I've been trying to create a new Instagram account, but keep encountering an issue. When I try to sign up, I receive a message stating, "Signup Error Sorry! There has been a problem signing you up right now. Please try again later. We restrict certain content and actions to protect our community. Tell us if you think we made a mistake." After clicking on either "report problem" or "ok," it leads me to another screen saying, "Error Sorry, we couldn’t register you. Please confirm you have an internet connection and try again in a moment." I've ensured that I have a stable internet connection, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, removed any old accounts, and waited for a day, but the issue persists. Can anyone provide assistance with this problem? Thank you.

I'm having trouble recovering my account. After my app stopped working, I uninstalled it and now I can't access the email I used to sign up. I'm now using an Android device, but I originally signed up with an iCloud email. I've followed the specific instructions provided by the support team, but it's been two weeks and I haven't received a response. I even sent two clear pictures of myself holding the code they gave me, but still no luck. This is upsetting because I rely on this app to see my children's pictures, which are now inaccessible. I'm Shruthi from India. Initially, I connected my Instagram account to my Facebook account using the email ID "[redacted]," but now I'm struggling to log in to my Instagram account.
In January [redacted], I uninstalled the Instagram app for personal reasons. However, on May 17th, [redacted], when I tried to log back in, I couldn't access my account and found I hadn't been deleted as I can still view it from my friends' accounts.
I followed advice to change my Facebook password, but unfortunately, I still can't regain access to my account.

I suspect my account was hacked. Recently, I couldn't access my Gmail for a few days and have been trying to reach out to you via email to recover my Instagram account. While browsing Instagram, I received a pop-up notifying me that I was logged out and upon trying to log back in, I was informed that my account had been disabled. I strongly believe my account has been compromised. Since regaining access to my email, I've been unable to resolve this issue. Instagram is a platform I cherish, where I share normal photos and connect with friends, adhering to all guidelines. It's been three days without my account, and every time I try to appeal, I encounter the same error message. I'm unable to proceed with the appeal process. I have an Instagram account and have tried to log in multiple times but have forgotten my password. I attempted to reset my password, but since my account is linked to my email, the reset password link was sent to my default email address. I am unable to recover my account due to this issue. I spoke with a Live Chat Agent named Justin Adam last night and he said he resolved the problem, but this morning when I tried to log in, it still shows the same error. I lost access to my account @emotionalrevenge, which has 80,[redacted] followers, on June 11th at 8PM BST due to a "Breaking Terms of Use" issue. However, I never violated any rules. Despite my continuous efforts to reach out to IG Support, I keep receiving the same standard messages asking me to verify my identity by sending a photo of myself holding a piece of paper with a provided code, along with my full name and username. Every time I comply with their request, they assure me that my account restoration is underway, only to send me a "restoration" link for a different account of mine that is functioning properly. This frustrating cycle has repeated about 10 times, with no progress. I have attempted various methods to resolve the issue, but nothing has been successful so far. I need assistance with this.

Hello, my Instagram username is galahad_02. About a month ago, I faced an issue with the two-factor authentication on Instagram. The authentication code was sent to my registered phone number, which I had lost and not updated. Consequently, I couldn't receive the code. I contacted Instagram support and received a link after verification, but it expired since I checked it late at 7 am, four hours after receiving it at 3 am. Following this, I provided a new email address that is not linked to any other Instagram account, as my registered email had two accounts associated with it. However, I am still waiting for a response. I request Instagram to expedite assistance and ensure that any future links provided have a longer validity period, considering the time zone difference between Phoenix and India.

My account was hacked, and the perpetrator changed my name, resulting in the account being blocked without my consent. Previously known as Espoonthetrack, the username was altered to Pabloespobar. Unfortunately, I am now unable to access Instagram as the account has been banned. This poses a significant setback as I utilized the platform to connect with my music fans, investing in promotions to increase exposure. Re-establishing access to my account under the original username (espoonthetrack) would be greatly appreciated, as I have lost all my followers within the music community. Several weeks ago, I received an email from Instagram notifying me that the email associated with my account had been changed to a Russian email address. The email provided a link to "revert the changes," but despite numerous attempts on various browsers and devices, I was unable to secure my account. After a week, the link ceased to function altogether. I have been trying to reach out to Instagram daily for over two weeks but have only been directed to an unhelpful help center with no solution in sight. My account has been compromised, and despite reporting the issue multiple times daily, no action has been taken. I have even considered deleting the account, but unfortunately, the hacker currently controls it with the email address [redacted] My account is instagram.com/chloeblue.

I have been unable to access my account for nearly 2 years due to a suspicious login attempt. When I attempt to log in, I receive a message stating that an unusual login attempt has been detected and that a security code will be sent to verify my identity. I had two accounts. Both were free of offensive content. The first account featured memes and light-hearted posts. Unfortunately, my second account, which was my genuine and cherished personal account, has also been deleted. Despite my attempts to create a new account, Instagram is not permitting me to do so. The email address associated with my personal account (the second one) is now linked to another unknown account on Instagram, and I have no knowledge of who owns it. I suspect that both of my accounts have been hacked, stolen, and removed with Instagram's involvement, though I do not want to jump to conclusions. It's all quite perplexing, isn't it? Thank you.

I have a personal account under the username "arnylitla." Several years ago, I created a second account with the username "arnymusic" (formerly known as musicbyarny). My "arnymusic" account functions as a business account. Usually, I am able to switch between my personal and business accounts seamlessly while logged into "arnylitla." However, currently, I cannot locate any signs of my business account when I log into my personal account. Although the profile still exists and can be found through a search, I am unable to access it. I suspect that both accounts are linked to the same email address, given that I set up my business account from within my personal account. Despite this, when I attempt to reset the password for my business account, only the password for my personal account is changed. The password for my personal account does not grant me access to my business account.

I am concerned about an Instagram account with the username "digitaldancey" or @robertdancey1, which belongs to an individual I went to high school with years ago. This person has a history of substance abuse and appears to be struggling with significant mental health issues. Despite not being in contact for over six years and not following him on social media, he has reached out to me and others with inappropriate and offensive messages. His behavior, which includes sexual and mental harassment, is unacceptable. I urge Instagram to take action against cyberbullying by deactivating his account to prevent further harm to users.
