I work as a professional with Handy, and I feel they have not paid me correctly. I have been attempting to reach a supervisor, but I have not been given a contact number. My concern is that Handy promised a $[redacted].00 bonus after completing 4 qualifying jobs. I finished 3 jobs, and on the fourth job, the customer had 3 items to assemble. I finished 2 items, but the third was missing a piece that hadn't arrived, unbeknownst to the customer. When I realized that I didn't receive the $[redacted].00 bonus, I contacted Handy to inquire about it. They claimed the fourth job was a no-show and that I didn't complete any work. I pointed out that there were notes in their system with my arrival and departure times. Initially, they agreed that I had completed the job and said they would process the payment, but then they reversed this decision and went back to calling it a no-show. I've sent over 10 emails asking to speak with a supervisor, but I have not had any success.

I am quite frustrated. I completed 6 jobs for a quest, expecting to receive a $[redacted] bonus as shown on the quest tab. I accepted jobs I wouldn't normally do just to qualify for the bonus. Now, I am being told that one job didn't count towards the bonus because the furniture was already assembled when I arrived. However, they fail to realize that I had to disassemble and reassemble it correctly because it was done incorrectly before. The fact that this job is not being considered for the bonus is illogical. I would appreciate if someone could review this matter as I took on extra jobs specifically to earn the bonus, and now I am being told I didn't complete this job when I certainly did.

I encountered an issue with the App last Friday. It erroneously showed that I had checked in and out at specific times, which distorted the actual situation. I promptly informed the customer about my delayed arrival due to a freeway closure on Saturday. It is disappointing that my payment was processed despite my efforts, especially considering the adverse weather conditions. It feels unjust for the payment to be deducted in this manner. The customer and I even discussed potential future work outside the Handy app and exchanged contact details. I strongly believe that I deserve fair compensation for the work I completed.

I have been in contact with Handy for two weeks, but we have not resolved the issue. I am requesting a *full refund* to my credit card immediately. I had a cleaning scheduled on September 9th, but it did not meet my expectations. Despite specific requests, certain tasks were not completed, such as cleaning blinds, wiping doors, and dusting floorboards. Some areas were untouched, like two rooms not being vacuumed or dusted. The fridge was not cleaned thoroughly, and the cleaner left early without completing the job properly. I am very disappointed and would like a complete refund. I have decided not to take on any more work through Handy, but I am concerned about how I was informed of my deactivation. I had built genuine connections with the people I worked with and want to ensure that any jobs left on my schedule weren't completed, or for the clients I did work for who appreciated my service, there will be no negative repercussions. Despite legal agreements, it's important for workers to be given explanations directly. My deactivation stemmed from a customer's misunderstanding of the cancellation process. I would appreciate not only an explanation but also the $50 cancellation fee that I was charged previously for a last-minute cancellation. Recently, I was in a car accident, which further hindered my ability to complete my tasks. My main concern moving forward is maintaining relationships with the clients I've gained through the app.

I arranged for computer assistance for my disabled son. The original technician was unavailable and a replacement was provided, with an appointment set for tomorrow at 3 pm. I have specific requirements for the skills needed for the job. I received a picture of the substitute technician, and it raised some concerns due to a previous negative experience my son had with a technician. I have been waiting for one of five payments from Handy to transfer to my bank account for the last six business days. Despite contacting them by phone, I was informed that the issue was not on their end and that my information has remained the same since the 27th of last month when they successfully transferred a payment. However, I have yet to receive any payments. I am currently stranded in a city without funds for food or gas to get home, having gone without food for nearly three days. I urgently need Handy to review and correct any errors in my banking information so the pending transfers can go through and I can finally head home.

Hello, my name is Kimberly Grubbs. I recently joined the Handy Pro app. I completed five jobs but only received payment for one so far. My last client and I rescheduled for the following day, which was also the first job I got charged for. Although I have been punctual for all my appointments, my account was inexplicably deactivated on the day of the rescheduled job. Despite this, I continued to receive notifications for upcoming jobs. I believe there may be an issue or bug with the app causing this problem. I am seeking assistance to reactivate my account and ensure I receive payment for the work I have done promptly. I have been receiving notifications about quests instead of job postings. After reaching out for two days, a job was finally posted, but with the incorrect pay. It feels like an attempt to deceive me. Why should anyone be dealing with frustration at 3:00 am due to these issues? This behavior goes against the law. Please stop causing trouble for people. I am not just a customer, but a hardworking individual.

