Hello, I have been unable to access my Instagram account since Wednesday (14/08/[redacted]). I am concerned as I typically have someone assisting me with responding to clients on this business page. The account has been active for 3-4 years without any previous issues or violations. This account is crucial for my family's income, particularly as I am heavily pregnant and we rely on it for our livelihood. I am experiencing stress due to this situation, especially given that I am 22 weeks pregnant and my blood pressure has been high. I kindly request that my account be reactivated as this is the first time I have encountered such a problem. I assure you that I will diligently follow all community guidelines and terms in the future. Thank you, Amara Perfectstopover

Lately, when trying to open my Instagram app on either my phone or tablet, I keep encountering a blank screen for a few seconds before being kicked back to my home screen. Despite following troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the app and even attempting to report the issue on their website, all I receive is a red error message when submitting the bug report. This problem arose after an Instagram update, which seems to have affected many users, as seen in various complaints online. Despite this, Instagram's Twitter and support pages claim no knowledge of any issues, leaving the problem unaddressed. As a loyal user of Instagram, I hope this issue can be resolved promptly as it has become quite frustrating. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I am an Instagram user with the handle @alishassnowflake. Today, my account was accidentally reactivated by a friend who didn't know it was disabled. I'm currently experiencing bullying and hate messages on the app, which is severely impacting my mental health and causing me to feel depressed. Unfortunately, Instagram has a one-week limit before an account can be disabled again. I am reaching out for assistance in getting my account disabled promptly due to the urgent nature of the situation. I'm feeling overwhelmed by the stress and would like to address this before it escalates further. I prefer to temporarily disable the account to preserve my friends and memories on there until the negativity subsides. Thank you for any help you can provide. While I was using Instagram, my account got hacked by prostitutes. I created a file with all the evidence to report them to the FBI and Tampa police. However, Instagram locked me out when I tried to get back on. I am frustrated as I didn't violate any rules. I am willing to pay to regain access, but I need help addressing these individuals who are using Instagram wrongly to direct people to other websites for profit.

As a business owner, our company recently changed its name from Sky Footwear to Sky Outfitters. On Instagram, we created a new account @skyoutfitters to secure the name before the transition. When we tried to change our original @sky_footwear account to @skyoutfitters, the system kept saying the name was unavailable, forcing us to use @skyoutfitters_ with an underscore. We prefer not to have an underscore in our business name. We have retained the @skyoutfitters account as a placeholder. We seek advice on how to resolve this issue and enable us to transition smoothly to our new name on Instagram. Thank you.

I have a primary Instagram account with the username kathyemcdowell. I tried to link it with another IG account under pamperedpetpaws. I entered what I thought was my password for the kathyemcdowell account, but it showed a username error and then a "Suspicious email login" message. Despite resetting my password multiple times, I still encounter the same password error and suspicious email message. After changing the password, I continue to face these issues. Each time I create a new password, I receive a wrong password message, leading me to request an email to reset it. Nevertheless, even after resetting the password, I am stuck in this cycle of receiving the password error and suspicious email error. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

I last accessed my account on Sunday 18th August. However, I was logged out yesterday (Monday) and received a message stating my password was reset for security reasons. It prompts me to tap "Get help signing in." The email I used to sign up is [redacted], but ".au" seems to be missing from the current email. Our Instagram handle is @afwarnersbay. I signed up on an iPhone. The username I use is afwarnersbay, and I have not had any previous usernames.

I have been unable to access my account for the past three days as it has been locked due to alleged identity misrepresentation, which is not accurate. My Instagram account is crucial for staying connected with friends and family abroad and keeping up with celebrities, and I have not breached any of Instagram's terms of service. Despite providing a photo of myself holding a sign and submitting my government-issued ID, Instagram has not taken any action beyond stating that a violation occurred. I have diligently attempted to reach out to Instagram through various channels to resolve this issue, but it seems I am stuck in a loop of receiving repetitive responses. I am seeking assistance on how to proceed in verifying my identity to regain access to my account, as it holds invaluable memories that I do not want to lose. Best, Isabella

I have been trying all day to reach out to the support team to report that my account was hacked. I am unable to access my account on Instagram to report the issue or delete it because the password reset link is being sent to a different email address. The username "targetlenovo" and name "Amanda Colauita" are not mine; my name is Malgorzata Dziczek, and it seems someone has created an account using my information and photo. Can you please advise on how to delete this false account? I cannot login as the password reset link is being sent to the wrong email address. I hope to receive assistance promptly.

