I am a big fan of Magic Jack and especially enjoy using the Magic App to stay connected to my calls from Atlanta while traveling in Europe without anyone noticing. Recently, I ran into issues when renewing my Magic Jack number and the Magic App no longer recognized my email. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't log in successfully. I created a new email, which was accepted, but encountered problems when trying to make a payment. None of my credit or debit cards were accepted, and the billing menu seemed to kick me out while I was trying to select the USA. I began to suspect the service's reliability as it appeared more focused on taking money rather than providing the expected service.

I am experiencing a restriction on my Magic Jack phone number, [redacted]. The restriction stems from a dispute over a charge I made in May [redacted] for a new device. I contested the charge because the device took three weeks to arrive after being told it was shipped. Once it arrived, I informed my credit card company to end the dispute. However, since then, my new device has been restricted due to fraud concerns related to the dispute. I have reached out to customer service, but the issue remains unresolved. I am frustrated by the lack of communication with customer service. Initially, having to select sales is unreasonable. After multiple failed attempts and unhelpful sales representatives, including Ellia, the service has been very unpleasant. I am seeking a replacement device as mine is malfunctioning with echoing and noise issues. I had MagicJack for only one month in April [redacted] before switching back to Comcast. Due to a connection issue on Comcast's end, MagicJack service wasn't disconnected until June [redacted]. However, I have been billed $49.56 for another year, which I am requesting a full refund for. On my account, my last name was misspelled as Belevequa when it should be Bevilacqua. My original email was [redacted], which was hacked, and my current email is [redacted] The account was under the phone number [redacted]. Approximately 4 or 5 weeks ago, I renewed my magicJack service. However, most of my callers are reporting that their calls are being interrupted by a message stating that I am unavailable to take the call. Despite purchasing a new device as advised by magicJack customer service, the issue persists, with 80% of calls being disrupted. I have disabled the voicemail feature and upgraded my modem router with a downspeed of 25, upload of 3+, and 0% packet loss. Despite these efforts, the interruptions continue. I am wondering if my registration and activation are complete. How can we prevent these interruptions and associated advertising with the new device in place? My magicJack is connected to the wall outlet for flexibility. This problem has persisted since I renewed my service a month ago. Can I speak with someone on the phone to address this ongoing issue? My phone has been unreliable lately, making it hard to communicate. I am a recent widow and my late husband used to handle these technical issues. I cannot even access his computer. I suspect his cell phone is also linked to Magic Jack. I've tried contacting Magic Jack support but have had no luck. If a technician cannot visit to fix the problem, I will have to cancel the service. I rely on a basic track phone to communicate during this difficult time, and it's difficult with short minutes and call interruptions. I feel lost with technology at 81 years old. If I don't receive help soon, I may have to switch to a more expensive service for emergencies and family communication. I tried to renew my subscription for one year but was charged multiple times due to not receiving a confirmation. I have been unsuccessful in contacting magicjack as their website has various issues. The email form requires selecting a category from a dropdown menu which does not function, making it impossible to send a message. I also attempted to call the international number for Canada, but after a long wait, I was disconnected right before being connected to a representative. If anyone from magicjack sees this, I would appreciate some assistance.

I have been experiencing issues with my MagicJack service for three weeks. The phone displayed "no line," so I went ahead and ordered a new device, registered it, replaced the Vtech phones, and changed the cable. I have one handset at the base unit and another upstairs. I have double-checked all connections and unplugged everything, waiting 10 minutes before plugging it back in. I was advised by MJ that a Name Change form needed to be submitted and approved before I could make payments for my current renewal under my name, William Prange. I am experiencing issues with my Magic Jack PLUS device, which is paid for until December [redacted]. Despite following the suggested troubleshooting steps from Magic Jack support, the device only works briefly for a call or two before stopping.
I own two Magic Jack devices, the Magic Jack PLUS and Magic Jack Go. The Magic Jack PLUS, with a subscription until December [redacted], has non-functioning lights even after changing the wires. Conversely, the Magic Jack Go device's lights flash when plugged in, but I do not want to activate it as I prefer not to pay for two subscriptions.
Could you please assist me in switching to the Magic Jack Go device to resolve this issue?

My father's Magic Jack renewed in October even though there have been no outgoing or incoming calls for the past 8 months. Sadly, he passed away during this time, the credit card number used was changed and should have been canceled. No one authorized this charge. The company has continued to bill the card, resulting in late fees and interest. I need to verify that the account has been canceled and the charge has been removed. I was introduced to Majic Jack service many years ago by my son-in-law, Stan Trakhtenberg. I have managed this subscription and all related communications have been sent to my email address at [redacted] While my previous subscription was set to expire on 11-30-[redacted], my phone has been out of service since May. In November [redacted], I made a payment for another year of service, but my phone remains disconnected. Upon reviewing account number [redacted], you will find the expiration date listed as 11-30-[redacted].
To resolve this matter, a customer service representative presented two options: either obtain authorization from Stan Trakhtenberg for service reconnection or transfer the account ownership to my name, Michael Vener.

I live in the Central Time Zone in the US, and I've ensured that the time on my phone is set correctly. However, when I receive a phone call on my MagicJack phone, it resets the time two hours ahead of Central Time.
MagicJack Support was asked if it's possible to modify the time stamp for voicemail or caller ID. They mentioned that all time stamps are displayed in Eastern Time and are adjusted automatically for daylight saving time. Currently, there is no option to alter the voicemail or caller ID time stamps.

In [redacted], I transferred my phone number to MagicJack. After three years, I encountered device issues and stopped using it, allowing it to expire. Upon reactivating it, my old number was no longer active, and I was given a temporary new number. When attempting to port my old number back, MagicJack informed me via email that the porting was unsuccessful and that it will revert to the new temporary number. They advised me to reach out to YMAX, their carrier, despite them being the same entity. I am puzzled as to why they are unable to facilitate the porting of my old number.

My brother recently passed away, and he set up our Magic Jack account for our mother. I am currently moving her to a new location and we need to switch to a different carrier. The new carrier requires our Magic Jack account number and password/PIN, which are stored on my deceased brother's password-protected computer, making it inaccessible to me. I have been unsuccessful in reaching a live person at Magic Jack to assist with this transfer.

I bought a MagicJack for my niece and paid for subscriptions with phone number [redacted]. After encountering system issues, it was replaced with a new device. Despite difficulties in making the new one work with the old number, a new number [redacted] was assigned. I believed a simple transfer of the paid subscriptions from the old to the new number was all that was required. However, I was informed that subscription transfers were not possible. Instead, I requested a prorated refund for the remaining 40 months out of a 60-month renewal on one Visa card amounting to $[redacted].10, and $[redacted].35 for a 3-year renewal on credit cards ending in [redacted] and [redacted] respectively. The Visa cards belonged to Hartel Bascombe. I have been in touch regarding the subscriptions via my less frequently used email address "[redacted]".
