I have a suggestion for Lenovo to assist customers more effectively. Yesterday, my laptop was frozen on the Lenovo screen, and I couldn't shut it down or proceed past that point. Despite a working Internet connection and multiple reboots, Lenovo customer service was unhelpful. The representative noted my expired warranty and instructed me to visit a local dealer, ignoring my inability to leave home due to a disability. A friend recommended removing the battery to resolve the issue, and it worked perfectly. I believe the Lenovo representative should have offered this simple solution. It appears basic troubleshooting should have been a priority before referring me elsewhere. I am reconsidering purchasing another Lenovo laptop and hope for better customer support in the future. Your feedback is appreciated. ~ Leslie B.

Lenovo 720S-14IKB (Type 81BD) Model Number: MP1CLDAC Hello, I recently bought this laptop and encountered a significant issue. The fan controller installed in the laptop seems poorly designed as it operates at high speeds even at low temperatures like 55°C. While simply browsing the web, the fan starts running at high speeds for no reason. This problem has been reported by customers for over a year, as seen in various forum posts like the following: [redacted], [redacted]. Despite my laptop being sent for repair and no issues being found, it appears to be a design flaw that Lenovo has yet to address. I hope this message gets attention, and Lenovo develops a fan controller update to resolve this frustrating fan speed issue.

I reside in Jabalpur, M.P., India, and my mother owns a Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus. The device is experiencing heating issues, especially when playing games for an extended period. The screen becomes excessively hot, causing my fingers to sweat. Once the sweat dries, it leaves marks on the screen. I've read about Lenovo having heating problems in reviews, but my mother still purchased it. I suggest investigating the heating problem in Lenovo phones. It may be beneficial to incorporate a heat transfer material in the phones to redirect excess heat to areas on the outside of the phone less likely to come into contact with hands. This could prevent the discomfort caused by the heat during extended use. I hope this suggestion can help alleviate the issue of sweating fingers while using the phone.

I recently purchased a recertified Lenovo IdeaPad [redacted] from Amazon on October 17, [redacted]. In the past week, it has started experiencing issues. While using it, the wireless mouse and built-in trackpad would stop working after stepping away briefly. The Windows home button and Ctrl Alt Delete wouldn't respond, forcing me to power it off and back on by pressing the power key. This has occurred multiple times over the last few days. Despite trying to roll back drivers, the problem persists. After an automatic update, I encountered a blue screen error displaying 'MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION,' which remained on the screen for over an hour. Attempting a system restore got stuck on the file restoration screen, leading me to power it off again. It now randomly powers off and on by itself. I have attempted various solutions, including resetting it, to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am having issues with my Moto Tab TB-X704A. I have been struggling for hours to move apps from internal storage to the SD card. AT&T, where I purchased the product, has not been able to provide helpful support. Despite following steps in settings to move apps to the SD card, they do not appear in the file manager. Their solution was a factory reset, but my tablet continues to lag, freeze, and display error messages. The Lenovo launcher does not work well with apps from the Play Store, and I constantly encounter the error message "System UI has stopped." How can I successfully move the apps, improve the tablet's performance, and prevent it from freezing?

I own a Lenovo Yoga [redacted]-13". I bought it in June or July this year. Lately, I've been dealing with a few problems and I'm unsure if they are connected, but I need them resolved. My screen keeps flickering a lot, especially when adjusting the screen or randomly without touching it. It goes black and flickers in and out. Also, my camera is not working. The light comes on but shows a camera icon with a line through it. I tried troubleshooting, but I'm unsure if it's my lack of technical skills or an actual laptop issue. Another problem is random Wi-Fi disconnection without showing any available networks. It's not an issue with the Wi-Fi itself since my phone and friends' devices stay connected without any problems. I'd appreciate any assistance.

