I recently experienced an issue with LinkedIn where it accessed my Outlook contact list without my consent. While trying to accept an invitation online, I mistakenly sent invitations to around [redacted] people. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation promptly, some invites were already sent out. One recipient has reached out to my company citing GDPR concerns. I have no association with this individual and do not understand how their contact details were linked to me on LinkedIn. I have requested that his information be removed from LinkedIn's database and seek confirmation from both LinkedIn and my employer. It is crucial that all details related to this individual are promptly deleted. Additionally, I insist on the removal of any information connecting me to individuals I have not accepted as connections on LinkedIn. I am eager to understand how this breach occurred, as I strictly limit my contact connections to the platform. I anticipate a written response sent to my email today, as our compliance officer is actively handling this urgent matter.

I recently received a connection request on LinkedIn that I accidentally ignored. The notification appeared on my phone from the LinkedIn app while I was on another call with Apple customer support, sorting out some issues with my iPhone. The person who sent the request is a prominent figure in the medical sales industry, which is also my career field. As I am currently laid off, it's crucial for me to reverse this error and accept the connection request. Can someone help me retrieve the name of the individual whose invitation I mistakenly declined?

I have three concerns that I need help with on LinkedIn: 1. I keep receiving connection requests on my outdated AOL account, even though I updated my email a while back. 2. I am still receiving connection suggestions, such as my late brother-in-law who passed away years ago, even though I was told his profile is no longer active. 3. I would like to temporarily deactivate my account for a few weeks without losing any information as I will be unavailable. Ultimately, I wish to only use my current email, [redacted], and remove the old AOL account entirely. Additionally, I need guidance on how to delete my deceased brother-in-law's profile.

I noticed that Alexandre Dalmas uploaded a copyrighted ACGIH publication on their LinkedIn page, which violates U.S. and International Copyright Law. The publication explicitly states that reproduction in any form is not allowed without written permission from ACGIH. I have already reached out once, but have not received a resolution. The "Customer Service" number provided ([redacted]) does not accept calls, which is frustrating. I would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

I am contacting you regarding a situation where someone is using a fake name alongside my company's name on LinkedIn. The individual in question is Major Manjoor associated with HD Renovation Inc. I, Ahmad Manjoor, along with my father, CEO Mutakeen Manjoor, have temporarily closed our account due to this issue. The person responsible for this fake account is Shaquille Stapleton, who is now requesting money to remove the account and some fabricated YouTube videos under the channel name Major Manjoor. I am seeking assistance in closing this fraudulent account to prevent it from following our LinkedIn connections. It is essential to clarify that we have no association with anyone named Major Manjoor in our company. I believe that LinkedIn will address this matter appropriately and provide a fair resolution.

I tried Lynda.com's free month trial to explore SQL programming learning but decided to cancel before being charged. However, I inadvertently ended up with a premium LinkedIn membership and was billed $39.42. I promptly logged in to cancel the membership, as I did not intend to sign up for the premium service on LinkedIn. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach anyone for support as there is no contact number provided. I kindly request a refund for the unauthorized charge.

I need to update my email address on my LinkedIn profile. Despite my attempts, I cannot do so as LinkedIn claims it's linked to another account. I'm frustrated with the lack of customer support options. It seems like closing my account might be the only way to resolve this, but I doubt LinkedIn will even allow that. This situation with LinkedIn has been very disappointing.

Hello everyone. A couple of weeks ago, I switched my payment setting to the monthly subscription option with plenty of time before my renewal date. Last year, I encountered a similar issue where the entire payment was deducted upfront, which I overlooked as I had the funds then. This time, despite updating my payment schedule, the system or company has once again deducted the full year's subscription amount of [redacted] euros from my card, which was unexpected. I made sure to adjust the settings before the renewal, but the system still took the full amount, which is frustrating. Upon checking, I noticed that the payment option had reverted to the yearly full payment instead of the monthly subscription that I had set. I kindly request a refund and urge the company to address this software glitch. It is concerning that despite my payment preferences, the system still deducted the full amount. I await your response and expect a refund promptly. It is essential to respect the chosen payment plan and provide an explanation for why my account settings were altered without my consent. This situation has left me disappointed and frustrated as a customer. Best regards, W.C.

I've been struggling with LinkedIn support for a while now without a proper resolution. My profile is under the name Kelly Crane Winkler, and I have a substantial network of over [redacted] contacts. After a year of being on the premium plan, I canceled it when I secured a job. However, I seem to have lost access to my original account and accidentally created a duplicate profile that now shows me as Kelly Winkler, Managing Editor at Galerie Magazine. I did update my current job title to PR Manager at White Good. I'm based and work in Lancaster, PA. It's crucial for me to recover my original account that I've spent years building. Can anyone advise on how to retrieve it? My best contact email is [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted]. Thank you, Kelly Winkler.

