I expect MMT to handle the refund entirely. I anticipate no issues with the claim. If MMT refuses full refund, I will have to take legal action and share my experience on social media. I trust MMT will act ethically.