I lost the power charger for my Lenovo Pro 3 [redacted] Laptop, leading the battery to fully drain. I bought a CYD charger on Amazon specific to this Lenovo model. At first, I thought the charger was faulty as only the red light blinked, but I realized it was due to the low battery. After waiting for the light to stop blinking, I used the laptop for emails and a meeting the next day. However, despite being plugged in, the laptop failed to reboot later. Following advice from an IT professional, I tried using the laptop without the battery, but it still wouldn't work. Should I replace the charger or the battery? I purchased this laptop around September [redacted] and urgently need it for my business. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I have sent my device to the depot twice, and after receiving it back, the device still has issues. Instead of providing me with a replacement device, the depot decided to replace every part. The first time I sent it in, it returned with more problems. The second time was no different. I am hesitant to send it in a third time as I fear my issues will worsen. It is time-consuming to keep sending it for repairs only to receive it back still broken. The new problems include the side volume down key not functioning, random screen flickering, and occasional touch screen unresponsiveness. Case Numbers for the last two repairs: 40783M3 and USP08UD70U5.

Hello, I've been attempting to contact your customer support line for the past three days without success. Even after scheduling a call and requesting a callback, I have not been able to reach anyone. After being told by the automated system that my order number does not exist, I checked my account ([redacted]) to find no order history. Surprisingly, the order tracking link from my confirmation email indicates that my laptop was supposed to be shipped yesterday. Additionally, I am expecting a stylus to be shipped soon. Despite trying the online chat, I was promised to be connected to a representative but was left waiting. I am concerned about the charge on my credit card and would appreciate your assistance in ensuring the timely delivery of my laptop. Thank you, S.H.

I recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad Model No. [redacted]-15ISK from Bajaj Electronics in Punjagutta, Hyderabad, India. The laptop stopped switching on just after one year of purchase. I had bought it for my daughter in June [redacted], but she started using it in January [redacted], and by October [redacted], it started having issues. When I visited the service center in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, they asked for Rs. [redacted] for diagnosis and mentioned a possible issue with the Motherboard, which could cost Rs. 12,[redacted] to Rs. 13,[redacted]. I find it unacceptable that a reputed brand like Lenovo would have such a major problem just after a year. I haven't registered for repair yet. I urge you to consider my situation and help me find a solution that doesn't involve another significant payment for repairs. I expect better from a branded, reputable laptop like Lenovo. Thank you, Renuka.

I purchased an Idea Center on Cyber Monday at a discounted price of $30 off. However, when I checked out, the discount was not applied. After contacting customer service and waiting for over 20 minutes, a representative offered a 10% refund to my card instead, as they couldn't confirm the Cyber Monday deal. They assured me that the refund would show up in an email once the item shipped. Now that the item has been shipped, I have neither received the credit nor the email confirming it. I am frustrated by this situation and unless it is resolved promptly, I will not be a returning customer. I've already spent a considerable amount of time on the phone addressing this issue. If this isn't resolved, my next call will be for a return. Order number [redacted].

I purchased the Ideapad Model No. [redacted]-15ISK laptop from Bajaj Electronics in Hyderabad with Invoice No. [redacted]/17/S-[redacted] dated 29.06.[redacted]. Even though the warranty is for one year, the laptop has crashed just after a year of purchase. It was bought for my daughter in June [redacted] but she started using it in January [redacted] and by October [redacted], it had a problem. I paid Rs. 36,[redacted] for the laptop and did not expect a reputable brand like Lenovo to have major issues so soon. Upon visiting the service centre in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, I was asked to pay Rs. [redacted] for diagnosis, and there may be a motherboard problem costing Rs. 12,[redacted] to Rs. 13,[redacted]. This was a surprise as I did not expect such a huge expense immediately after a year. I suspect a manufacturing defect in the laptop. I have not registered for the repair yet and request your assistance in finding a solution without incurring additional high costs. - Renuka

I registered my Lenovo product for warranty on 08/08/[redacted]. The system stopped working on 11/01, and after contacting Lenovo, they diagnosed that the Motherboard and Keyboard needed replacement. The repair process has been frustrating, with changes in ticket numbers and delays. The device was returned on 12/03 with damages caused by the repair center. Now, I am informed that the repair is on hold due to a shortage of parts. I believe Lenovo should have provided a replacement unit to save time and money for both parties.

