I'm in a complicated situation regarding my taxes. I usually file as single with a dependent, which has been consistent for 10 years. Due to an error made by my local tax representative in East End, Arkansas, my tax refund was delayed as my direct deposit information was incorrect. This delay caused me to miss a car payment resulting in the possibility of repossession. Despite paying for the direct deposit service with my refund, the manager is only offering a discount for next year's tax return preparation fees. I submitted my tax return through H&R Block approximately two weeks ago. I have consistently used direct deposit for the past 6 years without any problems. However, I have recently discovered that the banking and routing information listed for my [redacted] refund is incorrect, which has caused me significant concern. With the distribution of stimulus checks approaching, and as an unemployed individual relying on this money, it is crucial that this issue is rectified promptly.
Although my tax advisor was helpful throughout the initial process, communication abruptly ceased when I raised the matter of the erroneous banking details post-submission. Despite my oversight in reviewing the information accurately, I am surprised by this error given my long history of successful direct deposits with H&R Block. My husband and I are using the Deluxe Federal and one State program.
I recently converted my entire traditional IRA account to a Roth IRA. However, I noticed that the [redacted]-R form I received characterizes the conversion as a totally taxable amount, while also indicating that the "taxable amount not determined".
I have Form [redacted] from [redacted] which shows that at least some of the amount on the [redacted]-R was basis and should not be taxable. The tax program I am using does not have a specific place to indicate this and I am unsure where to enter the amount of the basis from the traditional IRA.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the effort you are putting into addressing my issue.
Regarding my tax refund, I have been monitoring the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool. Initially, there were colored bars indicating my return was accepted. Later, it showed my refund was still processing without any bars.
Now, when I enter my details, it states there is no information available. I e-filed on February 12th with confirmation number [redacted][redacted].
I am aware many others who filed around the same time are in a similar situation. Any update you can offer would be greatly appreciated by me and others waiting anxiously.

I bought the H&R Block Deluxe Federal and State online download software for $31.99. Unfortunately, I've tried six times to download it without success. I've called three times and waited on hold for 60 minutes each, but I can't get through to speak to anyone. I've used H&R Block for the past 7 years, but this time I couldn't download my [redacted] files or find the 5 e-files included in my purchase. The activation code they keep sending me doesn't work, and I'm unable to select another e-file. It's frustrating because I don't see what I paid for. I want a refund since I can't access the software. I spoke with the local H&R Block office, but they couldn't assist because they're not part of the same company. It's disappointing that H&R Block seems to be letting people down in this way.

I received my stimulus payment on my old deactivated card after MetaBank changed banks in December. I activated my new card, but since only my old card was on record, the stimulus went there. Unfortunately, I couldn't access the funds. Trying to transfer it using ePockets to my new card was unsuccessful. When I attempted to move the money back to the old card, it disappeared. I have tried contacting H&R Block for help multiple times without success. Every IRS line is closed, and MetaBank is unable to assist because I use H&R Block. I have exhausted all options, and my ePockets account now shows $0.00. I am waiting for an email from tech support but have not received it yet.

I visited H&R Block to inquire about their fees, hoping for a senior discount for my wife and myself. However, after a brief review of our taxes, they quickly informed us of a federal owe. This morning, I bought an H&R Block Product Card from Walmart. Following the instructions on the back of the card, I went to Gethrblock.com/CRTC to activate the product. However, the activation process has been stuck on "processing activation" for the past thirty minutes. I'm worried that if I refresh the page, I might receive an "activation code has already been used" error. I have been a satisfied user of H&R Block since [redacted]. This year, I decided to use your Tax Software and have come across a few things I wasn't aware of. I reviewed my previous year's taxes from your office and identified two errors in the [redacted] tax return. Firstly, I was penalized for tax underpayment linked to a one-time distribution. Secondly, the renter's tax credit wasn't deducted, resulting in an increase in my tax liability of $72.00 and $[redacted].00, respectively. I am unsure if there are other credits that could reduce my state income tax of $[redacted].00, on top of $[redacted].00 already paid.
When examining the fees breakdown for tax preparation, I noticed an additional $40.00 listed as "other fees" without clarification. My Axos Emerald card expired on March 8th. My stimulus payment got deposited into my Axos Bank account, but H&R Block changed banks, so the stimulus ended up on a new card that doesn't work. After struggling to reach out to H&R Block, they instructed me to request a new Emerald card from Meta Bank, which took a week to get delivered. When I finally got the card, I faced delays in activating it, only for the activation attempt to fail, despite me paying $35 for expedited shipping. Upon calling back, I was informed that my card had been canceled by someone else, even though I didn't do it. Now, I am facing issues with activating the replacement card, even after it arrived today. The message says my funds have been transferred to a new account. I need assistance with this situation.

My stimulus was supposed to be deposited to my old Emerald Card. Since the new one was issued recently, I was told by H&R Block and Emerald Card services that this third stimulus would be automatically transferred to the new card. It has not shown up yet. Here is what the IRS says:

I purchased your software online over Presidents' Day weekend. I prefer the idea of a CD, as the download kept failing and eventually I was restricted after supposedly downloading it six times, which is untrue. When I called customer service, the automated system was confusing and the wait time was excessive. Despite experiencing a frustrating ordeal with the helpline hanging up on me today due to high call volumes, I would appreciate a reset of the download counter so I can access the product. I have always had good experiences with your company, but this situation is testing my patience and may affect my loyalty as a customer.

I recently purchased NM state tax software and during the download, the screen instructed me to finalize the purchase after the update. I proceeded as directed, completed my taxes without any issues, as I have been using your software for years. However, upon checking my bank statement, I noticed two purchase confirmations: 9MKTC-RVFHP and CDEJJ-W9K73. It is evident that I was charged twice for the same product, and I only require one NM state tax software.

I submitted my taxes on January 27 at the H&R Block office in Dayton, Tennessee. Initially, I was informed that my refund would be $2,[redacted], but later I discovered an error. I contacted the office, and they explained how the mistake occurred. They advised me to wait for the return to be processed before amending it. The 1-[redacted] number said yes, while the Dayton, Tennessee office said no. The customer service experience has been disappointing.
