I have a unique living situation, moving between my parents' homes in different states and visiting my grandpa all in one week, which means I connect to three different Wi-Fi networks. Recently, I encountered a troll who created multiple accounts to harass people, including a 16-year-old girl. After defending her and blocking the troll, they continued creating new accounts to message me. When the trolling escalated to threats of hacking, I used a VPN for protection. To avoid the incessant blocking, I decided to take a break, but upon returning, my account displayed unusual activity, requesting my phone number and SMS code for verification. Despite complying and waiting 24 hours, the message persists, leading me to believe it could be related to an IP issue as new accounts face the same problem.

Today, while communicating with someone about a cryptocurrency exchange via direct message on Instagram, my account was hacked. Someone on Instagram stole my photos and created a fake profile with a very similar name, Elviskkaaa, while my original account was Elviskaaa. The fake account has been messaging my friends, asking for their phone numbers to supposedly win money. Despite my attempts to contact Instagram multiple times regarding this issue, my account has been disabled because Instagram mistakenly believes I am the fake account. I have provided my ID several times, but I have not received any assistance. Meanwhile, the fake account is scamming money from my friends under my name. Hello, I have been trying for several days to recover my hacked Instagram account! The email address and password have been changed. I tried the two-factor authentication since the account has been hacked before, but the backup codes don't work. I have already sent an email to Facebook with a photo, a hand-written code with my name, and my account details, but no response... When I click on "Forgot Password" and enter my account, I have two options. Reset it via the email address (which now belongs to the hacker) or my phone number that requires two-factor authentication, which isn't working.
