My wife purchased a patio set and had it delivered. On Friday, a delivery driver in a Ryder truck brought it to our house, but unfortunately ran over our empty garbage can on the way out. Despite being nearby, he didn't bother to move it and even chuckled about it. I called customer service to get a replacement can immediately, but was told I had to wait until next week. After a long wait on hold, they said they could only file a claim on Home Depot's insurance and that I'd have to wait until Monday for further assistance. Frustrated by the lack of urgency and poor service, I expressed my disappointment to the supervisor. I plan to buy a new can from Home Depot myself tomorrow, using my Home Depot credit card. Very disappointed in Home Depot's customer service and lack of accountability.

Yesterday, on 4/14/19, we visited your store looking to purchase one of your kitchen suites as advertised. I had previously contacted customer service to inquire about substituting the refrigerator for a smaller 33" one and was assured it would be possible. However, my experience at the Kingston Pike HD location in Knoxville was disappointing. The saleswoman I dealt with was uninterested and unwilling to accommodate our request. Frustrated by the lack of assistance, we decided to take our business elsewhere and ended up purchasing from Lowes instead. It's disappointing to see such a missed opportunity for a sale due to poor customer service.

Hello customer representatives, I bought a Ryobi battery-powered weed whacker in [redacted]. The battery failed after minimal use, so I sought warranty repair from Ryobi. Upon checking the serial number, it showed the product was made in [redacted]. To validate the purchase date, they requested the receipt, which I couldn't provide. I tried to retrieve the purchase information at Home Depot using various credit card numbers, but nothing was found due to a card replacement after a possible system hack. Despite the lack of proof, I distinctly remember purchasing the product just before my husband's stroke. I am disappointed with the outdated model sold to me and the frequent battery issues reported. As a loyal customer who frequently shops for my business needs at your store, I am hoping for your assistance in exchanging this product for a new one. Looking forward to your response.

On 04-06-[redacted], I purchased lumber from a store. They mistakenly sent double the amount I ordered. After many attempts, the managers, Manda and Marina, assured me that they would refund $[redacted] to my Amex card. They also previously mentioned that they wouldn't charge me $75 for the pick-up due to an error on their part, but today, they denied this. Despite recorded calls, they continue to be untruthful, even about sending me an email. I bought [redacted] pieces at $29 each, totaling $[redacted] with a $75 delivery fee. Now, they claim any refund will only be $[redacted] to $[redacted]. I am considering involving the courts or American Express and will caution others to shop elsewhere. I request transcripts of my interactions with Manda and Marina on 08, 09, and 18.

I would like to address an issue regarding the parking situation at [redacted] Lone Tree Way in Brentwood, CA [redacted]. When I first moved to Brentwood, there were fewer workers in the parking lot. Recently, I visited to buy flowers but couldn't find a space near the nursery. I attempted to park towards the end of the lot, only to see numerous workers occupying most of the spaces. This made me uncomfortable, so I left for Lowe's instead. I'm puzzled why there are so many workers gathered there throughout the day. Typically, people seek assistance in the morning until around 2pm. The constant solicitations for work, especially during winter, are unsettling. The crowd seems to be growing daily, making me hesitant to visit Home Depot. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly to prevent any further issues from arising.

After purchasing engineered hardwood flooring from Home Depot, the installation process hit a snag when the installer warned about potential hazards due to the flooring being too high. Concerned for the safety of my family, especially with grandchildren and a son recovering from a stroke, I decided to cancel the installation. Unfortunately, I was charged a restocking fee. The installer faced backlash from a sales associate when advising the cancellation, impacting the smooth removal of the carpet and resulting in broken tiles that needed extra expenses to fix. Despite ordering a new porcelain floor, the confusion arose when the store failed to issue a proper receipt, opting to adjust pricing instead. Numerous attempts to obtain a correct receipt have been futile, with promises of callbacks unfulfilled. The delay has left me in limbo with furniture displaced and the house in disarray. Seeking a resolution, I have contacted the store manager and various department personnel but to no avail. I urgently request a full refund, including restocking fees and compensation for the collateral damage caused during the failed installation process.

Order WD[redacted]3 was placed on May 3, and I just received tracking number [redacted]. The delivery is intended for the Rome, Georgia store, not my home as I specified during the order. Despite notifying the store, the mistake was repeated. I am also having trouble accessing my account information to rectify the error. Additionally, there seems to be confusion about an order from [redacted], which is unrelated. The lack of personal service and inability to address customer requests promptly is frustrating. My main concern is that the current order is not directed to my home as instructed. It is disappointing not to receive the service and attention required to resolve this issue efficiently.

