When I attempted to file my taxes using the H&R Block software, it indicated that I qualified for a Qualified Business Income Deduction and prompted me to have a tax professional complete a Form [redacted]. However, after paying extra for this service, the tax professional informed me that the form was unnecessary for my situation as it pertains to other General Business Credits. I am seeking a refund of the $89.99 additional fee I paid for the Tax Pro Review for Premium. While I understand the need to pay for premium federal and state returns, the Tax Pro Review charge was not required in my case. Thank you.

I have a tax-related issue that makes me unsure about the service I received. I am concerned about my insurance coverage for the full year of [redacted]. Although my employer's records indicate I was covered, I only saw deductions starting in July, even though I worked full-time with benefits. I want to gather evidence to prove my coverage to prevent any penalties. If my employer failed to process my insurance paperwork, despite promising coverage in my offer letter and documents, would that exempt me from the penalty?

I encountered an issue at the Van Dyke and N Dale Mabry H&R Block location in Lutz. After speaking with management about honoring a discount for my taxes, I visited Harriet at the Waters branch. Unfortunately, Harriet informed me that I had missed the deadline for the discount and proceeded with my tax preparation without discussing any potential deductions related to buying a house. This rushed service cost me $[redacted], leaving me dissatisfied. Despite being a long-time customer since the age of 19, I won't be returning to H&R Block next year. I usually rely on their expertise in areas I'm unfamiliar with. It's disappointing, especially since I've referred many customers to Harriet Westgate in the past. I've emailed Harriet my documents showing additional points for a write-off related to my house purchase and hope they can honor the discount promised by management.

I utilized your online platform to file my taxes. After owing Federal and state taxes, I connected directly to the IRS to arrange payments. However, upon my return to your site to submit my state taxes, I encountered issues. Despite paying the $29.99 fee, the system prompted me to pay the entire tax amount rather than recognizing my installment plan with the IRS. Consequently, I had to set up a second installment plan through your system, causing a duplicate arrangement. This prevented me from filing my state taxes on time. I need the duplicate payment arrangement canceled to avoid being double-billed by the IRS. Additionally, I seek guidance on submitting my state taxes without making a full payment, as it was included in my original agreement with the IRS. I confirmed payment of the $29.99 required for state tax filing.

I encountered an error while attempting to e-file my tax return online regarding a discrepancy between my spouse's ITIN from the previous year and her SSN this year. This caused her birthdate to generate an error. Seeking guidance, I reached out to the tax support through the help button on the H&R Block website. An expert recommended printing and mailing the return instead of e-filing, aligning with advice found on the website. I proceeded to print it but was prompted to pay $79.99, which I found excessive for the guidance provided. Is there a possibility of receiving a refund for this charge? This marks my third year using H&R Block for my tax returns.

While attempting to e-file my tax return online, an error occurred after submission. Last year, my spouse had an ITIN, and this year has an SSN, causing an issue with her birthdate. Seeking assistance, I contacted H&R Block's tax support using the help button on the website. An expert suggested printing and mailing the return instead of e-filing, which was also advised on the website. To proceed, I had to pay **.** to print out the forms. Given that the tax deadline was approaching, I opted to pay. However, I believe I was charged excessively for basic guidance that should have been provided at no cost. I am inquiring about the possibility of receiving a refund for this service. This marks my third year using H&R Block for my tax returns.

I encountered an issue while e-filing my tax return. Last year, my spouse had an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) and this year, she has a Social Security Number (SSN). The error arose due to the IRS not updating her record with the SSN, resulting in a birthdate mismatch. I sought guidance via the help button on the H&R Block website. An expert advised me to print and mail the return instead of e-filing, which was also specified on the website. However, a fee of **.** was prompted for printing on the deadline date, which I paid. I feel it is excessive for the same guidance that was available for free. Could I potentially receive a refund for this charge? This is my third year using H&R Block for my tax returns.

I encountered an issue while trying to e-file my tax return with H&R Block due to a discrepancy in my spouse's identification numbers from the previous year. Despite receiving guidance from a tax support representative on the website, advising me to print and mail the return instead of e-filing, I noticed that this advice was readily available on the website as well. Subsequently, I proceeded to pay a fee of **.** to print the returns, as it was the deadline for filing taxes. I am concerned about being charged for guidance that should have been freely accessible. This is my third year using H&R Block for my taxes.

Over the weekend, I encountered issues trying to access the tax program I purchased ($45.07) on my work laptop, despite paying with my debit card. Fortunately, I managed to use my personal laptop on Sunday and accessed last year's login details. I completed my taxes for a new charge of $59.99 on this laptop. As I couldn't utilize the new ID information on the work laptop and didn't file anything with it, I would appreciate a refund of the initial $45.07 charge.

During my recent visit to the H&R Block office in Quincy, I encountered several issues that I feel compelled to share. The tax professional struggled to address my state tax inquiries and made clerical errors that required immediate correction. I was disappointed that an estimate of the filing cost and a breakdown of fees were never provided until I was presented with a surprisingly high bill of $[redacted]. Furthermore, I was taken aback by the remarks made by the tax professional regarding my income, choice of health insurance, and the complexity of my taxes due to income from Uber and Lyft. Their judgmental attitude and lack of professionalism, including texting and engaging in personal calls during our session, left me uneasy about the accuracy of my tax return. To ensure the correctness of my taxes and to verify the fairness of the charges, I kindly request a thorough review of my filed taxes and a detailed invoice of the preparation costs.

