I have been struggling to file a lost baggage claim on the Iberia website. One of the required fields is for a PIR number, which I obtained upon arrival in Malta when my baggage was lost. However, their system is not accepting the number (possibly due to it being issued in Malta).
I last saw my baggage when I checked in for a flight from Munich to Madrid on June 22nd with a connecting flight to Malta. Due to a delay, I missed my original connection and was rerouted to London Heathrow with a connecting flight to Malta.
I am looking for an email address where I can forward my complaint letter, along with receipts and other necessary documents. I am aware that I have until tomorrow, July 12th, to submit my claim.

Lost luggage issue for minor child without baggage claim check or PIR/reference number. Need to file a new claim after a week with no response or bag. Bag was checked at gate even though it was a carry-on. Contacted airline numerous times, told issue not opened, advised to call back in 2 days. Up to 60-minute holds every time I call, seeking resolution.

My name is Marianela. I am traveling with my family (my husband and 3 children ages 10, 8, and 4) from Lanzarote Airport, Spain on Iberia flight IB3857, which arrived in Madrid, Spain at 17:20, where we are waiting at the airport until 23:55 to depart for Buenos Aires, Argentina on Iberia flight [redacted]. At 21:00, Iberia informed us via email that the flight is delayed until Wednesday, 10/08, departing from Madrid to Buenos Aires at 7:50, arriving at 15:30 at our destination. The company has decided to provide us with a hotel and transfer, which we accepted because it would be difficult to wait an additional 7 hours at the airport after the previous layover. However, this does not fully address the disruptions this causes us professionally, personally, in terms of health (my husband had a kidney colic during our stay in Lanzarote and requires medical supervision), and with all the commitments we had made assuming the company would fulfill its contractual obligations. Therefore, I request that the company reconsider granting us a partial or full refund for each ticket issued under the booking code PIVWCY, taking into account the considerations of European airspace law regarding passengers' rights. I have a flight booked from Boston to Barcelona via Madrid on Thursday, August 11. Due to a family sickness, I need to change the flight from Madrid to Barcelona to Madrid to Nice on August 12.
I must express my dissatisfaction with the booking process. Originally, your system only allowed me to book an economy fare, despite my willingness to pay for a Premium Economy ticket. After contacting Iberia, I was informed that I could upgrade to Premium Economy for the Madrid to Boston and Boston to Madrid legs for an additional $[redacted]. Unfortunately, I was not provided with an itinerary or invoice for this upgrade. To make matters worse, the Premium Economy service was subpar, with minimal food and drink offerings.
I have attempted to reach out to customer service without success and am now in Boston, struggling to connect with a representative. Due to these issues, I regret having booked with Iberia and will not be doing so in the future.

Terrible Experience with Airline
My spouse, two kids, and elderly mother traveled from Tel Aviv to Dallas via Madrid with IBERIA on 19.07.[redacted]. Despite booking through American Airlines, the flight was operated by IBERIA. In Madrid, they faced a 5-minute boarding delay and were denied boarding by IBERIA staff, leaving them stranded. After major struggles, they managed to fly to Dallas on 07.22.[redacted] but their luggage did not arrive. Despite efforts, both airlines, American and IBERIA, were uncooperative in locating the luggage. They were given the runaround with no ticket numbers for inquiries. Despite having luggage barcode numbers, reaching out for help proved futile as the airlines claimed they missed the 7-day deadline for reporting. Frustrated by the lack of assistance and empathy, we are at a loss on how to retrieve our belongings.

