I mistakenly transferred funds from my Cash App account to a Green Dot card that was under my name, Brian Palmer. The Green Dot card is closed, and I am unable to retrieve my money from it. I opened two Green Dot accounts around two years ago. Unfortunately, one was closed due to an unauthorized charge, and then the other was frozen by a Green Dot representative suspecting fraud. Now, I have $[redacted] in the frozen account that I need assistance recovering. My identity was stolen, and my accounts, including email, were hacked and passwords changed, making it impossible for me to access the old accounts. I've been struggling for years to get my money back from Green Dot, but the lacking customer service has made it incredibly challenging. I urgently require a real person to contact me promptly, so I can provide the necessary information to resolve this issue and reclaim my funds. Additionally, I had a Go2 account with $50 that was compromised around the same time. It's frustrating that my own funds have been inaccessible for so long. This matter is of utmost importance to me.

I am Kevin Shaw. I had my rent payment scheduled for $[redacted].95 on 11/3/23, processed through Green Dot via direct deposit. Despite having around $[redacted] in my account with no pending transactions, upon checking, I found my balance was overdrawn by over $[redacted]. The rent payment was not showing as pending, but I did receive a notification about it. Green Dot has acknowledged funding issues and assured me of a resolution. After numerous frustrating calls and being left without access to my funds, another deposit was made, theoretically bringing my balance to over $[redacted]. However, my debit card still displays -$[redacted], hindering my ability to pay rent or buy necessities. Despite being given a case number ([redacted]58) and promised a resolution in 48 hours (which lapsed), I am still uncertain when I will receive the refund back into my account.

I purchased a Green Dot Cash Back Visa Card with $[redacted] loaded onto it. Green Dot now shows a balance of $[redacted].05 after deducting a $9.95 monthly service fee. Despite having the card for over a week, I haven't been able to use my funds because my transactions are repeatedly denied. Dealing with their customer service has been frustrating as they assure me the issue is resolved, yet the card still doesn't function. I purchased a Walmart card with $[redacted] loaded onto it. After successfully activating it and confirming my email on the app, I was shocked to find a $0 balance. I promptly spoke with customer service and submitted my receipt and ID. However, I have yet to receive a response. I want this resolved immediately. I am extremely dissatisfied and will escalate this to the Better Business Bureau if necessary. $[redacted] is a substantial amount to just vanish. On November 5, I purchased a Walmart MoneyCard and tried to activate it online by entering the 16-digit number and the 3-digit number. It said it was activated and I could use it in 60 minutes. I then tried to open an account online and when asked for the zip code, I used the store's zip code. Later, during the account setup, I added my address. However, after the 60-minute wait, when I tried to pay a bill, it said there were insufficient funds. I never wanted an account, I just needed to make a one-time payment. I've been dealing with this since the 5th and if it's not resolved soon, I might be homeless. The phone number provided keeps saying my information doesn't match anything on file. I have the receipt for the card purchase and the $[redacted] loaded onto it.

My card was locked, and a new one was sent to me within three days for $15. However, the new card arrived two weeks later. When I attempted to activate it, the system indicated that it was already closed. I've been unable to speak with anyone using the provided phone number because the card number is declared inactive. My card was suddenly restricted, holding my funds hostage for about four days. I was informed it was for a quick verification and was asked to email my license to the provided link. Despite sending 20 clear photos of my license, the system kept rejecting my credentials. They mentioned it would now take an additional 2 to 4 days of investigation. After waiting the first 4 days, I called again and was told it would be another 2 to 4 days for the investigation. When I inquired about what to do next since the system wouldn't accept my license, I was simply told there was nothing I could do. When I asked how to access my funds, they said it would only happen when the system accepted my license or whenever they decided to address it. Initially, I thought it was a joke, but upon calling multiple times without a resolution, I felt like my money had been taken. I have already filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Protection. The representatives I spoke to were rude and unhelpful, even telling me I would never retrieve my money. I have all these interactions recorded and have escalated the issue.

My Green Dot card is showing a zero balance, even though I added $68 to my card ending in [redacted] on November 17th, [redacted]. I am unable to use my card, and the app displays my balance as [redacted]. When I attempt to contact customer service, I receive errors stating my information is incorrect or that I need my new card, but the temporary card numbers are the only ones I have as I just purchased it on Friday, November 17th.

I've had a Walmart Green Dot Card for about a year, actually two of them. I got an email saying one of my cards is locked due to suspicious activity. I use their app on my phone, and when I choose the card I need, it says the account is closed. The balance is $[redacted].78, and I can see my latest transaction, but that's it. I submitted a dispute for 4 charges on my card on November 17th. After being informed that a $[redacted] refund check would be issued, I still have not received it. Following hours on the phone with customer service, I encountered an exceptionally rude representative. I am experiencing issues with my Greendot account being restricted. I have tried to contact them three times but have been hung up on. I sent a copy of my driver's license as requested, but it is now expired, even though all the information on it is current. I am unable to get anyone to help resolve this problem. Since October 31, [redacted], I have been unable to access my direct deposit funds in my Greendot account. I am currently facing eviction. Despite sending a photo copy of my state ID multiple times, my card remains blocked, and I have not been able to receive a new one. However, my routing number and bank account are still open. I am expecting to receive my US Treasury SSI/SSDI payments, but the situation is causing me significant distress.

After reporting unauthorized payments, Green Dot closed my account, returned some funds, and marked my consumer report negatively for fraud. As a result, Certegy Payment Solutions now associates me with fraudulent activity, hindering my ability to cash my payroll checks. While I agree with the account closure, I need assistance removing the negative report to regain the ability to cash checks promptly and improve my consumer report standing. This is crucial for meeting my financial obligations. Your support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I was assured by five different representatives at go2bank customer service that I could arrange for my partner's income tax refund to be deposited into my account. After confirming multiple times to be certain, I was shocked when I was told on Saturday night that this could not be done or his check would be rejected. This situation is extremely unfair and unjust, and I believe someone should take responsibility for the misinformation provided. I even had a representative check with a colleague to verify this arrangement. I am reaching out in hopes that someone will authorize this deposit as I am certain it can be processed if the necessary steps are taken. If not resolved, it will be more than a month before we receive the funds.
