Dear Team, I hope you are all having a good day. Last Tuesday, around 11:00 am, a friend from Virginia, whom I recently collaborated with on music, contacted me. He shared a quick way to earn extra cash with me. Although I am not in dire need of money, as I have various responsibilities such as being a new father to a baby boy, an artist, and the primary caregiver for my mother who suffers from a neurological condition, I thought the opportunity could be helpful. Trusting this friend from our past collaborations, I sent him the requested amount and shared my login details. After being assured that the process would only take 10 minutes, I found myself unable to access my IG account. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the hacker had altered my username by adding an extra letter. Despite my attempts to contact support, my account still remains compromised with unauthorized posts. I am seeking assistance to reclaim access to my account to share my music journey with my friends and family. Sincerely, Rover. The last time I accessed my account was today around 11:30 on 8/31/21, when it was hacked by someone posing as my friend who used third-party authentication to log me out.

I'm experiencing difficulty accessing my account due to a change in my phone. The two-factor authentication method I set up for security is now causing an issue. Unfortunately, I can't log in without the authentication code on my previous device. Instagram's support seems only to send automated emails without providing real assistance. Despite multiple emails and support requests, I haven't received a solution. Interestingly, a similar issue with Facebook was quickly resolved. I haven't encountered any hacking problems and wish to remove this authentication process that's currently preventing me from accessing my account.

Hello, I would like to delete the mentioned account. The reason I am not able to do it myself is because I do not have access to my account. It requires a verification code for confirmation, but I do not have access to these emails. The emails are incorrect and missing letters, so they are not valid emails and cannot be used. I want to step back from social media, so I kindly request that you delete my account. I am willing to provide identification and photos to prove that the account belongs to me. I shared a post with him that I didn't realize violated your guidelines, resulting in his account being disabled. I apologize for my oversight and promise to be more mindful in the future. Hello, I am reaching out to you because my Instagram account was hacked yesterday afternoon. The person hacked into a friend's account who then messaged me on Instagram (the hacker). Without being too suspicious, I replied to the messages, and that's how he took over my Instagram account and got access to a PlayStation subscription. He also sent the same message that "tricked" me to all my Instagram friends. The person changed my email and phone number, making it impossible for me to recover my account. Despite the assistance from Instagram, I am struggling to go through the process to get it back. As an ambassador for two clothing and jewelry brands, I am really upset about losing my account. About a week ago, I encountered issues with my app where new media wouldn't load, and I kept getting errors when trying to refresh my feed or view stories and messages. Two days later, the app went completely black with no content showing up. Despite thinking my account was deleted, my friends could still see my page. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps like restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, and logging into backups, but nothing has resolved the problem. It has been four days now, and the issue persists. I feel stuck as Instagram doesn't provide any useful support.

I am troubled by the abuse I recently experienced from an unknown individual's account. The person targeted me with incredibly hurtful comments on numerous photos, using offensive language and insults towards me and even my daughter. Despite reporting this account and providing evidence, my post addressing the issue was removed instead of the abuser. The account in question, @nodroningallowed, should not have the privilege of using social media platforms for such harmful behavior without consequences. Both Facebook and Instagram, being owned by the same entity, need to take responsibility for allowing such abuse to continue unchecked. It is concerning that while they swiftly act on some content, individuals like this abuser are allowed to persist. The focus should be on removing harmful accounts like @nodroningallowed and preventing them from creating new ones linked to the same email address.

My Instagram account suddenly required video selfie verification. Despite attempting it, the process didn't proceed. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Initially unable to log in, I eventually changed my now blank and black password. Profile picture displayed, but everything else appeared blank. After clearing data and retrying, the issue persisted. Even after restarting my phone, the problem remained. Researching solutions online proved fruitless. When attempting to log in, the app alerted of "unusual activity." Despite continuous efforts, I remained unable to access my account while others could. I recently discovered it is linked to a Facebook account under the name Rosemary Pres-elect Bolton, which I do not actively use. On September 5th, I received an email notifying me that my Facebook account was disabled due to a violation, but I am unsure of the specifics as I rarely use the platform. I have made multiple attempts to reach out for clarification without success. Subsequently, my Instagram account has also been disabled, impacting my sewing community connections and treasured photos, including sentimental moments with my late mother. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this situation and possibly retrieving my content. I greatly value my sewing circle as my primary source of social interaction besides caring for my husband and 97-year-old father. Around 9 hours ago, my account on Instagram had technical issues where my feed and profile information, such as followers, posts, and following, stopped displaying. Despite being searchable by my username (fu.andrei.ck) and able to login, no content loads on any device I use. I attempted basic troubleshooting like clearing data and cache, reinstalling the app, but only my account is affected, while others on my phone work fine. I still have access to my profile and can provide verification if needed. Some of my friends faced a similar problem, which resolved within 24 to 48 hours. I suspect my account needs a sync or a refresh to resolve the issue.

Hi, I'm facing issues logging into my account on both my mobile and laptop. I recently received an email alert about an unusual login to my IG account, which was actually me. I've been using my phone for years, but changed my phone number in May without any problems until now. Hello, I am experiencing difficulties with my Instagram account, @iwantedtokillyou. I have conducted thorough research to try and regain access to my account, ensuring that I have not violated any community guidelines since July. I recently submitted an appeal and received an email from Facebook instructing me to take a photo of myself with my email and full name to regain access. However, despite temporarily regaining access, my account was promptly reported again. To complicate matters, I received a direct message from an anonymous user with the handle @yfqht, who I discovered has a history of reporting accounts without reason. I believe I may have been targeted unjustly by this user. I have reached out to them for clarification but received no response. My account holds sentimental value as I have connected with many talented creators. It has taken me years to build my platform as a digital creator. I suspect @yfqht is misusing Instagram's report system. I have submitted multiple appeals in hopes of resolving this issue within 25-30 days. I am considering changing my username for sensitivity reasons and to prevent future problems. I am willing to provide any necessary information for assistance. Hello, I'm Ian, and my Instagram personal account has been hijacked. The hacker changed the username and password, and now I can't access the account. Getting help from Instagram has been difficult, as I've received no response after reporting the issue weeks ago. I have a screenshot of my account page with the new username on it. Furthermore, someone accessed my Facebook page, but I was able to recover it and have since added an authenticator for security. I just received a message from Facebook about someone attempting to change my password, which wasn't me. I rely on this account regularly, but it has been logging in automatically. I remember parts of the old username, but I can't recall the full details, and I've forgotten the password due to it logging in automatically for a long period.