I recently had my taxes prepared at a local H&R Block office on March 5th. However, by mid-April, I had not received my refund. After contacting them, it was revealed that my address had been entered incorrectly by the preparer, despite having provided my driver's license with the correct address. The office manager offered to refund my preparation fee but did not offer any help in resolving the issue. I had to personally reach out to the IRS and the state to rectify the error in the database, leading to an additional month of waiting for my refund. While I understand mistakes can happen, I believe extra caution is necessary when handling taxes and money. I have been a loyal customer of H&R Block for years and have always expected assistance in such situations. The lack of support from the office manager has left me disappointed and questioning their customer service reputation.

After spending approximately two hours inputting all my information for the "easy" tax return online, I encountered a $29.99 charge, which seemed reasonable at the time. However, upon payment, I discovered I needed to print and file the taxes myself. Since I hadn't used my printer in years, I found out it was out of ink, requiring a trip to Wal-Mart for a replacement. The ink alone cost almost $30. I expected to have electronic filing for at least the state tax, but I had to file both state and Federal taxes by hand. It seems unfair that I had to refile everything due to not being warned about my state's lack of electronic filing. The service ended up costing me over $60 just to pay $26 in state taxes. This experience was far from convenient or fair. I am requesting a refund of the $29.99 charged for filing state taxes.

I am anticipating a return of $11,[redacted]. The IRS informed me that I should expect to receive the funds by April 17. While checking my account, I received an email from H&R Block stating that they will need 3-5 business days to release the rest of my money. It is frustrating to encounter this delay, as I believe it should be a quicker process. This business practice seems similar to factoring a receivable, which is concerning to me. I hope to receive the funds promptly without any unnecessary delays.

I bought the [redacted] Tax downloadable software on April 15, [redacted]. Despite the $20 upgrade ads, the system kept asking for an additional $80 right after purchase. The chat and phone lines were unresponsive. The automated system couldn't locate my account. The software lacks clear instructions, has glitches, and was unusable. I struggled to find refund information. To complete my taxes, I had to buy a different software since H&R Block's didn't work. Please refund my purchase; I didn't use it. The software is not user-friendly, lacks support, and has numerous glitches. Contact me at [redacted]

I paid $39.99 for filing my Virginia state taxes, even though I could have done a free file through the Virginia state tax site with H&R Block software. I have been a regular user of H&R Block online software and have spent $[redacted] this year and almost every year. I feel it is fair to request a refund of the $39.99 to my credit card. I am frustrated by the lack of information provided about the free file option and the pricing inconsistencies in your software. I believe a proper resolution would be to credit the amount I paid for the state taxes filing. I am disappointed that after spending $[redacted], you are unwilling to refund $39.99. It seems deceptive not to inform customers about the free file option for their state when using H&R Block software. I hope to resolve this matter promptly. If you need to follow up, please get in touch via the contact information provided below.

On April 7th, I submitted my taxes to H&R Block. I was allocated Matthew Halonen for the review. Despite being promised my return by the 13th and then the 15th, I have still not received it. Matthew is not responding to my calls or messages. After being assured a call back by 11 am today, it is now 2 pm without any update. I am unable to access a copy of my taxes. I paid $[redacted].97 for premium service and I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my case. I am Pam Holt, acting on behalf of Janice Lawrenz, and I urgently need to know the current status of the return.

I recently used H&R Block to file my [redacted] taxes, expecting the Tax Pro service to provide a review and guidance. However, it turned out the Tax Pros only answer questions, which wasn't clear to me beforehand. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that I should have raised my concerns before payment. Despite explaining that I needed to pay to file taxes and the timing doesn't affect my dissatisfaction, I was told there was nothing they could do since I already used the service. The supervisor reiterated this and stated there was no further recourse. Although I found the H&R Block software useful, the Tax Pro feature was disappointing, and the customer service response was unsatisfactory. I wanted to endorse H&R Block to others, but due to this experience, I will caution my friends and family to avoid it.

I'm disappointed by the increased price of filing my federal and state taxes this year. For years, I've used your retail product costing $75 to prepare taxes for myself and my children. This year, I had to switch to the online version due to using a Chromebook. However, I was surprised to find out that online filing now costs about $[redacted] per return and an extra $42 for each state return since it doesn't support printing. I'm wondering if I overlooked any details and if I should explore other options for the next tax season. Thank you.

I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to resolve my rejected return. I was transferred between multiple representatives but received little help. The last representative I spoke to offered suggestions but couldn't assist me. One representative falsely claimed to escalate my call without doing so. If I can't resolve this issue and file my federal return online, I may seek a refund through my debit card company. I am disappointed with the poor service provided by three of your representatives, except for the fourth person who listened to my concerns.

My experience with tax preparation services this year was disappointing. HR Block/TRB CPS in Columbia MO, who has handled my taxes for years, made numerous errors. My bank routing information was incorrect, causing both my federal and state refunds to be rejected. When I reached out to HRB, they failed to verify the routing details for my federal refund. Additionally, my youngest daughter's taxes were filed under my oldest daughter's SSN, leading to rejections when my oldest daughter tried to file her taxes. Despite the office's offer to file my oldest daughter's taxes for free, they provided her with incorrect documents and displayed rudeness during the process. To top it off, my youngest daughter received two IRS refunds due to a probable mix-up with the SSNs. I am now contemplating having another firm review our taxes to ensure accuracy. The level of service provided by this tax professional is unacceptable and has left me feeling unsure about the accuracy of our returns.