I am disappointed with the lack of assistance I've received from the Assistant Manager at the Lewisville, TX store. Despite being promised a refund for two significant errors made by the store, the mistakes have caused me considerable inconvenience. The delays have affected my work schedule and coordination with my neighbors and contractor for fence repairs. Despite assurances from the Assistant Manager that the fence supplies would be delivered on a specific Saturday morning, the delivery did not arrive as planned. This situation has repeated itself previously, causing frustration and wasted time. Now, I am left having to reschedule for a third time, inconveniencing my neighbors once again. I believe Home Depot should compensate me for the stress and difficulties their mistakes have caused, preferably in the form of a gift card. It's important that Home Depot acknowledges and takes responsibility for the multiple errors that have negatively impacted me and those involved in the repair process.

Upon my return home yesterday in the pouring rain, I discovered my $1,[redacted] vanity left in a soaked cardboard box on my driveway. After contacting Clint Modica, he mentioned their delivery service includes driveway deliveries. Despite my enclosed front porch being only 8 ft away and providing better shelter, the vanity was left out. I requested them to pick it up due to the damage, which they agreed to do in approximately 5 days. Disappointed by Home Depot's handling of the situation, I've decided this will be my final purchase from them. Lowes offers more competitive prices as well.

In Ukiah, California, I was at a store closing at 9 p.m. on March 8th. While grabbing twine at the lumber yard, I left my paperwork and wallet at the table. Someone took my wallet containing $[redacted]. Despite the incident being caught on tape, the store staff has not cooperated or taken action for over 26 hours, leading me to consider hiring a lawyer. I am prepared to file a police report and subpoena the store if necessary. The specific incident occurred on May 8th, [redacted], at 9:12 p.m., involving a red-headed Home Depot employee. I am disappointed by the lack of cooperation and professionalism displayed by the Home Depot team. I urge for a resolution soon, or legal action will be pursued to address the theft and retrieve my wallet.

I purchased siding from Home Depot and scheduled installation through their services. However, the work crew took three months to begin, and the materials were delivered a month early, requiring me to keep an eye on them. The initial crew only wrapped a small section of my house, neglecting most of it. After a second crew replaced them, my stepping stones were stolen during the project. Despite promises of a bill reduction, none has been made. I have evidence to support my claims, but the local Home Depot has ceased communication apart from assuring me that their manager will contact me. My elderly husband and I encounter health issues, rearranged schedules, and have gone to great lengths for this project. We are fatigued and financially constrained on our fixed income. I'm requesting a fair reduction considering the circumstances and the $[redacted] bill. It raises concerns about the treatment of the elderly and adherence to promises by Home Depot.

In [redacted], I purchased a home and received Home Depot gift cards for Mother's Day as I love their plants. However, some of the plants didn't grow, and some died after planting. Last year, landscapers planted bushes for me, and three of them died as well. I heard that Home Depot plants can be returned, but I don't have the plants anymore. I have the proof of purchase, but no products to return. What can be done, Home Depot?

I recently had a door and doorway constructed and installed by a Home Depot contractor. The job was left incomplete without prior notice, and the surrounding area was not prepped properly, resulting in damage to my front exterior wall. After voicing my concerns, the store manager initially offered a $[redacted] gift card, which I found insufficient as no contractor accepts payment in gift cards. Subsequently, they issued another $[redacted] gift card and suggested I use a contractor of their choosing, an impractical solution. Despite my refusal, they sent me the card and incorrectly closed the complaint file stating I had accepted it. After returning both gift cards, I was informed I would receive a check for the same amount. However, I received a second gift card instead. When I declined again and requested a check, they altered the offer, stating I could only receive cash if I provided them with an estimate equal to the gift card value, a condition I found unacceptable. The total cost to rectify all issues and repaint my house is $[redacted], as documented in the work order. I am seeking resolution and hope for prompt contact to arrange payment for the necessary work.

We are facing challenges with flooring installation at the Rialto, California Home Depot. We initially ordered vinyl flooring, had measurements taken, and prepared the space. Upon flooring arrival, the installer mentioned the floor was not level, causing a delay. We returned the flooring and opted for carpeting instead. However, the carpet installer mentioned not using wooden molding between the carpet and ceramic tile. The local store was out of stock, leading to additional waiting time. With our home in disarray, furniture displaced, and no clear solution, we feel stuck. Despite requesting a different installer visit to assess the situation, Home Depot indicates they only work with one installer. This process has been ongoing for weeks, leaving us feeling discouraged.

