Hello, yesterday I was trying to follow someone on Instagram and got a message saying "could not refresh feed." I searched on Google and followed a suggestion to log out and reinstall the app. After reinstalling, I linked my phone number for the password, but ended up with a different account. I created a new account, tried using a VPN, reinstalled the app, but still couldn't access my original page. When I search for my page, it doesn't show followers or following, comments under posts seem deleted. Today, some of my other accounts are accessible, but not the main one. I received a notification saying my Instagram activities are restricted for 30 days. Please help me restore my account as I need it urgently.

Hello, I'm Imani Thomas. Yesterday at around 11:30 am, I received a fraudulent message about bitcoin from a friend whose page was hacked. Only after I messaged her did I realize her page had been taken over. After clicking the link in the message, I got logged out. Instagram messaged me saying it was too late to reverse the changes, and I later found out my number and email were changed, locking me out. The hacker is now holding my account hostage, demanding a video.
I originally created the account on my iPhone using the email [redacted] My numbers are [redacted] (current) and [redacted] (signed up), with a backup email at [redacted] This account means a lot to me as I have built connections over the years with teachers, associates, and friends. It also represents my membership in Delta Sigma Theta sorority, my attendance at Edward Waters College, and my title as an HBCU queen. I lost access to my account around 12 pm, which has the username Redcarpet_ready_ that I've used for a long time. Thank you.

My Instagram account was disabled a few days ago without warning. I am trying to contact Instagram to appeal and have my account reinstated. Initially, I was told there was "suspicious activity" on my account and had to verify my phone number to request a review. The next day, it stated my account was disabled "for violating terms" without specifics. The link provided for more information was unhelpful, and the review link was inactive. After finding appeals forms online, I submitted two but have received no response from Instagram. I rely on my account for business and staying connected with many people, so I'm hoping Instagram can restore it promptly.

I recently decided to clean up my Instagram account by unfollowing a lot of people from my past, as I wanted to start fresh. I utilized an app to help me unfollow users in bulk. Suddenly, Instagram flagged my account, accusing me of trying to buy likes and followers which was not my intention at all. This resulted in restrictions on my account functions. Although I was eventually unbanned, I was promptly banned again after manually unfollowing a few more accounts. I did not use any third-party apps for buying likes or followers; the app in question was solely for unfollowing users. I was unfairly penalized for a wrongdoing I did not commit. I was hoping to resolve this issue swiftly as I am eager to engage with Instagram again and resume posting.

Someone asked me if they could sleep with me, to which I replied No. After that, the person made very inappropriate comments about the normalization of raping women after being rejected. I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account due to two-factor authentication and the loss of my previous device's data. I recently purchased a new phone and wiped the old device without realizing the impact on my authentication. I expected a text message verification, not a device/app approval process.
Despite numerous attempts to reach out to Instagram for assistance, I have only received one initial response stating the issue was resolved, yet I am still unable to access my account. The backup codes provided also do not work. I have provided verification that the account is mine and request immediate resolution. It is frustrating to encounter these ongoing issues.

On Monday, September 20, [redacted], my Instagram account, @nanc.ngozi, was hacked. I received an email saying my account was accessed from Atlanta, Georgia, despite me residing in Raleigh, NC. Shortly after, another email informed me that my email was changed from [redacted] to an unknown one. Despite my efforts, I couldn't revert the changes as the hacker altered most of my details. Facebook also notified me of an attempted breach on my linked account, which I managed to prevent. Despite reaching out to Instagram through emails and following protocols, I received no response. The next day, my original account messaged me, requesting a video recording of myself to regain access, but I found it suspicious and decided not to comply as the hacker seemed unwilling to return my account.

I have made multiple attempts to address this matter with Instagram's support team, but I have not received any responses.
I firmly believe that my Instagram account was mistakenly disabled because I do not engage in sharing sensitive content, harassing others in comments, conducting sales or promotions, or breaking any laws.
Losing access to some irreplaceable photos and stories that were not backed up on my phone due to an error is disheartening. Additionally, there were important personal messages in my account that I need to retrieve.

My account was disabled a month ago without violating any guidelines. I sent back the appeal email as asked (the mugshot selfie) but got no response.
And I cannot access the help center page from China. And today when I asked for foreign friend for help and accessed the appeal page and filled out my info and submitted, I got this:

A family friend on Instagram sent me a link which turned out to be a bitcoin mining hack. It allowed a third-party app to access both my main and spam Instagram accounts. The hacker took over my Instagram accounts @hannnaaahh.h and @hannnaaahh.h2 by changing the emails and passwords. I am Hannah Ressler and I can verify my identity with my ID, birth certificate, and Social Security card. I am unable to access these accounts, and I would like them deleted because the hacker is posting as me, causing confusion among my friends and family.

Hi, I believe my main Instagram account, itsanushxxapaliwal, has been disabled by Instagram. Neither I nor my friends can view it; it just shows my username as Instagrammer without any content. The registration process required access through a Facebook or Instagram account. In my haste, I did not realize the accounts were not being linked properly.
