Subject: Be Cautious of Online Payment Requests Hello Sir, I wanted to share an incident that occurred on 10th January, [redacted] concerning a potential scam involving a buyer named Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar who contacted me through OLX regarding the sale of my old Godrej safe and 1.5-tonne window AC. Initially, we agreed on a price of Rs. 14,[redacted] for the items, and Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar requested an online payment instead of cash on delivery. He advised me to use Google Pay for the transaction, which I was not familiar with. Unfortunately, following his instructions, I mistakenly ended up debiting my account thrice with Rs. 14,[redacted] and once with Rs. 7,[redacted], totaling Rs. 49,[redacted]. Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar assured me that the amount would be refunded by midnight, but it never happened. Even after threatening to involve the police, he made another unsuccessful attempt to transfer the money to a different account under the name of Mr. Raj Premshankar Singh. I have reported this to my bank and am now considering filing a police complaint. I urge everyone to be cautious when receiving online payment requests and to verify the legitimacy of the transaction before proceeding. Thank you, Gopalkrishnan V.

I recently noticed unauthorized transactions on my Google Pay app. After installing a QR code scanner, I saw my account debited by 1 Rs, which was later credited back. In the last two days, despite not using my card, I received messages about failed transactions due to insufficient balance. I am concerned that my account may be automatically debited without my consent when there is a balance. Please assist me in resolving this issue to prevent any further unauthorized transactions.

My name is Brad Finley, and I encountered an issue with a purchase on the Dingtone app. I used my debit card via Google Pay for a $9.99 transaction. After receiving an email receipt from Google, I noticed that the payment was addressed to Talkatone instead of Dingtone, although I intended to make the purchase on Dingtone. Both apps are on my phone, and neither has received the payment. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I recently reinstalled Google Pay on my phone. After logging into my Google account, I encountered an issue when trying to set up my bank account on the app. Despite having used Google Pay regularly with the same bank account, I'm now unable to activate it. My internet connection is stable, my messaging app is working, and I have sufficient balance. I have attempted to resolve the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as removing and reinserting the SIM card, but I still receive an error message stating that the account cannot be restored. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I am Narendraprasad. Recently, I made a purchase of 2180rs using my debit card when I had 2325rs in my account. However, after the shopping, 2180rs was debited from my account, leaving me confused. Subsequently, when I checked my balance on G Pay, it still showed the pre-shopping balance. In an emergency, I transferred 2300rs to one friend and received 1200rs from another, but my balance did not reflect these transactions. Even after another friend sent me 2300rs, the balance remained unchanged. Despite the shopping amount being only 2180rs, my balance now shows -374rs. I am puzzled by this discrepancy and seek clarification on why my balance is being affected this way. This issue has been ongoing since March 10th. Please assist me in resolving this matter.

I have raised a dispute for an unauthorized transaction, believing it's fraudulent. I used Google Pay to purchase a puppy for $[redacted], which the sender accepted. The puppy is now being air-freighted from the East Coast, but the company is asking for an extra $[redacted] for travel insurance premium, promising to refund it in cash upon delivery. This seems suspicious, as local breeders I've checked with from Wisconsin who ship dogs via air have never mentioned travel insurance. The company provided a website for tracking the puppy, www.unitedairlogisties.net/tracking.php, along with tracking number AQ987H354FKT4. When I called the listed phone number, it connected me to the buyer's website, www.rarepomeranianpups.com, not the air freight carrier. Despite loving the puppy's pictures, I don't trust them. I received an email on May 12th confirming the $[redacted] total payment for the puppy's shipment and delivery, but I no longer receive any responses from them after expressing my concerns. I have multiple emails to support my claims and I am requesting a $[redacted] refund on my card for the female puppy named Amy, who they claim is 16 weeks old on their site but 12 weeks old in emails.

I am currently dealing with a distressing situation where my previous domestic partner has stolen my identity. He has gained access to my email account, Quicken data, and even hacks my phone. Using various names such as Jennifer Davis, Jennifer Johnson, or Jennifer Davis Johnson, he has opened accounts using my business tax ID and old married name. Working with Detective Steve Stone, the total loss due to his actions is nearing $60,[redacted]. Despite locking my credit reports, he managed to rack up $25,[redacted] in charges in a month. This has severely impacted my credit, and his actions have caused me immense distress. I am overwhelmed with work and sleepless nights due to this ongoing situation. I urge immediate action to stop his fraudulent activities and bring him to justice.

I am Sarah T. from Kentucky. Today my son asked me to buy eBay cards to purchase parts for his car. Instead, I mistakenly bought Google Play cards from Dollar General in Beaver Dam, Kentucky - one for $[redacted] and one for $[redacted]. After realizing my error, I tried to exchange them for eBay cards as my son couldn't use the Google Play cards for car parts. Unfortunately, the store didn't allow the exchange. Now, I am stranded with $[redacted] in Google Play cards, which I cannot use. I am financially constrained, with only $2 to my name and I urgently need to get eBay cards for my son by morning. I have accounts with Chime Bank and Green Dot Bank Bancorp, with the necessary routing and account numbers for deposits. I have been on the phone for two hours seeking assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had an unpleasant experience with Google Pay. I used it for an order on JustEat, but the restaurant declined and refunded the payment through Google Pay. However, I never received the refund despite the transaction vanishing from my history a month ago. When I contacted them via online chat, the agent was rude and insisted there was no issue. I am disappointed with this situation.

I paid $1 to access customer support, and I have a screenshot of the payment. After installing Google Pay, I attempted to create an account. However, upon entering my phone number, I received an error message stating that the number has been used too many times, which resulted in disconnection. Despite being informed that a verification SMS would be sent, I have not received any message. Strangely, when you provided the code, I did receive it. Overall, I am unable to successfully create a Google Pay account.

I need help regarding an upcoming payment on Google Cloud that I have no knowledge of. I have submitted all the necessary information to verify my identity, but I am facing an issue with my proof of address submission. The system is flagging it as invalid, despite my efforts. I even used the official USPS notification confirming my address change from my old to current one. I'm unsure of what additional proof they require to validate my address.

I received a $[redacted].00 payment but was only able to deposit $[redacted].00 into my checking account with a $3.00 fee. This left me with $75.00, which I tried to deposit unsuccessfully due to transfer limits. I then attempted to send the $75.00 to someone as it was my rent money needed that day. Unfortunately, the transfer was canceled, and the $75.00 was not credited back to my Google balance. I contacted customer service, who said they would call me back within 24 to 48 hours, but I have not received any call. I also emailed them but have not received a response. This issue has been ongoing since November 24, [redacted].

Subject: Unauthorized Transactions and Account Security Concerns I recently discovered that my USEagle Federal Credit Union checking account in Albuquerque, NM was completely cleared out. Upon investigation, I was informed that Google Pay was involved in these unauthorized transactions. I am deeply concerned about how someone was able to create an account using my information without my knowledge or consent. I have never utilized Google Pay services, so this situation is alarming. Two transactions, one for $[redacted].00 and another for $[redacted].00, were processed back to back, and I did not receive any notifications for approval. This oversight not only jeopardizes my financial stability but puts my living situation at risk, especially considering I have a young child to care for. Living paycheck to paycheck on a budget provided through Social Security benefits makes this loss particularly devastating. I am pleading for assistance in rectifying this situation as soon as possible, as it has placed me in a vulnerable position. Any insight or support you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Abby Litts
