I encountered an issue with logging into Instagram. Last night, I updated my contact information, changing my email and cell phone number as I no longer used the old ones. After the update, a "challenge" popped up asking me to choose a contact for a verification code, but the options were the old email and phone number that I had just updated and no longer had access to. Surprisingly, I received a confirmation email on my new address about the changes made. I'm confused as to why I am still being asked for verification on outdated contacts after updating my information. I really hope for a swift response as I don't want to lose access to my account where I store crucial memories.

Hello,
I am reaching out because my Instagram account (glamuranet) has recently been hacked. The hacker changed my email from [redacted] to [redacted] and I received a confirmation email about it. Despite my attempts, I couldn't stop this change. I sought help, verified my identity by sending pictures with a provided code, and received a link to reset my password. However, during the process, I was informed that the secret code would be sent to the fake email address [redacted] Despite sending two emails to support yesterday and reaching out twice via Instagram today, I have not received any response.
My Instagram account contains private photos of me, my children, our travels, and significant moments like my son's first day at school or my daughter's kindergarten graduation. I am concerned about these individuals invading our privacy and potentially using the photos inappropriately. I am desperate to resolve this issue and protect my personal information and that of my children.

On September 26th, my account was compromised by a hacker. They changed my username from "joudrea" to "walker_16__anton" and switched the contact email from [redacted] to something .ru. I've been trying to reach out to Instagram multiple times by sending photos with a code they provided, but have not received any response. This is the second time I've been hacked, as it happened before in August, but back then I managed to retrieve my account easily with a code sent to my phone. However, this time, I'm not receiving any codes. I feel extremely violated by this intrusion. I am urgently requesting Instagram to assist me in recovering my account by sending me an email with instructions on how to do so.

Last week (on Thursday), thanks to a friend of mine, I found out that someone was using my photos. He sent me the screenshot on WhatsApp and asked me, "Is this you?" It wasn't me. This person was pretending to be me. It really upset me. They even had more followers than me! With the help of my classmates and friends, we all reported that profile. But what did Instagram do? Absolutely nothing. They deleted my profile instead of theirs. One morning, I woke up, logged into Instagram, and saw the message: "You pretended to be someone else." I was furious. It doesn't seem fair to me. Okay, that person had more followers than me, but who knows how many other girls' photos they used in the past to reach that number! I tried everything to recover it. I contacted Instagram many times, but no one has replied yet. I have never violated any rules. I even sent two photos of my ID. I am truly desperate because I have had that profile for two years (if I remember correctly) and I worked hard to reach [redacted] followers.

Hello, my name is Sofia Varela. I have been an active Instagram user for several years without any issues. However, my account was recently temporarily locked due to suspicious activity. There seems to have been some miscommunication among our Board Members at Screendance Forum regarding our Instagram account. On September 8, [redacted], an account was created under @screendanceforum using mobile number 1-[redacted] by our Board Member Jen. Subsequently, I (Karen), another Board Member, created the @screendanceforum1 account unknowingly. We are now trying to delete the @screendanceforum1 account in order to use the @screendanceforum username, but have faced difficulties accessing the original account. Despite multiple attempts at password resets and changing contact information, we have been unsuccessful in regaining access to the @screendanceforum account. Additionally, reset links are only being received for @screendanceforum1 on our Gmail account, and Jen's mobile device reset attempts are being directed to her other Instagram accounts instead.

My business Instagram account @susan.alyse has not been loading since the morning of Sunday, October 21st. This account is crucial for my business, and I urgently need it fixed. I am able to sign in, but nothing loads once I'm logged in.
I am using an iPhone 8 Plus. I have also attempted to log in from my desktop with the same result.
When I try to access my messages on the Instagram app, I receive an error message saying, "we’re sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." The same happens when I try to use the search tab.
If I attempt to sign in via Safari, after entering my login information, the message reads, "{"message": "Please wait a few minutes before you try again.", "status": "fail"}"
Interestingly, my personal page, @susanalysephillips, is functioning properly, confirming that the issue lies solely with my business account, @susan.alyse. I would greatly appreciate prompt assistance to resolve this matter and restore functionality to my business account.

There is a page on Instagram called Punayaa that sells ethnic dresses through their website www.punayaa.com. Unfortunately, it has been reported as a fraudulent company. Customers are lured in with a promised 20% discount if they prepay, but the products received are of poor quality and not as advertised. There is no option for returns or refunds, and the customer care number provided does not work. Despite numerous complaints and reports of spam, the page is still active on Instagram. This is concerning as they continue to deceive people through the platform. Immediate action should be taken against this fraudulent company.
