I am writing on behalf of Paul Cuatrecasas, who had his LinkedIn account hacked last week. A malicious message with a virus was sent to many of his contacts. I have reported the incident to LinkedIn, provided security documentation, and regained access to his account. I am inquiring if LinkedIn has specific procedures for handling such hacking incidents. Can LinkedIn retract the infected message and assist in sending out a new message explaining the virus incident or offering an apology? Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you, Charlotte H., Paul Cuatrecasas's Executive Assistant.
(Despite GDPR regulations, I have Paul's authorization to manage his LinkedIn and email accounts as he is currently unavailable. I reported the issue to LinkedIn on Friday. I hope for your cooperation in resolving this matter.)

I was charged $[redacted].67 for the Premium service I signed up to test a month ago. However, I wasn't notified that the free trial was ending and the payment would be yearly, not monthly as I expected. This amount is a lot for me, and I intended to cancel yesterday but decided to wait until Monday to contact customer service. I have been unable to reach anyone through the provided phone number. I would appreciate a refund given the circumstances.

Hello, my name is Mustafa Maadi.
I have encountered an issue with my LinkedIn account being restricted. Despite purchasing a membership, I am unable to login for the past 3-4 days. I have tried submitting my passport and driver's license for identity verification, but it states that my credentials are under review. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

To whom it may concern,
I recently had a free trial for LinkedIn Premium which ended today, June 25th, [redacted], resulting in a charge to my bank account. While I intend to keep using the Premium service, as a recent graduate using LinkedIn for job opportunities, the unexpected charge has caused my account to go into overdraft. I kindly request a refund for the charge, as I was not in a position to cover it at this time.
I want to mention that I did not receive the usual 7-day notice email, and under different circumstances, I would have acted to prevent this charge. Due to my current financial constraints post-graduation, I ask for your understanding in granting me a refund so I can continue the Premium subscription when I am financially stable.
I appreciate your consideration and understanding of my situation. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
R. M.

I have been facing a hacking issue on my LinkedIn account by someone named Karl-Christian. Even after trying to reset my password, his name and photo keep showing up instead of mine. I have reported a Phishing Email on the following dates: 03.06.[redacted] - Jumio ID Verification for Appeal. Despite closing my account on 03.06.[redacted], I still cannot create a new account with my work email address. I would appreciate it if all my LinkedIn accounts could be closed for Alida Kruger and I could start fresh with my updated information for Alida Jacobs. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly needed as I rely on my LinkedIn account for various activities.

My LinkedIn profile has been restricted inexplicably, making it impossible for me to log in or access my account. LinkedIn is requesting a photocopy of my passport for account recovery. However, after submitting it twice in both high-res and low-res, their automated response asserts the ID is invalid, asking for a passport instead, which I have already provided.
Despite numerous attempts to reach out via email, responses indicate the documents are still deemed unacceptable. When trying to contact LinkedIn by phone, the provided numbers direct me back to the website, which is no help for blocked account holders. One number loops a recording of their address, while the other states they are not accepting calls, urging users to go online to report issues.
As a LinkedIn Premium Member paying $33/month for services, I am frustrated by this lack of explanation and access to my account. Your guidance on resolving this would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

I have encountered an issue with my LinkedIn accounts. I had previously canceled one account, but it still appears active. When attempting to log in with my old email address, it indicates that the email doesn't exist. I can access my current account under [redacted] without any problems. I have tried to merge the two accounts, but it seems to be unsuccessful due to the old account supposedly not existing. Searching for "Donna Bonthron" on Google displays the old account details with outdated work history information that I would like to have removed. I am frustrated by this situation, as the old account lists incorrect dates for my work history, whereas my current account only shows one job.

I am having trouble with LinkedIn.com.
1. Please note that I am accessing LinkedIn from Russia using Opera's integrated VPN.
2. I have forgotten my password.
3. I no longer have access to the original email.
4. I have recently married and changed my surname. Both my Passport and Driver's License now bear a different surname than my original one.
5. The identification page keeps showing an error message - 'something went wrong, try again later'.
6. I have tried calling both support phone numbers ([redacted] and [redacted]) but received no answer.

