Although I understand the need for verification, I am unable to receive donations or proceed further despite Gofundme's email indicating donations could still be accepted. My page is labeled as under investigation, causing confusion for potential donors and reflecting poorly on me. I have prepared promotional materials, but after waiting for 12 days without a response from Gofundme, I am at a standstill. I am eager for my campaign to resume or a clear timeline for when it will be reinstated.

I attempted to donate to a friend's GoFundMe page yesterday. Since I didn't receive a confirmation, I assumed the transaction was not accepted. To ensure my donation went through, I used PayPal this morning. Upon checking my bank account, I noticed both the confirmed PayPal donation and the unconfirmed transaction from yesterday were withdrawn. I've never used GoFundMe before, so I hope this was a mistake. I contacted my bank to dispute the $[redacted].00 charge. I expect to be refunded as I only intended to donate $[redacted]. I have set up a GoFundMe account and I am ready to post it, but I am unable to find an option to opt-out of using PayPal. The final page states that donations will go through PayPal Giving Fund to grant the funds to my chosen non-profit either via PayPal or by check if the charity is not registered with PayPal Giving Fund. They mention that funds are typically delivered to the charities between the 15th and 45th days of the original donation. If the charity is not registered, it may take up to 90 days. I do not wish to involve PayPal in this process; I prefer to have a direct link to my beneficiary's bank account. Can someone help me with this issue?

I've been unable to access my funds on my GoFundMe account for a while now. When I checked my account before updating my credit/debit card, I still had funds. However, when I tried adding the new card, I was surprised to find my funds missing. I was informed that the funds were transferred to the old card, which had been reported stolen. The funds had been sitting on that old card, and I've been attempting to cash out without success. Now, I have a new card and I need the funds to be transferred to it. Since the stolen card cannot receive the funds, I'm requesting the transfer to be made to my current card.

My son's paternal uncle, Michael Ostuni, created a GoFundMe for my minor, special needs son, Hunter Ostuni, as his father passed away in January. Hunter, under my sole custody, was deeply affected and was recently discharged from Yale child psychiatric care due to his father's passing. I kindly asked Michael to purchase a therapeutic bike for Hunter using the GoFundMe funds to help him through this difficult time, but he declined and has not used the money for my son's benefit. The purpose of the GoFundMe was to assist my son with his care following his father's death, and now is the crucial time for Hunter to receive support. Hunter's special needs make this assistance even more critical, and a therapeutic bike could greatly benefit him. I am at a loss for what to do next but believe that Michael should fulfill the original intention of the GoFundMe campaign by helping us during this challenging period.
