After questioning the IRS about the missing payment and waiting for a lengthy period, they informed me that the funds were in my Greendot account, which I hadn't known about. Despite eventually accessing the money and using some of it, there was $[redacted] remaining when the account was inexplicably closed after only a day. Despite my repeated explanations of the situation, they cited suspicious activity as the reason. Now, I've been trying for a month to retrieve the almost $[redacted] left in the closed account, providing all requested documents, only to be told there's nothing they can do. It feels unfair and illegal to have my own money held in a closed account that I cannot access.

I have been trying to address an ongoing issue with my Green Dot card where my card information and email were changed without my knowledge. After spending nearly 2 hours on the phone, I requested to speak with a supervisor but kept getting transferred around and eventually disconnected. When I called back, I was put on hold for 13 minutes and then the representative brought up a dispute I made in May where I never received the refunded money. It's now November 11th, and I am calling about a new issue, but they keep referring back to that unresolved dispute. Despite their records showing the money was refunded, I have proof in my transactions that it was never returned to my account. I did not receive a new card in August [redacted], even though I have been actively using my card. I recently had a declined purchase while there were funds still on the card. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that the card had been closed since I did not respond to the email notification. I no longer have access to that email, and I am now facing difficulties with my phone being turned off due to auto-pay, preventing my paycheck from being deposited. When trying to reach customer service, I found the call center to be overseas with background noise including chickens and roosters. I have been a customer for over 5 years and I am extremely disappointed with this situation. I have requested a new card to be sent out with the remaining balance or for the funds to be transferred. My address has remained the same, and I feel that more effort should have been made to reach out to me. I am eagerly awaiting a resolution to this issue.

I have been unable to access my Green Dot card for over two months. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I have been repeatedly asked to submit my ID documents for review by the back office. Each time, I am assured it will be resolved in 2 days, but when I follow up on the third day, my card remains locked. While a representative mentioned there was no block on my account, my card remains inaccessible without being able to unlock it via the app, which I cannot do as my account has been compromised with changes to both email and phone number. Despite explaining this issue in detail, I have not received the necessary assistance to reset my login information. This ongoing problem is causing great inconvenience as I require access to my funds for personal expenses.

I am having issues with my account. I made a payment of approximately $2,[redacted], but my account was closed without verification. It has been a month since I have heard anything about accessing my account. I have not received any communication from the company despite having $2,[redacted] in their possession for two months. I added a $[redacted] MoneyPak to my Green Dot card without knowing it was closed. Green Dot verified the deposit and said they would contact me within 2 business days, but I haven't heard back. Another person said I need to contact MoneyPak, but I already did and they confirmed the deposit. I don't understand why I have to provide the MoneyPak receipt when I have verification of the deposit. It's my kids' Christmas money, and I'm frustrated with the lack of service. On October 4, [redacted], my Walmart Money Card account was unlawfully accessed, and a $[redacted].00 unauthorized transfer was made, leaving a balance of $[redacted].78. Despite filing a dispute on October 5 and having it resolved on October 29, the funds were returned to the blocked account. Despite uploading my ID twice on October 31, Walmart/Greendot is refusing to grant me access or provide a way to access my balance. They are requesting that I contact the Social Security Administration as the originator of the funds, but the SSA cannot fulfill this request. I am puzzled as to why Walmart/Greendot will not refund me via check or card mail or unblock my card to allow me to access my balance or transfer it to another account. It's frustrating that I am being penalized for someone else's misconduct with my account.

I have encountered an issue with Greendot where $[redacted].60 of my funds has gone missing. On October 27th, I added $[redacted].81 to my balance, and with my previous $54, my balance should be $[redacted].42. On October 29th, I had to move all funds to a protected account. When I contacted Greendot, I called 8 times. Unfortunately, the first 6 calls were disconnected, and one employee provided incorrect details on how to reach a manager, including a false number. After reviewing the transaction logs, $[redacted].60 seems to be missing. Despite contacting them multiple times, my account got frozen, hindering my access. This has caused inconvenience as my bills are nearing the due date. I am eager for a resolution, my account to be unfrozen, the missing funds returned, and seek compensation for the unprofessional treatment.

I had my card stolen around October 20th, and as soon as I was able to reach someone, I reported it and it was canceled. Unfortunately, it was used again a week later. After contacting someone, they blocked it once more and advised me to document the dates, places, and amounts of the unauthorized purchases for a dispute. I was given a dispute number. I promptly mailed the required information along with my driver's license, and also emailed it. However, I have not received any update since then.

I purchased a Green Dot Visa debit card today at Walmart. I attempted to activate the card on the app but was unable to log in successfully. The app directed me to access my account through the website instead.