I am reaching out regarding my recent order experience and the issues that have arisen. I placed an order for two Star Wars AR products on December 8th due to a sale, but encountered website errors where the items showed full price at checkout. I had to call in the order to clarify and was informed it would ship by December 11th. Given my disability and ongoing medical tests, shopping elsewhere was not an option. To my disappointment, the order did not ship as promised, leaving me with no clear delivery date. Eager for updates, I had to actively seek information through chat support, where I learned about shipping delays attributed to increased demand. I was assured an update email, which I have yet to receive. Issues encountered: 1. Difficulty placing order online. 2. Opted for regular shipping based on promised ship date. 3. Order still not shipped according to status. 4. Concerned about missing gift deadline for my niece. 5. Lack of proactive communication on delays. 6. Delay blame placed on sales demand. 7. Promised update email not received. These experiences are discouraging, and I hope for a resolution promptly. Thank you, Cris Salazar Order [redacted]

I am currently experiencing issues with my Lenovo IdeaPad [redacted] 15iap. It keeps sticking and freezing at boot, causing a lot of frustration. Even as I write this, it's freezing up intermittently. I am running Windows 10 Home on the laptop. Despite attempting to install updates, including my desktop system from a USB drive, the problem persists. I would greatly appreciate a download link for a factory recovery to restore the original system from Lenovo. My email is [redacted] I am still under warranty, and my laptop is only three months old. Thank you for your help.

Facing a black screen issue with my H5055 Series desktop. Tried using both the HDMI ports with the Radeon R7 [redacted] and onboard graphics. Even after pressing F1 multiple times as suggested, no display shows up. Considering resetting the jumper but unsure. Initially, the fan noise was loud, but after being off for 3 days, it's quieter. The hardware scan always gave a video memory explanation point, which I couldn't resolve, though it showed no issues. Unfortunately, it's out of warranty, so I can't afford professional service. Need to troubleshoot and resolve this on my own.

Escalation Needed: I am writing regarding service request number 407KD9Y. Following a technician's visit for overheating issues, my system now has various damages. The keyboard is not fitted correctly, keys are unpressable, and there are scratches/dents on the body and keyboard. During the repair, the technician mishandled my motherboard, not knowing how to properly disassemble the machine. After reassembly, the system failed to turn on, leading the technician to conclude that the new motherboard was faulty and reinstated the old one, which he had treated roughly. Furthermore, he lost a screw during reassembly, replaced it with an internal screw, and improperly reinstalled the keyboard. The technician's lack of expertise and professionalism is concerning, and I have documented the issues. I have contacted IBM and initiated a new case (Service Request # 407L5V7) for further assistance. I am hopeful that the necessary parts, including the motherboard, keyboard, and body shell, will be replaced to rectify the damages.

My Lenovo computer recently stopped working. It was still under warranty, so I contacted customer service to arrange for it to be repaired. However, there were delays in receiving the shipping box, which took six days. The repair process then took longer than expected, and when I received the computer back, Bitlocker was enabled without my knowledge. After numerous calls, it was discovered that the company had enabled Bitlocker, so I had to send it back. Unfortunately, I faced issues with the confirmation email due to an incorrect address. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I didn't receive the shipping box. The ongoing communication problems and delays have left me without a functional work computer for a month. I'm frustrated by the amount of time and work lost in trying to resolve this issue. My case numbers were 407HG2L and 407LV5C, and the order number was [redacted]. I just want my computer repaired promptly or replaced.

My Lenovo laptop's touchscreen has ceased to function. The serial number is R90QZ761, and the booking number is [redacted], indicating it is still under warranty. I spent 8 hours attempting to resolve the issue, initially thinking it was a software problem. After Windows customer support was unable to fix it, I contacted Lenovo. Following a factory reset, the touchscreen remains unresponsive. The Lenovo technical support person, William Allen, suggested updating drivers via Lenovo Vantage or using recovery methods. Before I could respond, he left the chat abruptly. When seeking assistance, please ensure you allow time for a response before disconnecting.

I purchased a Star Wars Jedi Challenges AR Headset with a light saber from Best Buy for my grandson as a Christmas gift. My daughter only recently unpacked it due to a move, only to find their phones aren't compatible with the product. Best Buy refused a return since the return period had expired, and they no longer carry the item. They suggested contacting Lenovo for a possible return. I am open to receiving a credit for another Lenovo product. I searched for Lenovo's customer service numbers, but I only found information related to direct purchases. I have previously bought products from Lenovo, including a laptop a few years back. Can anyone assist with this matter?