I attempted to schedule an appointment with Home Advisor yesterday with Alvaro, but I needed a code to proceed. Unfortunately, the code did not show up in my email. Ella (#[redacted]) mentioned it might take a few hours, but it has already been 24 hours with no code. Alvaro warned that the code would only be valid for a couple of minutes, so the delay is concerning. I had a lengthy conversation with Alvaro because my Home Advisor email address was incorrect even after an attempted correction. I will reach out to Alvaro to address this issue. - Daniel Z.

I'm frustrated with the delay in receiving my final payment for job #[redacted]5 electrical work. I completed an additional 10 hours at the customer's request, which Handy has verified. Despite their confirmation, I have not received the payment for this extra work. The payment being referenced keeps getting linked to job #[redacted]2 for 13 hours. I contacted job support twice about a negative experience at a cleaning job I completed. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response. Later, I was informed that I didn't perform well, which is untrue. The customer was rude, disrespectful, and even asked me to move her furniture, which was not part of the agreement. Despite reaching out promptly, I feel unheard and now I'm facing consequences due to the customer's false claims. On December 8th, I completed a job for $81, assembling furniture. However, the service provider is claiming I didn't show up due to lateness, which I dispute. I received a text on December 19th at 5:25 pm stating the job was canceled by the customer because of my lateness. I am concerned about not getting paid for the work I completed and want to ensure I am not being unfairly charged. The service provider has not been reliable in resolving my previous concerns, so I hope to find a resolution to this issue.

My account got deactivated after a claim and is currently under investigation. They informed me that my account will stay deactivated until the process is completed. They assured me that they would contact me with any updates. However, it has been a month, and I haven't received any communication from them. I relied on this platform for cleaning houses and earning income. Suddenly losing access to my account, clients, and source of income without an explanation is distressing. I conducted myself professionally, and I've heard of other Clients facing similar issues with this platform. I simply need clarification on the reason behind the deactivation of my account.

Two days ago, I had a scheduled job where I picked up the material but had to return it due to the rain preventing me from completing the delivery. Despite resolving the missed job fee with a pro service agent on the app and receiving a refund, I was surprised to find out last night that my account was being terminated for that missed job. I had planned to complete the delivery today, and my attempts to reach out for clarification through email have been unsuccessful as my account is already terminated. The agents I chatted with on the app could only express their apologies without providing further details. It's frustrating since my performance on the app was good, and my ratings were high. It's disappointing to be let go like this.

I had a daybed assembled by a Wayfair contractor who accidentally cut the mattress but did not notify me. Additionally, he did not follow Covid-19 safety protocols outlined by Handy.com. This is concerning as I am immunocompromised. I have contacted Wayfair with a complaint and provided photos of the damage. It is clear that the workers from Handy.com do not meet the expected quality. Consequently, I have lost trust in Handy.com's representatives and wish to cancel an upcoming cleaning service, seeking a full refund. Hello, I have a furniture assembly scheduled for tomorrow for a dining table. Today, I opened the packages and found that 3 required pieces are missing. I contacted Amazon and they reached out to the distributor. The missing essential pieces of the table base will be sent, but no specific date was provided. Due to this issue, I've canceled the assembly request with Thomas for tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Once I receive the missing parts, I will reschedule the assembly with Handy. I'm a professional handyman and I've been experiencing multiple issues. I've noticed jobs on my calendar in different states that I haven't accepted, faced problems setting up my payments, and despite sending numerous emails, nothing has been resolved. I've even had to receive checks a couple of times. To add to this, there's a $65 missed job charge from 2 weeks ago on my payment section, even though I never missed a job. I am very disappointed with the lack of reliability from Handy's housecleaning service. Out of the five scheduled cleanings, only two cleaners arrived on time. Today, I rushed home for my appointment, but no one showed up for the third time. I received an email saying it was rescheduled for Monday, which does not work for me. I'm requesting a refund of the $[redacted] charged to my card yesterday and wish to cancel the service entirely. I refuse to pay any cancellation fees due to the service's unreliability compared to what was promised. I believe having only 40% of scheduled cleanings fulfilled justifies canceling the plan without additional charges.
