However, we are unable to login now. The site indicates our number is inactive, even though the renewal payment was successfully processed using an American Express Card. My MagicJack plan expired three days ago. I've been trying to renew it using my Philippine bank debit card, but it hasn't been accepted. I've attempted to contact customer service multiple times and spent money on overseas calls, but the issue remains unresolved. Despite providing all necessary details for the payment, I had to re-enter them manually, causing my phone credits to run out and the call with customer service to drop. To make the payment, I even had to borrow money and transfer it to my US bank, which went through without any trouble. I'm extremely frustrated as MagicJack's billing system seems unable to process overseas bank cards efficiently, leaving me feeling neglected as a long-time customer. This experience has led me to question MagicJack's customer service and consider alternatives due to the inconvenience faced by customers living or traveling abroad.

To Magic Jack Customer Service, I have been a Magic Jack Plus subscriber since [redacted]/03/01. Recently, I purchased a Spectrum bundle with internet, voice and mobile phone lines, and cable TV. Due to severe weather in Dallas, I've had trouble with my Magic Jack service. Spectrum initially advised me to transfer my phone line from Magic Jack. After speaking with both Magic Jack and Spectrum, I'm now unsure of the process to transfer my number [redacted]. I'm having issues with my MagicJack number [redacted]. I am unable to use the Magic App to make or receive calls. After logging in, I see the Welcome Congrats screen, but when I click on START CALLING, the dial pad screen only stays open for 3 seconds before the application resets back to the login screen. Even after trying to log in again, I face the same problem. However, when I used a different account on the same iPhone, the application worked just fine. This leads me to believe that the issue lies with my account settings on your end after my account was mistakenly marked as expired and then corrected to be valid until Feb 13th, [redacted]. Please assist me in restoring my MagicJack service.

I previously used Magicjack before switching to Ooma and porting my number [redacted]. Finding Ooma to be expensive, I am now attempting to transfer my number back to Magicjack. The porting process on Magicjack's website seems confusing, leading me in circles between the customer service phone line and chat. Ooma provided clear instructions, explaining that port outs need to be coordinated between the new provider (Magicjack) and Ooma. Here is the information Ooma gave me for the porting: Telephone Number: [redacted] Account Name: SHERMAN SHOOK Authorized User: SHERMAN SHOOK Address: [redacted] LINN ST SLATER, IA [redacted] Account Number: [redacted]1 They do not have a PIN/password, so I need to leave that blank on the paperwork. It is advised to contact Magicjack for updates on the porting status. Ooma will only cancel my account upon request after the number has been successfully ported out. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently experiencing a service interruption despite my bill being paid until 04/22/[redacted]. Today, during a chat with Rustam, I reported the issue and was advised to update my address to [redacted] W Old Stone Rd, which I did online. I have been a customer since August [redacted] when I lived at [redacted] S Lawler Ave, Alsip IL [redacted] before moving to my current address. As a deaf customer relying on special equipment for emergencies, it is crucial for me to have uninterrupted service. Earlier, during a chat with Ellen, she verified my address as [redacted] W Old Stone Rd, Muncie IN [redacted] without mentioning any discrepancies. However, today, after 11 months without any problems, my service was abruptly disconnected. I urgently require my service to be restored immediately and request a credit for the inconvenience caused.

A few days ago, I received the magicJackHOME Device Upgrade. Following the instructions, I connected it successfully. The new device provides better reception, allowing me to use the phone and computer simultaneously. Unfortunately, I no longer receive missed call messages or the numbers for missed calls, which was a feature of my previous Magic Jack directly connected to the computer. This has caused disruptions as I care for my legally blind sister and her disabled husband, leading to missed appointments. I have been a loyal Magic customer for several years. I have encountered issues with customer support in the past, specifically regarding my subscription. There have been discrepancies in the subscription end dates communicated through different platforms, leading to confusion on my end. I am puzzled by the restriction of Magic Jack calls to my mobile phone without my prior consent. I would appreciate having the option to choose the device for receiving calls and wish to retain my current number, [redacted], upon renewal. I am willing to pay extra for the ability to receive calls on both my home device and mobile phone. I have observed that my current service provider, www.discoverflow.co, offers the flexibility to make calls to North America and UK landlines, which is a feature I find appealing. Considering other alternatives available on social media platforms, I am interested in continuing business with Magic Jack.

I'm trying to assist my brother with reactivating his Magic Jack, which has been disconnected for a couple of years. It seems like the age of the device might be causing issues with activation. My brother attempted to contact support via chat but had no luck after waiting for hours. The Magic Jack can make outgoing calls when connected to the PC via USB, but it does not accept incoming calls. During the activation process on mjreg.com, the device is not being detected when connected to the PC via USB or to the router TCP/IP ports. He updated his subscription recently on 7/4/21 to keep his original number. I also use Magic Jack and have for a long time. Can you provide assistance with this matter? I renewed my MagicJack subscription on April 20, [redacted], and received a confirmation email at 7:10 a.m. on that day. However, this morning my phone showed my subscription had expired and my number was no longer active. When I renewed, I entered the number [redacted] to avoid renewing my previous account without a custom number. Something clearly went wrong. I recently purchased the MagicJack and successfully reached the "device detected" stage. However, I am encountering an issue when trying to keep my current phone number during the setup process. On the page requiring me to select my province and area code, I am only seeing a list of numbers starting with [redacted] from my region. There doesn't seem to be an option to input my own number. I'm hesitant to choose one from the list as I don't want to risk losing my current number. How can I proceed with inputting my own number? Thank you.

I have been struggling to open my account and even purchased another magic jack without success. Recently, I discovered that Apple was hacked, potentially leading to the loss of my information. I've attempted to access my [redacted] account and reset the password, but nothing has worked. I would appreciate any help with this matter. My service was unexpectedly disconnected even though I renewed it on 2/28. Surprisingly, I was asked for more money on 3/11 leading to the disconnection. Despite receiving an email confirmation for my payment on 2/28, I felt like I am being extorted by the billing department. The lack of response to my emails has been frustrating. I plan to contact the FTC to report this behavior, as it's unacceptable. I am disappointed by this commercial conduct, especially as a loyal customer.