Hello, my name is Lisa Rodgers, and I am seeking information on applying for community and individual grants. I have a community project in Fort Collins, Colorado, focused on a generational family. I recently met Mrs. Ruiz, a deceased war hero Purple Heart recipient, survived by her daughter and grandchildren, whom the neighborhood lovingly calls Grandma. Her house has suffered severe damage, notably a gaping hole in the roof exposing the sky. Despite her upbeat spirit, she has been using the living room couch as her bed due to the other damages. Her late husband purchased this mobile home for their family after the war, but since his passing, they lacked the means to maintain it. With the help of Home Depot, the Hickory Village Mobile Home Park residents, Vineyard Church of the Rockies, and a local resource called 6.8, we managed to patch the roof and address some of the damages. Now, my new project involves applying for grants to replace Mrs. Ruiz's home, ensuring her well-being. I am collaborating with mobile home distributors and seeking sponsorship to cover the costs of a new home, including lot rent, taxes, and other fees. It's heartwarming to see the community unite in times of need. Please reach out to me, Lisa Rodgers, at [redacted] S Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO [redacted] or via email at [redacted] or phone at [redacted].

There is a need for community and individual grants for the day shelter at [redacted] South Lincoln Ave, Loveland, Colorado, known as [redacted] Connect Day Shelter. They require supplies including work-related tools, necessary products, AAA batteries, blankets, mosquito repellent spray, razors, bike repair tools, a new building, hair buzzers, paper towels, cleaning products, trash bags, blinds, and a makeover for the shelter. It would be uplifting to add plants to brighten up the space as it plays a crucial role in the community by supporting homeless individuals and running community projects. The day shelter is the heart of the town, where people come together to help those in need. Thank you for your continued support in the community.

I am experiencing significant challenges with the flooring installation process at the Rialto, California Home Depot. We initially ordered vinyl flooring, had the measurements taken, and cleared the areas for installation. However, upon the flooring's arrival, the installer stated that it couldn't be installed due to an uneven floor - a detail not mentioned during the measurement. After returning the vinyl, we opted for carpeting instead. But now, the carpet installer informed us that he doesn't use wooden molding for carpet-ceramic tile transitions to match the existing installation. This has led to a delay as the necessary wood molding is not in stock and needs to be ordered.
Our house has been disrupted for weeks with furniture moved around and items packed away. Despite our request for a different installer to address the situation, Home Depot has only one available. We are feeling frustrated by the ongoing delays and the installer's reluctance to visit our home for a better assessment. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I am sharing my experience at your Altoona store in Pennsylvania. Around 4 pm today, I struggled to find assistance in the electrical and paint departments. Thankfully, a kind employee named Rhonda noticed me and offered help. She went above and beyond, even locating a discontinued light fixture with no SKU or tags. Rhonda, who I later learned is your HR person, enlisted the help of Jim to retrieve the light, both of them displaying exceptional customer service. Not only did she find a box and a screwdriver, but she also uncovered a hidden SKU number and efficiently checked us out at the self-service register due to a lack of cashiers. Despite the long lines, Rhonda's assistance was invaluable, especially as I find self-checkouts challenging at times. I want to recognize Rhonda and Jim for their dedication and positivity in their roles. It's a testament to your store's commitment to quality service and employee satisfaction. Additionally, kudos to the ladies I've seen assisting with loading mulch - impressive teamwork all around.

Subject: Concerns Regarding Recent Refrigerator Purchase
Dear Home Depot Leadership Team,
I would like to bring to your attention some issues I have been experiencing with a Samsung refrigerator (Model # RF26HFENDSR) that I purchased from The Home Depot in July [redacted], along with a protection plan. On the day of delivery, there were delays and the deliverymen were disrespectful, which was disappointing. Subsequently, I encountered problems with water accumulation in the drawers causing food spoilage, leading me to stop using one of the drawers. Despite contacting Home Depot for service under the protection plan, I was informed by a representative that the warranty was no longer valid, and there was no record of my refrigerator or service agreement. The situation has escalated with the freezer now frosting over completely.
As a long-time customer, I expect efficient and reliable service. I am seeking resolution promptly as the functionality of the refrigerator is crucial for my family's wellbeing. I trust that you will address this matter promptly. Please see the attached images for reference.
Thank you for your attention and assistance.
Sincerely,
Talana Bradley

I recently visited the Tiffany Springs Home Depot store to rent a plumbing snake. Once home, I realized the Allen screw needed to change the bit was stripped. After trying to remove it, I decided to return the machine. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke to couldn't help and I was still charged for the rental. This is the second time this has occurred in three months, and I am now hesitant to rent anything from Home Depot in the future. It seems like there is a lack of maintenance and care for rental equipment, as well as a disregard for customer feedback regarding issues.
