I am encountering difficulties with my card as I do not possess a social security number. I purchased this card with the belief that I could load money and utilize it, but I am unable to do so because I am from a different country and lack a social security number. The automated system is not providing me the option to connect with a live representative without a social security number, which is frustrating. I require assistance in activating my card as I have already deposited my hard-earned money from a third-world country into it. I have attempted contacting the alternate number ending in [redacted], but they do not recognize their own card number. It seems there are no live representatives available to assist via email or callback. Regrettably, obtaining a refund from Walgreens is not a straightforward option with Green Dot.

During my brief stay at an Airbnb rental, I encountered a room infested with black mold stachybotrys, which triggered my asthma and breathing difficulties. Airbnb denied my full refund request despite only staying for 3 hours. The host attempted to clean the mold the following day but dismissed the severity of the situation. I am adamant about receiving a refund to address the health hazards I faced. The landlord's lack of concern is alarming, given the serious health risks associated with mold exposure. I hope Airbnb will promptly process my refund to alleviate the financial strain caused by this unsuitable accommodation. I will dispute the charges based on the implied warranty of habitability due to the uninhabitable conditions. Mold in a rental property is a violation requiring immediate action and resolution.

I logged into my account to review my Transaction history and came across an unfamiliar transaction from RITE AID STORE - [redacted] on February 27th, [redacted] for $[redacted].49. I reached out to the store regarding this transaction, but they mentioned that an ID is not required for Western Union transactions. After discussing this with the cashier, I used the WESTERN UNION KIOSK PHONE to request a refund of the amount back to my GREEN DOT account.

I activated a new card on the fourth with 20 dollars to pay a bill this morning. I was charged 4 dollars for the card at the store. However, when I checked the balance, I only had 12.04 dollars left. I was shocked to see a monthly fee deducted right after registering the card. This situation is unacceptable! I am requesting compensation, a refund, credit, and an apology to rectify this issue. If necessary actions are not taken, I will express my dissatisfaction through negative online reviews. I find it frustrating to now have to travel 40 miles to add more money to my card to cover essential expenses like electricity. The lack of consideration from your company is enraging. I anticipate a prompt resolution and a refund for this situation. Your immediate attention to this matter is crucial.

I have been experiencing a frustrating issue with GreenDot for the past 2 months. The automated system claims my card is registered, but my personal information does not match, preventing me from accessing my account. I am expecting a refund of $80 USD, which has not been processed or made available to me. The lack of assistance and constant hang-ups from the automated system have caused immense stress and inconvenience. I am considering sharing my negative experience on social media and exploring legal options due to the distress this situation has caused me. GreenDot's poor customer support and questionable business practices need to be addressed. If no resolution is reached promptly, I will proceed with seeking legal action. Thank you for allowing me to voice my dissatisfaction. Further correspondence will be through my legal representative. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing issues with the automated system claiming my card is already registered even though it's not under my information. I have been unable to resolve this problem for about 2 months and I should have received a refund of $80.00 USD. The lack of resolution and accessibility to customer service have caused major inconveniences and stress. I am considering sharing my negative experience on social media and potentially pursuing legal action due to the distress caused. GreenDot has not provided adequate assistance, and I feel compelled to seek legal recourse. Thank you for allowing me to voice my dissatisfaction. Further communication will be through legal representation. Regards, Eugene Sterrett.

I believe my card is faulty. When I call the [redacted] number on the back of the card, it doesn't recognize the last 4 digits. Despite answering all the security questions, I can't get through now. When trying to use the card online, different websites are saying the account is invalid. The issue seems to be with the Green Dot card itself. I am also expecting my taxes to be deposited soon and need this resolved quickly. Additionally, I am unable to log in on Green Dot's website as it repeatedly asks me to reset my password.

I am reaching out about my experience with purchasing a $[redacted].00 MoneyPak refill card to add funds to my Walmart MoneyCard. Even though I made sure my card was eligible, the deposit failed when I tried to load it online. After following instructions to potentially have MoneyPak manually load my card, I provided details and uploaded receipt and card photos. Despite receiving an email that they couldn't load the card and would issue a refund, I submitted the refund request on the MoneyPak site without receiving any verification or confirmation. Unfortunately, there seems to be no option to track the refund status on the MoneyPak website. I am looking for a way to confirm that my $[redacted].00 refund request has been received, is in process, and to know when to expect the refund by mail. Additionally, if there is a way to track the refund progress, it would be helpful to have that information.

On January 30, [redacted], I made a $2,[redacted].46 payment to Airbnb using my prepaid Green Dot Visa for a room at [redacted] Alum Rock Avenue, San Jose, California. The room had a private entrance, bathroom, and closet. Although the payment was processed on January 30th, I checked in on January 31st. According to Airbnb's policy, hosts should receive payment 24 hours after the client sees the property, which did not happen in my case. The room had black mold, which triggered my asthma. I am requesting a chargeback for the full $2,[redacted].46 to be credited back to my GreenDot prepaid Visa ending in [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to contact Airbnb, I have been unable to reach anyone by phone. The room did not meet expectations, violated Airbnb's policy, and was uninhabitable due to the mold. I have followed all procedures and am disputing the charge due to Airbnb's failure to address the situation promptly and appropriately.