I work as an IT research manager in healthcare. My job involves searching for IT solutions for management purposes. Recently, I was exploring the free trial of Sales Navigator on LinkedIn using my account [redacted] To my surprise, I noticed a deduction of [redacted] INR from my credit card without any prior notification or my consent by LinkedIn. I am an individual user and not using this for any company-related activities, so this deduction was unexpected and not beneficial to me. Unfortunately, the support from LinkedIn was not immediate or helpful, and the cancellation process was not user-friendly, resulting in the deduction happening before I could complete the cancellation. I request a refund of the deducted amount as my cancellation request was made after the payment was deducted.

Hi,
I received this email when I signed up for my free trial. It stated that after the trial ends on June 30, [redacted], I would be charged A$36.35 each month (plus tax) unless I cancel.
Today, on June 30, [redacted], is supposed to be the last day of my trial, but I noticed my card was charged before I could cancel the free trial.
I would appreciate your help with this issue.
Thanks,
Chris

Feedback on Paid Services:
- Career Advice on LinkedIn: It would be beneficial if LinkedIn could improve the identification process of suggested professionals as many do not reply to messages or lack the skills they claim to possess. This issue could be easily resolved to enhance the overall value of the service.
- LinkedIn Profinder: My experience with this service was disappointing as the professionals were not very helpful. I paid for a CV review, but the outcome was subpar; the reviewer simply copied and pasted my information into a different template without any improvement. Moreover, there seems to be a lack of variety in services offered across different categories, raising questions about the quality and uniqueness of the services provided. It would be more efficient to have a generic option for professional career assistance rather than repetitive standard packages. It is essential for LinkedIn to conduct audits to ensure that the services offered are top-notch and to maintain their credibility.

Hello,
I recently created a new LinkedIn account under the name Sarah Powell. However, I realized that I have an outdated account under the name Sarah Swan from before I got married. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the email or phone number linked to the old account to delete it.
The previous account belongs to Sarah Swan, who was a Regional Manager at Compass Group UK and Ireland in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK.
I've already emailed my passport details showing my previous name as Sarah Swan. I'm aiming to delete this old account.
I tried to make some changes using what I believe was my old email address, [redacted], and the old telephone number [redacted]7. However, I may have inadvertently made some changes using my husband's email, [redacted]
Thank you for your help in sorting out this confusion.
Best regards,
Sarah Powell (formerly Sarah Swan)

I am experiencing serious issues with my LinkedIn account. The clickable menu bar on the app does not appear, preventing me from creating posts using video or pictures, only allowing textual posts through the web or Chrome browser. Additionally, when attempting to create a business page, I receive an error message stating "page unavailable." I have been facing these difficulties for a while now on my Christopher A. Joseph LinkedIn account. I use a Tecno Pouvoir 2 Android phone (model name: Tecno LA). I am eager to rectify these problems soon as I plan to start running ads through a business page on LinkedIn. I have been a member of Lynda.com for many years and typically renew my annual subscription in May. On May 3rd, [redacted], I renewed my subscription as usual. To my surprise, when I logged back in, I saw that my account had been automatically transitioned to LinkedIn Learning without my request. Although I understand that the company is moving users to LinkedIn, I was charged for another annual subscription on July 2nd, [redacted] on the credit card linked to my Lynda account. This has resulted in me paying for two annual subscriptions, causing financial strain. I believe there should be a refund for the duplicate payment, especially when users are migrated mid-subscription between platforms.

I am an employee, not a recruiter, and I was mistakenly charged for "Recruiter Lite" by LinkedIn one day before my free trial ended. I am requesting a reversal of the charge, which amounts to 70.80. I have reached out to LinkedIn support using case number [redacted]28 a while ago, but have not received any response from them. The charge was deducted from my account this morning on the 3rd of July, [redacted]. I am finding it very unprofessional that there seems to be no way to contact or email them directly. I am unclear about why my account was closed. The email I received stated that due to the type of account, the restriction cannot be lifted or the "business" account merged with another. They advise creating and managing a Company Page or group from a valid account that must be in my first and last name. If I lack a valid LinkedIn account, I'm instructed to create one at the provided link. The email is signed by Holly, a LinkedIn Safety Operations Support Specialist, and includes an auto-response confirming receipt of my message and mentioning that a support team member will respond soon. This automated message explains that a LinkedIn representative may need to access my account for assistance.
