I am having trouble with my printer due to an ink error. Is there a way to set it to black ink only? I need to print shipping labels and not being able to do so is getting expensive. I bought this printer at Office Depot specifically for this purpose. I have tried different troubleshooting methods, including using generic ink, but nothing has worked. I have searched for solutions online and have contacted Office Depot for assistance without any luck. If the issue is with the generic ink after investing in this printer, it will be very frustrating as I did not plan on purchasing colored ink. I have always been able to print using only black ink in other printers I have used.

I purchased an HP Pavilion g7-1365dx notebook PC with Windows 7 Home from Best Buy on 5th Avenue, near 44th Street in Manhattan, New York, USA in February [redacted]. I am currently experiencing difficulties rebooting the system and require recovery DVDs. The laptop's serial number is 5CD2014NHK, and the product number is [redacted], with the product key being [redacted]. Could you please assist me in obtaining the recovery DVDs? My C4780 printer produces a machine-gun-like sound when turned on and starting to print, even though it initially prints fine. Despite attempting to fix the issue by lubricating the printhead's rod and cleaning the ink gunk, the sound persists. During printing, the top half of the page appears low on ink, with the bottom half even worse. Is my C4780 printer beyond repair and should I consider disposing of it?

I've been encountering a persistent issue while attempting to upgrade my HP [redacted]-[redacted] from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. The upgrade consistently reaches 85%, then restarts, reverting me back to the Windows 8.1 login screen without completion. Despite my efforts to update all drivers, disable virus protection, and turn off Windows Firewall, the problem persists. HP's website confirms that both my computer and operating system are compatible with the upgrade, but the process simply does not succeed.

I have identified the issue as being related to the graphics. I prefer not to replace my laptop due to the valuable software installed. I am considering buying a new processor and motherboard. I prefer not to purchase second-hand parts. I am located in the UK and I am looking for options to either buy locally or have the items shipped. Can I purchase these directly from HP? I have come across information suggesting I can upgrade from my current AMD Athlon II P320 processor to the AMD Athlon II N370 processor. I am curious if this upgrade is possible without any additional modifications, and if so, can I purchase the new processor from HP as well?

Yesterday, my computer froze and directed me to a screen stating, "Your PC needs updates, please wait while we install them for you." Subsequently, the screen reaches [redacted]% loading and transitions to another blue screen indicating I lack the necessary installation devices to proceed. It's important to note that my computer lacks a CD port, and I failed to create a recovery disk. Despite thorough exploration of the settings, I am unable to locate a restart option.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am Cambodian and own a shop in Phnom Penh, as well as being a wholesaler for technology products in Cambodia under my brother's company, Modern Center Technology. I am interested in becoming a product distribution agent for your company in Cambodia. I speak Vietnamese fluently, which is why I would like to purchase some products (HP printers and laptops) from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to sell in Cambodia. Could you please provide me with the email or phone number of your office in Ho Chi Minh City? Thank you.

I attempted to use my laptop to work on an essay, and while it was working without issues the previous night, it now fails to start. Upon turning it on, it displays a message stating "preparing automatic repair" under the HP logo for around 5 minutes. Subsequently, a blank black screen appears for about 15 minutes followed by a blue screen indicating that the repair was not completed and that it will restart the repair process. Unfortunately, the message disappears too quickly for me to read the entire content. The cycle of automatic restarts continues, and I am unable to access safe mode or resolve the issue by restarting the device. I am also unable to restore it to factory settings. Keeping in mind the important documents and photos stored on the laptop, I am concerned about losing this data with no means of recovery.

Hello, I am having an issue with the new battery I purchased last week for my HP m6 1205dx Notebook PC. When attempting to charge it, my computer indicates that it is at [redacted]% but not charging. I have tried updating the battery driver through Device Manager, but it indicates that the driver is already installed. Additionally, I attempted to update it through other driver updating programs, but none were successful. Can you please advise on how to resolve this problem? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you. - A.S.

I am experiencing issues with the battery life on my Spectre x360 i7. Despite adjusting power settings and closing unnecessary programs, I am only able to achieve around 6-7 hours of battery life instead of the advertised 12.5 hours. I have sought assistance on the HP forums to no avail. My device is still under warranty.

I have recently purchased an Officejet [redacted] with a built-in scanner. The document-feeder scanner works fine, but the flatbed scanner is extremely slow. The light bar moves at a significantly slower pace than on my previous printer. The scanner software appears to freeze for an extended period, potentially an hour or more, when loading the Overview scan into the scanner interface. This causes my computer to become overloaded, making it difficult to use as the CPU and RAM are overwhelmed. A screenshot of the issue is available for reference. From, Bryan L.