I was supposed to receive a prepaid card with my tax refund, and it seems it was ordered on the same day I filed my taxes on 2/9/[redacted]. Despite being given a temporary card number for online payments, the physical card hasn't arrived. After contacting customer service today and being told a new card was sent out, I realized I couldn't use the temporary card anymore without any prior notice. This has hindered my ability to pay a bill promptly. I'm seeking to escalate this issue to a manager tonight to transfer the funds back to my bank account and resolve the matter urgently. I intend to share my experience on various social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Path, Google+, WhatsApp, and Amazon. I might also contact The Better Business Bureau. It's frustrating that the information provided was incomplete, and communication was lacking.

After depositing a check for $9,[redacted] and spending most of it, my account was locked for suspicious activity. Despite sending verification, my account remained locked after two weeks. Upon calling and speaking with a representative who initially found my documents but later claimed they were lost, I was asked to resubmit them, which I refuse to do. Requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was met with resistance and provided with misleading information about contacting headquarters. After numerous frustrating hours on hold, I located the headquarters online. This experience has been incredibly disappointing.

On February 28, [redacted], my paycheck amounting to $1,[redacted]+ was deposited onto my Green Dot prepaid debit card. To pay my rent, I needed to withdraw $[redacted], which exceeded the ATM limit of $[redacted] per day. Despite explaining to the Citizens Bank teller the need for a debit transaction with a PIN, she could only process it as a credit card cash advance. This issue arose due to changes in Green Dot's system. Calling Green Dot's customer service was frustrating, with long menus and difficulty reaching a live agent. Despite multiple attempts, I could not resolve the issue, leading to my rent money being inaccessible. The automated phone system led to repeated disconnections and no solution. The experience left me dissatisfied, and I plan to switch to a standard bank like PNC. Green Dot's lack of customer care has led me to eagerly await my new PNC prepaid debit card and discontinue using Green Dot.

I recently purchased a Green Dot cash back Visa debit card from 7-Eleven. I've been unsuccessful in activating it as it keeps stating my 16-digit card number is invalid. I've attempted to activate it for 45 minutes without success. I need access to the money I loaded onto the card, even though I only intended to add $20, being the minimum. I left the store due to taking too long. I urgently need to activate the card. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you for your help.

I ordered my Green Dot card through TurboTax. However, after waiting for the card for 7-10 business days, I realized there was an error in the zip code of my mailing address. I contacted customer service and received a reference number [redacted] and was advised to email documents to [redacted] to rectify the issue. Despite following the instructions by emailing the necessary documents with the reference number [redacted], I still have not received my card. My tax refund, which I need for medical expenses, is on the card, but I cannot access it. I need assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I am disputing a charge made by Airbnb on my card for $[redacted].46 on 1/30/19. I booked a furnished unit with a private entrance, yard, and balcony, but upon arrival, it was not as advertised. The room had toxic mold (stachybotrys) and my asthma was triggered after 30 minutes, forcing me to leave. I requested a refund, but it was denied despite the unsanitary conditions and the presence of black mold, a hazardous substance. The implied warranty of habitability supersedes any agreements. Mold cleanup and testing are necessary. Airbnb denied my request 11 days later. The room was not habitable and did not meet my expectations. Additionally, my asthma was affected after 23 years due to the mold, as confirmed by my medical records.

I have been trying to activate my card, but encountering issues. After setting up my Login ID online, I made a payment successfully. However, when I tried to use the card at Dollar General, it was declined. Despite attempting to activate it, I keep receiving a message that it was declined. I couldn't fulfill promises to my son or purchase essentials due to the card problem. After waiting for over an hour on the phone last night without speaking to anyone, I am currently on hold again due to high call volumes. It is frustrating to face these customer service issues. I am extremely disappointed and will leave a negative review about the experience. I urgently need assistance to resolve this matter so I can access my funds for my children's needs. I demand to speak with a representative to address this problem promptly.

I recently purchased a prepaid debit card from Walmart and unfortunately, it got blocked a few days later. I am currently away from my home state and in urgent need of using the funds available on the card. Despite uploading my driver's license twice as requested by the automated system, the issue remains unresolved. I have been trying to contact customer service through various numbers provided, only to be met with long wait times and no resolution in sight. All I need is for my prepaid Mastercard to be unblocked so I can access my money. I sincerely hope that someone can assist me with this matter promptly as it has been ongoing for a week now. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline J.

I bought a MoneyPak on March 1st and had trouble loading it to my card for the first time. I received an error message, so I waited a day or two and then requested a refund because I couldn't load it onto my card. This was the first time in years that I had this issue with a MoneyPak card. I'm just checking to see if my refund was requested to the mailing address I provided. Please contact me as soon as possible.

I reloaded my Rush Card with $[redacted] at Rite Aid on 02/27/19 to rent a Lyft car for $[redacted], but I didn't end up getting the rental. When the money was supposed to be refunded to my card, Rush Card labeled the load as fraudulent because Green Dot reported it as such. Despite having a receipt for the transaction, Rush Card has not provided me with any information. Moreover, Rush Card deducted their monthly fee from the loaded amount. I am baffled by the claim of a fraudulent cash load and would appreciate an explanation.