My Iberia Plus number is IB [redacted]2, and I have a Business Class ticket reservation for Sept 10, [redacted], with booking number 4482SA. Unfortunately, my travel agent at Midland Travel in Guayaquil, Ecuador, mistakenly booked my return flight for Oct 15th from Dubrovnik, Croatia, instead of Oct 24 or 25. I feel pressured and misinformed about the situation. The travel agent states that changing the date will cost $[redacted] due to the holidays in Ecuador. I am writing to report an incident during my recent travel from Seville to Madrid on August 10, [redacted]. Upon boarding flight IB3949 to Madrid, I was asked to surrender my small suitcase (cabin bag) due to limited space. The bag was tagged with reference number IB151823 and I was assured it would be returned to me upon arrival.
Unfortunately, upon reaching Madrid, my bag was missing from the carousel after a 2-hour wait. I promptly reported the issue at the Iberia baggage loss desk and was given reference number MADIB64644. Despite assurances of delivery within 72 hours, it has now been almost two weeks with no updates or communication from Iberia. Each day I check World Tracer, only to see that the search is ongoing.
The situation has left me stranded without access to my belongings, including crucial house keys. I have been relying on friends for accommodation as a result. I urge Iberia to intensify their efforts to locate my missing bag promptly.

We had a booking for flights from MAD to LON (VACG18) that was canceled on 24/8/22. We agreed to the suggested rebooking for the new time of 15.45. However, we noticed that our seat reservations (receipt nos [redacted][redacted]/4) made for the original flight do not seem to have carried over to the new flights. We are concerned about this and would like confirmation that our seat reservation payments have been transferred to the new flight. Hello, I am writing to seek help regarding my missing luggage. On 13 July [redacted], my luggage did not arrive at Bilbao airport as expected. I promptly reported this and received a PIR form along with a reference number. Despite being informed by Iberia Airlines on 8 August that my luggage had been found and would be returned to Sydney, where I was walking the Camino del Norte, I have yet to receive it. However, as of today (11 September), when trying to file an online claim for my lost luggage, I keep encountering an error stating that the entered data is incorrect. I had a challenging experience with a worker at Sevilla airport while boarding my flight to Madrid. I had heavy film equipment and a laptop in my bag, which I needed to keep with me, but the worker insisted I check it. Despite explaining I could store it under the seat, she made me take out the fragile equipment and carry it, leaving me to pick up my small carry-on at my final destination after passing through four layovers. On September 1st, I flew to Costa Rica with a connection through Madrid. The first flight was with Iberia to Madrid, where I had to self-transfer to the flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Unfortunately, my phone died upon arrival in Madrid. When I approached the Iberia counter for assistance regarding my next flight, an employee mistakenly informed me that my ticket was canceled. Despite my insistence that I had not received any notification about a cancellation and showing my reservation, I was advised to purchase a new ticket. I reluctantly bought a new ticket for €[redacted].27. This incident caused me unnecessary stress and financial burden. I received another passenger's bag by mistake from Air Iberia. Despite multiple contact attempts, I was instructed to return it to Heathrow airport to resolve the issue. Subsequently, I was advised to claim reimbursement for my travel expenses, but my request was denied after two months of waiting. I am concerned about a situation involving a pilot named Perico Duran de Inclan, who has informed me that his real name is Michael Luca and the Perico profile is for promotional purposes. Despite this, there are multiple social media profiles using the same information from the Perico profile. Michael Luca has been blackmailing and threatening me for over a month, utilizing private photos and videos to demand large sums of money via bitcoin. I refused, prompting threats to expose the materials to my workplace, family, and social contacts. After claiming to have lost his phone while working in Greece, Michael continued his demands for money, with the most recent request being $[redacted] via bitcoin. Upon refusing and ending our communication, I received another threatening email on 11/23/22. I felt it necessary to inform Liberia Airlines about this situation, as it appears that either someone is impersonating one of your pilots or there is concerning misconduct by a pilot.

My daughter-in-law and grandson were supposed to travel from Cuba to the UK on Monday via Madrid. Unfortunately, they were denied boarding citing insufficient documentation. Despite having valid passports and 5-year EU Visas, they were not allowed to fly. My daughter-in-law was assured by the British Embassy in Havana that their current travel documents were sufficient. I am confused as to why they faced this issue when they had all the required paperwork.

I booked a flight to Spain with American Airlines as we are AA members. Due to two schedule changes by Iberia within one week, I had to cancel the second leg of my trip for two senior passengers and opted for a simpler round trip. The issue I raised was related to the significant delay of flight number [redacted] from Tel Aviv to Madrid on December 14, [redacted], leading to a 1.5-hour delay and subsequently being denied boarding on flight [redacted].