I have concerns about my hacked account. To enhance security, I added an extra layer of protection using Google Authenticator and deactivated my account. However, upon trying to reactivate it, the authentication code I enter is repeatedly rejected as invalid. I accidentally removed the Instagram authentication from the Google Authenticator app, leaving me unable to access my account without the code, even when using old codes. An error message keeps appearing. I have access to my linked email and phone number. My ID is Sandeep_ram_, email [redacted], and phone number 91 [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts, I am unable to reestablish contact with Instagram to regain access to my account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have had an Instagram account since [redacted]. Recently, my account was hacked, but I managed to recover it by resetting my password through the app's help center. After changing my contact email and setting up the Duo code generator, I was unexpectedly logged out again. The app sent a verification code to my current email for two-factor authentication, but I encountered two problems. Firstly, the SMS verification code never arrives despite multiple attempts. Secondly, the app attempted to send the identity verification code to my old Hotmail account, which has since been deleted by Microsoft due to inactivity, and its username recycled. This means my Instagram account is now linked to a stranger's email address, leaving my account inaccessible and my information at risk. I urgently need assistance to regain access to my account and update my registration email. I have a chat with Microsoft showing evidence of this issue. How can I resolve this situation effectively?

My Instagram account, created a few years ago with a Hotmail address and phone number that I no longer use, was recently hacked. I managed to regain access, updated my contact email, and enabled two-factor authentication using my new Gmail with the Duo app. However, I was logged out again shortly after. When I tried to log back in, I never received the SMS verification code, and the email for the code was still linked to the old Hotmail address, which was deactivated and taken over by a new user. This has left my account connected to a stranger's email. I urgently need to update my email address and find a way to prove my identity to recover my important account.

I encountered an issue while signing up for Instagram using my Facebook account (Aashray Krishnani). Unfortunately, the network dropped while I was selecting my username (aashraykrishnani) and finishing the sign-up process. After restarting my router and reopening the app, I was prompted to log in using my Facebook account. However, it then asked if aashraykrishnani was my Instagram account, prompting me to create a password unexpectedly. I attempted to use my Facebook account password to no avail. When trying the "forgot password" option, it requested my email, but it couldn't locate any account associated with it. Entering my username yielded a "user not found" message. I was looking forward to trying Instagram for the first time and would appreciate any assistance to resolve this issue.

Hello, my Instagram account has been restricted from performing actions such as liking, following, and unfollowing for the last two days. The reason given is that I am using an app to gain likes and followers. However, I am only using an app to monitor my account activity, specifically to see who unfollows me and who I don't follow back. There are many similar apps available on the App Store, and I believe it is permissible to use them for insights on my account. I recently started requesting to follow everyone at my new school, and I might have been tapping too quickly, resulting in the ban for two days. Although it was supposed to be lifted on August 26th, I am unable to access my account even though it is already the 26th at noon. I am unsure if I need to wait until the 27th to be unbanned or if my account has been banned permanently.

Around three weeks ago, I started experiencing issues with my Instagram Direct Messages on my account @jackbow.man: - I don’t receive any notifications. - I can only see the most recent messages in any conversation; scrolling up to view older messages either doesn't work or briefly shows the messages before reverting to the most recent. - I can't delete or mute conversations as they reappear or switch back. - I can only view the twenty most recent conversations, with older ones not loading. - Messages disappear when I hit send. - An unread photo remains marked as unread for three weeks. - After app restarts, messages I've already viewed show as unread. I've tried restarting my phone, logging out, and reinstalling the app, with no success. The problem persists even on other devices but does not affect other accounts. This issue is frustrating as I rely on Instagram to communicate with friends. Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jack.

After being phished and regaining control of my hacked Instagram account, I now face a temporary lockout due to security measures. Unfortunately, I cannot access the security code sent to my linked email because I forgot its password and the backup email is unfamiliar to me. Despite my attempts to use my phone number for verification, each password reset still leads me back to the locked page. I am unable to bypass this security challenge and regain access to my account. If there are any solutions available to help me either access my email, change it, or override this lockout process, I would greatly appreciate the assistance.

My account, CreativeCakesbyChidex, was unfairly disabled by Instagram for allegedly violating their terms, despite my inactivity. It seems this is a common issue with Instagram, impacting accounts without cause. As this is my business account, its suspension negatively affects my client base. Despite providing the necessary documents and verification, Instagram has not reactivated my account. If my account remains disabled this week, I will publicize Instagram's questionable integrity through various online platforms to raise awareness of this issue.

A person with the username @EastLondonBoy1987 has been making untrue comments on my friend's page @iamcourtneylewin regarding me. This individual even contacted my ex-girlfriend @Anna_La_Colombiana_la_banana privately, revealing personal information about us and threatening to meet her. Additionally, this person appeared at her previous workplace looking for her, asking the staff to keep his visit a secret. The staff's description of him does not match anyone I know. The person behind this account claims to know me for a long time but is concealing their true identity. I am considering involving the police as this situation has become too personal and unsettling.
