I was trying to log into my Runescape account using my password "lukechilders" when I remembered it. I struggled to get past the old school authenticator asking for a 6-digit code. I found emails like [redacted] or gmail.com related to this but had trouble setting up Google Authenticator and Authyy. After multiple failed attempts, I'll have to wait an hour to try again. I created a new Runescape account named "go2 hell [redacted]," possibly for my brother Luke Childers in Washington while I'm in Davenport, Iowa. I want to access the Runescape account I purchased on eBay. My username is "random hobo" with passwords "childers5000" or "luke childers". My email [redacted] has the password "dbcooper7." My primary RuneScape account was permanently banned, despite investing a significant amount into it, due to alleged "macroing" on Old School RuneScape, a game I do not even play. I exclusively play RuneScape 3. Attempts to recover the account have been unsuccessful as it is deemed non-appealable. Creating a new account resulted in yet another temporary ban by Jagex, accusing me of botting in Old School RS once more, even though I do not participate in that version of the game. I find it frustrating to have spent money only to be banned without sufficient evidence. Both bans were attributed to a Jagex moderator. I am seeking a prompt resolution to this matter, or I will escalate it further, including disputing all transactions with Jagex.

I am requesting a refund as I have encountered the need to redo numerous quests in the game despite being a paying member. After reviewing the terms and conditions, I am seeking a refund for all the money I have spent on membership. The situation appears misleading, especially in light of the ongoing legal matters Jagex is facing. I have consulted lawyers who advise that this situation could be a basis for legal action. I am willing to pursue this matter further if necessary. I expect a response within a week, and I have already taken steps in anticipation of potential legal action.

I am being prompted for a 6-digit code on Old School RuneScape. Eric is the individual from whom I obtained the account. He mentioned a moderator would address my account, but I never received any updates despite emailing him multiple times. Suddenly, I was logged out and now I am stuck. I am unsure which email Eric used for the registered email. I would appreciate it if he could link the registered email to mine. The registered email seems to be his, which is frustrating. The email I have is [redacted], but I cannot recall the password. I used to sign in with "hatfield 4" and my password, yet now I am unable to access my account settings. I have already contacted a moderator through my other account "go2 hell [redacted]" to disable the authenticator, but that did not resolve the issue. Despite four attempts to contact them, my credit card company allowed the transaction. The last four digits of my credit card are [redacted]. I do not have a phone number to reach out to you. I am very frustrated that fraudulent charges were made on my account. The credit card has now been canceled. Please text or call me at [redacted] immediately. I am reaching out regarding my Runescape account, 'purevoetbal2', where my in-game name was 'compromising' and my registered email was [redacted] Recently, I have been unable to access this account, and it seems to have been compromised, possibly hacked. I received an email on May 2nd (I have a screenshot) requesting an email change which wasn't initiated by me.
I have consistently played from the same IP address using the nickname 'purevoetbal2' with the password 'steenhuize988'. It appears someone altered both my password and email address a few months back.

My account got banned today for allegedly using 3rd party macro bot software. The only additional software I use is Runelite to play osrs with better performance and customization. I have never used any macro bot software on my account. During quarantine, I have been playing daily for 8-14 hours. I already appealed the ban, but I have not received any response yet. I would really appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

Hello, I am a player of osrs and have been dealing with a permanent mute on my account since [redacted]. I attempted to appeal this mute by explaining that I have changed significantly since then. Unfortunately, my appeal was rejected. In the past, I was not very engaged with the game, but over the last year, I have developed a strong passion for it and have delved deeply into its challenges and rewards. However, my gaming experience is severely limited without the ability to communicate with fellow players - whether for trade purposes or teaming up for boss battles, which I really desire to do. I used to play Gueritol a long time ago and was a member with high levels in mining that I enjoyed. After a break, I tried to log in to play with my kid only to find my account was banned for botting. The process to resolve this was unclear and frustrating, leading me to give up. Later, when I attempted to log in again, my account was locked due to multiple incorrect login attempts. The waiting period was frustrating after already waiting over a decade to return to the game. I believe my account has been unfairly banned. I have been experiencing difficulties logging in for about a week, as the game kept rejecting my password on the login page. I found it peculiar because I was certain the password was correct. Strangely, the same password worked fine on runescape.com but not in the game. To bypass this issue, I began using my linked Google account to access the game, which worked several times over the week. However, when I attempted to log in today, I was informed that my account had been banned for alleged macroing, a violation I have never committed in my 10 years of playing. The ban is irreversible, leaving me without the chance to appeal this unjust decision. I value my account and the game too much to engage in any illicit activities. Hello to the team that day by day is demoralizing Venezuelans who depend a lot on this game! It's sad to see how a big company with a huge player population can act as some kind of punisher for "breaking their rules" when they know that players do it for a reason. Every Venezuelan plays to earn, to make money, to eat, and you and your stupid rules set all that aside just to enforce your crappy rules. Let me tell you that the Venezuelan population is significant in the game, without them, it wouldn't be the same. Don't miss the opportunity to be something more, to establish rules that help players to thrive. Nobody here plays because your game is good or for recreation, your game is monotonous and boring, yet we spend all year here day and night just to eat well... Do you understand? JUST TO EAT. Personally, I've been banned 5 times for gold farming, and I say it with dignity, it's not a crime to sell to eat. Venezuelans play for that simple reason, for that we play, every day hoping to never be caught by those silly rules that don't benefit anyone, especially you since your game is what it is because of us Venezuelans. Everyone knows why we play, and I don't think you are the exception yet you proceed with your abuse and arbitrariness towards us. You are foolish, idiots, and stupid.

My account was compromised and subsequently banned for Macroing because the hacker deliberately tried to get the account in trouble. Despite clear indications of a different IP address, Jagex's recovery system claimed the account was not compromised. I invested a significant amount of money into the game, not as an excuse for my actions, but as a reason to highlight the absurdity of me engaging in macro activities. The hacker's intent to get the account banned was evident by the continuous offenses following a temporary ban. The theft of over a billion GP adds to the severity of the situation. Despite months passing, I have had no luck contacting a representative or obtaining any updates on my account. This forum is my final attempt at seeking help. Thank you for your attention.