Dear Sirs, I believe in the principle of being innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Unfortunately, the situation with LinkedIn seems to be the opposite. Upon being accused of a violation, one is left unaware of the specifics of the allegation, the accuser's identity, and lacking guidance on how to prove innocence due to LinkedIn's unresponsiveness. I am deeply frustrated by this year-long ordeal and seek clarity on how to clear my name. The lack of communication and support from LinkedIn is disheartening, especially considering my past commitment to upholding the platform's values. My account access is restricted without justification, and I am at a loss on how to address this issue due to the company's silence.

I have identified three accounts associated with me. The one I actively use belongs to Linda Coughlin, a Senior Project Manager at TekSystems, with the email [redacted] However, I've noticed there are two other accounts linked to me, one for a Project Manager at TekSystems and one for an Information Security Specialist in Boise, Idaho. I cannot recall which email addresses I used for these accounts, but I no longer have access to any associated company emails if they were used. To avoid confusion, I would like to delete the two redundant accounts. I suspect these accounts are old, possibly created with unused emails like a Gmail account solely for this purpose. Could you please assist me in removing these accounts? I can provide any necessary information or you may verify that all three accounts are indeed mine by reviewing their profiles. Thank you for your help. Linda C.

My account has been restricted on Linkedin. I received a response from Linkedin regarding a potential fix, but they provided a short deadline, and I encountered an error when processing the request. I emailed the Linkedin Admin who sent me the link on the same day, but haven't received a reply even after several days. My account is at risk of deactivation due to the short deadline given and lack of customer service support in case there is an issue with the LinkedIn website. I would greatly appreciate your assistance once again with resolving this ongoing issue.

Hello, I recently noticed an issue with the logos on my profile and on other company profiles. The McKinsey & Company logo on my profile has a rainbow ribbon around it, which is not accurate. The same issue is present with the JD & Co logo on their LinkedIn profile. The logos seem to have been altered, possibly to promote diversity messages, affecting the professionalism of the platform. While I support diversity, tampering with logos is misleading. I believe this undermines the security and professional integrity of LinkedIn. Please investigate this matter. Thank you, Eugene

Hello, I would like to report that my account and Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Al Asmakh's email seem to have been hacked. I thought I was interacting with Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Al Asmakh for a business investment, but suspicions arose after receiving requests to bring cash for the transaction. Following advice from my legal team, doubts were raised about the documents provided. It appears our accounts were compromised. I urge caution to prevent others on LinkedIn from falling victim. I have invested time and money in pursuing what seemed like a promising opportunity. Assistance in investigating this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I accidentally signed up for a free month of the premiere service without realizing it, as I recently had surgery and couldn't go online. I haven't used the service for at least three weeks, and I need the extended free trial to decide if it's worth paying for given my unemployment. My email is [redacted] I can be reached at [redacted]. I appreciate a call back as I have limited internet access until Tuesday and really need this for my job search. Kindly leave a message on my phone regarding the extension. I unintentionally started the account early and intended to start on July 2nd. I will try to use the tutorial at the library tomorrow. Kindly assist as the current expiration date of July 7 doesn't give me enough time to evaluate. Thank you for your help.

Hello Team, I am writing to acknowledge my error in violating the account creation policy by having multiple accounts. I kindly request the deletion of all additional accounts, leaving only my primary account linked to [redacted], or allowing me to create a new one. My situation at IIM Kozhikode, where I began my MBA journey on June 27, [redacted], necessitates a functional LinkedIn profile for job placements. Companies scheduled to recruit from our institution often review these profiles beforehand. I give my assurance of future compliance with all guidelines. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sonali

My husband's LinkedIn account is temporarily restricted, and despite reaching out to Shane B. from LinkedIn, we only received a list of potential reasons for the restriction. We have never changed the username or password. The account restriction may be due to various factors like high page views, a profile name violation, inappropriate activity, abusive behavior, or potential hacking. I replied with questions and additional details but was informed the issue is closed. What steps should we take to resolve this matter and regain access to my husband's LinkedIn account?

I have recently been suspended from your site, which I find quite peculiar. I utilize my LinkedIn account in a highly professional manner, as you can observe. Recently, I attended the Money20/20 financial banking conference in Amsterdam, where I acquired numerous business contacts. After connecting with these contacts, my account may have been suspended. I kindly request that you reinstate my account promptly as I oversee my company's LinkedIn profile (Grandhood). I am currently in New York attending the Mastercard StartPath Selection Day and require access to my LinkedIn account for professional purposes. I have also submitted my driver's license to verify my identity. Please address this matter expeditiously. Thank you, Victor P.
