I am awaiting a refund from Walmart since 2/3/22. I have spoken to three different agents, but I have not received my refund yet. Each time I contacted them, they mentioned issues with the system or said I needed to verify my identity. I provided the necessary information, but the refund has still not been processed. One agent, Mars, gave me case number [redacted]8 and assured me the refund would be done by today. However, another agent named Bert mentioned it might take 3 to 5 business days. I was later told by a different agent that it would take only 2 business days. I am feeling frustrated and stressed as I need this money to start my job on Thursday. I have children and bills to take care of, and without this refund, I risk losing my home. I implore Walmart to release my refund promptly as it is essential for me to support my family and keep a roof over our heads.

I recently purchased two Green Dot cards, loaded with $[redacted] on one and $[redacted] on the other, in order to pay my rent. However, during the verification process, my card got locked due to information verification issues. Despite my attempts, I couldn't withdraw the money as the cards were registered to me with my PIN. I contacted the company to get reissued cards, but they were unhelpful, claiming they couldn't assist me even though the cards were stolen. I am frustrated and disappointed by the lack of support and will be leaving a negative review on Google about Green Dot.

I did not receive my Green Dot card, and someone fraudulently activated it, spent money, and closed my account. Green Dot Special Z promised to add $[redacted] credit to my card during the investigation. Upon being transferred to Customer Service, the call was disconnected. They now claim they cannot assist because my account is closed and they require a letter with my details and the disputed purchases. However, as I never received the card or made the purchases, I am unsure how to proceed. Can someone advise me on how to address this issue effectively? Thank you for your help.

I am in need of assistance with my recent financial situation. After my tax deposit, which I use for rent and other bills, someone managed to withdraw $[redacted] from my account. Following this, Greendot froze my account for security reasons. Despite contacting them multiple times, I was informed that it would take 48 hours to regain access to my funds. Furthermore, they mentioned that it could take up to 20 days to refund the fraudulent charge. Initially frustrated, I have since tried to reach out for updates, but I am continually put on hold and eventually disconnected.

I am reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with a MoneyPak refund I have not received. In October, I purchased a $[redacted] MoneyPak that did not work. After contacting Green Dot and providing all necessary documents, they issued a refund. Unfortunately, I have not received this refund. Despite multiple attempts and reassurances from MoneyPak that the refund has been sent, I have not been able to confirm the address to which it was sent. I am requesting a resolution to this matter as soon as possible. My total refund amount is $[redacted].95. I am open to alternative methods of refund, such as receiving a MoneyPak code via email or a direct deposit to my MoneyPak account. I am experiencing difficulties with my Green Dot Walmart MoneyCard. A block was placed on it over a week ago, and despite submitting the necessary documents to lift the block, it is still in place. I received and activated a new card earlier this week with the understanding that my old card would be deactivated. However, this has not occurred. Despite speaking to three Green Dot representatives, they are unable to locate my account using the information from either card. I urgently require assistance as I am unable to access my funds, leading to late fees on my bills. There was an unusual purchase made yesterday, and despite them assuring me it would be resolved within an hour, it hasn't been fixed. I have noticed several unauthorized transactions on my Green Dot card, which ends in ****. The only legitimate transaction I made was at Volcano Smoke Shop. Unfortunately, my acquaintance, T.O., took my card and has been using it without my consent. I urgently need a refund as I have lost over $1,[redacted] because of this situation. This money was essential for securing a new place to live after the tragic Paradise fire incident. It's distressing to be in this position as I am now homeless due to the theft. T.O. has also taken funds from my other Green Dot card ending in ****. I believe Green Dot should reimburse me for the monetary losses incurred because of this security breach.

Good evening, concerning the case number mentioned, I have submitted all requested documents for my purchase of the Green Dot card. I have filed a formal complaint with the FDIC and will continue to do so until this is resolved. It is unacceptable for a company to hold my money in a fraudulent manner. This situation has caused significant problems for both my life and my son's, who is struggling with lupus. He has missed essential treatments because I was unable to return home after buying the card.
After loading $[redacted] onto the card, I tried to use it on Expedia for a return flight, but the transaction was declined, leaving me stranded in Las Vegas for 4 days and costing me an extra $[redacted] for a return flight.
All I want is a refund and for the account to be closed. This has been the worst experience, and if I do not hear back from Green Dot, I will have to seek legal advice for full reimbursement. I simply want my money returned without being denied.

Last year, my wallet, together with my green card, was stolen. The economic impact payment I received was deposited on that card. I only have the last 4 digits of the card number and need access to that account to retrieve the funds or require a new card for access.

In October, my payroll check was direct deposited, and unfortunately, it was electronically stolen from my account. I called Green Dot to explain the situation and requested to close my account. After winning the dispute, Green Dot refunded the money back into the same account. When I tried to withdraw the money, I discovered that my account was locked, and I was asked to provide a rental agreement or a bill with my name on it. Due to the financial strain, I was unable to pay my rent and ended up being forced out of the room I was renting, leaving me homeless. Now, I don't have a permanent address or bills in my name. Green Dot is withholding my funds until I provide the necessary documentation, such as a bill with my name on it. Unfortunately, without a new apartment in the foreseeable future, I won't have bills reflecting my name. I only have a mailing address where I receive mail from EDD and social services, my license, and a cell phone bill. I am struggling to navigate this situation and facing challenges with unhelpful customer service representatives.

Despite my concerns about my upcoming tax return being deposited, they assured me it wouldn't be an issue. However, upon the deposit, I found myself unable to access my funds. When I opened my account, I used Petra Berry for over a year for direct deposits, including my [redacted] taxes. After moving to Ohio in late [redacted], my new job's direct deposit was locked. It took a long time for HR and me to get you to send the direct deposit back. I was surprised to find out that my account was supposedly under Petra Sullivan which is my maiden name I haven't used since I got married in [redacted]. Now, for almost a year you have been withholding my $[redacted] stimulus from the IRS, insisting I verify as Petra Sullivan. I provided lots of information, but you're still asking me to verify as Petra Sullivan. My SS# was first given to me as Sullivan on 2/6/[redacted] when I was born, and when I got married in [redacted], my name changed but not the number and birth date. It's frustrating that you didn't have an issue with deposits as Petra Berry before I moved. You failed to match names when the IRS deposited stimulus in March [redacted], causing me stress and inconvenience. I had a stroke recently and can't work. I demand access to my funds or their immediate return to the IRS. I received a copy of the request from the IRS for the release of my money, but you haven't acted on it. Please address this within a week, or my lawyer will be in touch.

I contacted a representative yesterday regarding a fraud issue and receiving a refund. I received a case number. I would appreciate an update on the status of my case and when my refund check will be mailed to me. As of today, the issue has not been resolved. The representative mentioned that I should expect the refund check within two weeks, but I am a bit skeptical about it. I understand that procedures must be followed, but it is frustrating to have to wait for my money to possibly be refunded. I feel unfairly impacted by this situation as I am not at fault for the fraud.
