Today, on October 12, [redacted], I unfortunately fell victim to a scam. I was expecting money for a sale on the OLX app, but instead, I ended up losing money. The scammer kept sending me SMS links to Google Pay, claiming that the payment was being sent to me. However, I ended up losing Rs 70,[redacted] in the process, and now the scammer is unreachable. I will provide all the details below.
Initially, I received SMS messages like:
"Hi MERCHANT. You've made a purchase of Rs [redacted] from VINIT KUMAR ([redacted]). Click to pay: [redacted]"
Later, the scammer claimed to be refunding me, and the messages looked like this:
"Hi Refund payment. You've made a purchase of Rs [redacted] from VINIT KUMAR ([redacted]). Click to pay: [redacted]"
I admit I was gullible, but if there is any way to recover the lost funds, it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to provide screenshots as proof. Thank you for your assistance.

I am trying to make a purchase from Got Apparel using Google Pay. However, after entering my new credit card details, I received an error message stating that my card information was rejected. I contacted my credit card issuer, Citi, who mentioned that they were receiving garbled information with a purchase amount of 0. Got Apparel suggested the issue might be with Google Pay, but I have been unable to reach them for assistance as they refer me back to the merchant. I am feeling very frustrated with Google Pay's lack of support. If I do not receive a response, I will cancel the order and advise Got Apparel to consider a different payment service.

I would appreciate it if Google Pay could contact me at [redacted]. I have been experiencing ongoing issues since December [redacted] with fraudulent transactions that continued until May [redacted]. Despite speaking to a fraud department member in January or February last year, my claim was denied as fraud, even though the activity shows real people's names involved. One individual named Kelly Schmidt from California made multiple unauthorized purchases from my account, along with another person from Japan. The fraud department initially said they could remove the charges, but a manager later declined, citing lack of evidence. I have submitted several claims over the past 9 months, and I am frustrated by the lack of resolution and attention to these fraudulent activities. I urge someone to address my concerns promptly. I purchased Bluetooth headphones from Club Factory, but they arrived damaged. I attempted to return them for a refund twice, but the delivery and pickup personnel failed to come both times. Despite my efforts to contact Club Factory for a resolution, I have been unsuccessful in reaching them. I have a situation where I sent $20 to a lady on OfferUp via Google Play. I am new to this payment method as I usually use PayPal, but it was not working with her account. My father transferred [redacted] rupees from his SBI account to my Kotak Mahindra Bank account using Google Pay on November 22nd. It's been over two weeks, and the [redacted] rupees hasn't reflected in my Kotak Mahindra account. However, the [redacted] rupees has been deducted from my father's account. I have lodged a complaint through Google Pay but haven't received any updates. I am eager to have the [redacted] rupees credited to my Kotak Mahindra account promptly.

I made a payment for my Vodafone bill on Nov 7th through GPay. The funds were deducted from my HDFC account, but the payment did not show up in my Vodafone account.

Four days ago, I transferred Rs [redacted] to my friend's account via Google Pay. Both of us received messages confirming the transfer, but when my friend tried to withdraw the money from the bank, they found no balance. I lodged a complaint with Google Pay support. After 6 hours, my friend received Rs [redacted]. Where is the remaining Rs [redacted]? Google Pay said it takes 3 days to receive the money, but today marks the 4th day. I made a transaction for a Jio recharge, and although my Google Pay app shows the recharge as successful, Jio didn't process it. I reached out to Jio's support, and they guided me through email and a phone call. After their help, I discovered the transaction wasn't completed through my Google Pay ID. I contacted Google Pay customer service, and they assured me that the refund would be processed within three business days. Unfortunately, the refund hasn't reflected in my account yet. I've had to resubmit my documents twice now for verification, and it's frustrating because I've already done this. I am facing an issue with a money transfer that went to an old card instead of my current one on Google Pay. The sender confirms the transfer, but I haven't received it. I've tried contacting Google Pay via various phone numbers listed on their site, but encountered issues with all of them. The first two numbers were not working, and the last one directed me to resolve the matter online. I reside in Bangalore, India, and am a retired individual on a pension. I was searching for the customer care number of a local courier service to inquire about a package delivery. After contacting the number displayed in the search results, I was informed that my package could not be delivered due to an incorrect address provided, leading to its return. To arrange a redelivery, I was asked to make a payment of INR 5. Subsequently, I received an SMS containing a payment link. Upon clicking the link, I was prompted to enter my Google Pay PIN. Unfortunately, within a short span of 10 minutes, multiple unauthorized withdrawals totaling INR [redacted] were made from my account. I received an alert on Gpay to verify a credit card that I no longer have as it has been shredded. The credit card is a Visa ending in [redacted]. I purchased a $10 Google Play card from Walmart, but when I tried to redeem it at home, I couldn't. I submitted a report with all the necessary documents. The email responses from Google indicate they found inconsistencies in my account information related to names. The account is under James Forsyth, the card is under James Forsyth, and my verified bill is under James Forsyth, but my ID includes "Jr." I want this issue resolved promptly to avoid further frustration.

On December 27th, I ordered three jeans from Myntra online for different amounts - Rs. [redacted], Rs. [redacted], and Rs. [redacted]. I paid using Google Pay. When the parcel arrived the next day, there was a size issue with the jeans priced at Rs. [redacted] and Rs. [redacted], so I returned them to Myntra on December 29th. On the same day, I received a refund for the Rs. [redacted] jean but have yet to receive a refund for the Rs. [redacted] jean.
Myntra assured me that they initiated refunds for both jeans on the same day. They suggested contacting Google Pay support for assistance. Despite numerous attempts, I have not been able to get through to customer support at Google Pay after being transferred.
As of January 3rd, I still have not received the refund for the Rs. [redacted] jeans. I would appreciate it if this matter could be resolved promptly. I have attached a screenshot of my bank statement showing only the refund for Rs. [redacted].
