I created a GoFundMe campaign for Cassandra Di Maria in late January [redacted]. My name is Peter Gabriel. I handed over the management of the fundraiser to Cassandra for her to receive the donations. I expected that part of the fees deducted from each donation would ensure that all charitable donors received tax receipts, as this was my understanding of how GoFundMe operates. Unfortunately, the negative publicity surrounding the Canadian Truckers Rally impacted the success of our campaign to reach the $10,[redacted] goal. Cassandra has been battling stage 4 colon cancer, undergoing 17 chemotherapy treatments and a 16-hour surgery in January [redacted] after being off work for two years. I kindly request GoFundMe to issue the tax receipts promptly, as per the expectations of the donors, myself included, who contributed $[redacted].50 via MasterCard ending in [redacted]20 on January 24, [redacted]. About three weeks ago, I created a Go Fund Me page to support my son's Boy Scout Eagle project. The project raised $[redacted].00, and it was completed on February 11, [redacted]. Now, we want to transfer these funds to our bank account to cover the project expenses. When trying to set up and verify the transfer, I was directed to the Ayden page for bank transfers. Clicking continue led to an error message stating: "Not supported. Hosted Onboarding is not available to the specified country ()." We reside in the USA, so I'm unsure why this error occurred and how we can proceed to access the funds. Despite trying to reach out to GoFundMe through their platform and help resources, I was unable to connect with a real person as they do not provide a contact phone number. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am an 82-year-old beneficiary of a GoFundMe account set up by my granddaughter after my son passed away. I have been struggling to access the funds despite providing a copy of my check. After trying to log in to my Facebook account to add the photo, the window closed once I entered my credentials. Although I received a message saying the profile photo was added, I can't see it. Hello, I wanted to share that a GoFundMe was created for me by a friend. He was supposed to receive the funds in his account after a specific date given by GoFundMe, but the deadline passed, and he didn't receive the money. He reached out to GoFundMe, who stated that if he doesn't receive the funds by a certain date, they will return the money to the donors. After receiving an email from the platform, I promptly removed the offer, saved the changes, and hit "Publish." Despite this, the campaign has not been updated in six hours, leading to complaints from potential donors. The platform's automated response indicates it will be at least 24 hours before they address the issue. I have submitted multiple claims to address the defamatory content about my family and business on your site. Despite providing a court order debunking the fraudulent claims, the content remains posted. I now view GoFundMe as complicit in defamation, tortious interference, and fraud.