I'm having issues printing from my HP Photosmart [redacted] printer. It has been functioning well for a few years. Recently, after switching to a Time Warner router due to my previous one failing, the printing problems began. Time Warner support connected the printer to the new router but could only manage to print once. The service person printed out the Diagnostic Results and HP Configuration Page. The suggestion given was to reach out to HP Customer Service for further assistance.

After replacing the bad hard drive on my Pavilion g7-1368dx, I used HP's recovery discs to restore it, but I'm having trouble with Windows Update. Despite trying Microsoft's troubleshooting tool, the issue persists. I suspect there might be a problem with the recovery discs from HP, causing Windows Update to malfunction. I've even reinstalled the recovery discs, but the problem remains. How can I fix this issue? Thank you, William Bayne Model: Pavilion g7-1368DX Serial: 6CF2171WQ6

Hello, a few weeks ago I contacted HP regarding computer issues. Instead of reaching HP, I was connected to VG Tech Support. I paid $[redacted].00 for lifetime computer help and $[redacted].00 for added security due to a previous scam incident in March. I learned that VG Tech Support is affiliated with HP, but I've heard mixed reviews about its legitimacy. Can you confirm their association with HP and explain why I was directed to them? I'm curious if there are any additional charges for this service. Thank you, Dolores R.

I want to express my frustration with the service provided by your company, HP. I purchased an HP notebook on May 1, [redacted], and have been facing issues with it since day one. After contacting customer care on May 4, [redacted], a technician was sent on May 8, [redacted]. The technician inspected the laptop but was unable to fix it. I was informed that the laptop would be replaced, but as of May 11, [redacted], I have not received any confirmation. I am disappointed with the delay as my studies and projects are on hold due to this situation. I request a replacement today as I cannot afford to continue using this faulty laptop. If there is no resolution by the end of the day, I will have to escalate this matter on social media and consider legal action.

I encountered a frustrating issue with my laptop, losing Wi-Fi connection suddenly. Attempting to reconnect, I found only an Ethernet option available. Despite various troubleshooting efforts, including restarts and reboots, the Wi-Fi option reappeared but failed to connect, prompting manual intervention. After trying repeatedly without success, the laptop now indicates Wi-Fi is on but lacks internet access, while my phone remains connected. Even after rebooting the router, the laptop still fails to access the internet, leaving me at a loss for solutions. This problem has become quite disruptive, and I am seeking advice to resolve it promptly, as resorting to sitting close to the router with a short cable is far from ideal during family dinner times.

I contacted last night on 5/19/18 at approximately 7:00 P.M. and spoke with William who was assisting me with setting up my [redacted] all-in-one printer. He identified a reason why it was offline on my computer and mentioned he would consult his supervisor to resolve the issue at no cost due to my current financial challenges. I am facing substantial monthly expenses of over $[redacted].00 for medication, on top of more than $[redacted] for one insulin and nearly $75.00 for another insulin. Additionally, my brother is critically ill in the hospital. William mentioned he would return my call by 7:30 P.M., but I did not receive a callback. I have uninstalled all applications related to your company's Ultra View but am still unable to use my phone. I require your assistance in rectifying the problem caused by your company.

I am writing to address the issue I encountered last night around 7:00 P.M. I was having trouble with my printer being offline and contacted customer support. A technician named William assisted me and promised to call back within half an hour. However, it has been over 21 hours since our conversation, and I have not heard back. Unfortunately, I have been without a phone since William's visit at 7:00 P.M., and this has caused me considerable distress as I have a sick brother in the hospital. I am relying on my landline, which cannot receive text messages. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Yesterday, on 5-27-18, I contacted an HP support number, 1-[redacted], to set up my new HP Officejet [redacted]. The person who answered picked up instantly, which I found unusual. After helping me with the printer, he called me back in 40 minutes from a different number and claimed my computer had multiple issues like [redacted] virus infections, a Zeus Trojan virus, corrupted system drivers, and [redacted] Malware problems. He then suggested technical support plans for a fee. Feeling uneasy, I asked for his name (Richie) without getting his last name and requested control of my computer back. The number he used to call me back was [redacted]. I am now worried about the security of my computer and privacy.

I purchased a printer around 6 months ago and encountered issues setting up the instant ink from the beginning. After multiple phone calls, a replacement printer with instant ink was provided. Roughly 5 weeks ago, the new printer began to have issues, mainly showing a cartridge problem and only partially printing. Even with a replacement cartridge, the problem persists, leading to frustration as I couldn't rely on the printer for university work and resorted to paid printing services instead of using my prepaid instant ink subscription. I kindly ask for assistance in resolving these continuous issues. If a resolution is not feasible, I would appreciate a refund for the printer and reimbursement for the unused instant ink payments from the last two months. Thank you, Amanda.
