I am dealing with unauthorized charges and despite efforts from my bank and Visa, the issue remains unresolved. I attempted to address the problem with GetAround, but they were uncooperative and unhelpful. Consequently, my bank will deduct nearly $[redacted] for the temporary deposit related to this issue. Visa traced a rental to a Jose Gonzalez on a Ford Fusion, alleging the charges were mine. However, I have no affiliation with this company and have never rented a car from them. It seems likely my card details were compromised, potentially at a gas station. GetAround must reimburse me, despite their denial, and provide details of these transactions. Unfortunately, they no longer offer phone support or live chat. I am adamant about getting a refund for the unauthorized charges.

I am extremely disappointed that the customer service phone number provided is not functional. I regret not being aware of this prior to my booking. I need to report an incident involving one of your drivers, Chantal Marie Smith. She crossed a double solid yellow line into oncoming traffic in an attempt to make a left turn about [redacted] yards before the left turn lane on Vermont Ave towards Olympic Blvd. She hit my left side mirror in the process. I have footage of the incident from my dash cam. It was discovered that the car she was driving belonged to Getaround, and she had no insurance. I tried calling the provided number but it was not in service. The dealership quoted the replacement mirror assembly at $[redacted].99 including tax, and I am willing to install it myself at no charge. I had trouble ending my trip as I couldn't get a signal in downtown San Francisco. I attempted multiple times but kept being directed to contact Getaround, with no phone option available. Very frustrating. Additionally, the gas gauge showed almost 1/4 empty after driving only 4 miles. I took photos as proof but was unable to complete the closeout process.

I lost my iPhone and Driver's License recently. I replaced both, but the DMV only issued a temporary paper license without a photo. When I tried to reinstall the Getaround app, it asked for a photo ID or Driver's License as proof of identity. Since I only had the temporary license without my photo, I took a selfie and a picture of the temp license for the app. Unfortunately, it was flagged as an invalid ID. I submitted a support request on the Getaround website, received an email saying they are reviewing the situation. Given my past experience with their customer service, I doubt my email will be addressed promptly. Phone support would have been more efficient in this case.

My Getaround account is currently under investigation. This occurred because my ex-boyfriend mistakenly used my driver's license during an emergency situation. I contacted their support team and provided the required selfie with my driver's license, although there was a delay as I had to locate my lost wallet first. Despite sending the necessary documents, I have not received a response from Getaround via email. I have been patiently waiting for their feedback, however, it has been a considerable amount of time now. I am eager to resolve this issue and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone directly about my account.

I am currently facing challenges finding a weekly car rental for Uber services in Denver, CO. I have been facing difficulties as cars are not readily available when I attempt to book one. Yesterday, my son received an email from Getaround stating they had delisted our [redacted] Ford Escape, located in Seattle. Despite having a fully charged battery, the car won't start, and the computer does not recognize the key. Getaround plans to remove the electronics within 30 days. My account was suspended without any explanation. A person named Tony was added to my account without my knowledge. I have been trying to contact customer service for over a week to speak with a supervisor, but nobody has reached out to me. I lost my job due to arriving late on days when I rented a car, only to find them dirty, empty of gas, and filled with pet hair, even though I always return cars clean. I am being charged for cleaning a car I never rented, a Ford Focus that was already dirty and smelly. I provided documentation as requested, but my account was still suspended by Ren Sogueco. Unauthorized charges have caused my bank account to overdraw. I am seeking a refund and resolution to the issues with my account. I have been a loyal customer and deserve better treatment.

Urgent Help Needed from Getaround
I rented a car from Getaround on January 13th, with the rental period ending today at 1:00 pm. When I tried to extend the rental through the mobile app, I discovered my account had been deactivated by a Getaround staff member. This led to the engine of the vehicle being deactivated while I was driving in San Francisco, leaving me unable to return the car to its original pickup location.
Getaround has caused significant inconvenience during my rental period, and I am now looking to end our business relationship. I am seeking assistance in paying any overdue fines and arranging to drop off the vehicle at the initial parking spot.

I made a car rental booking for Friday, January 17th, at 3:30 PM. I had arranged for an Uber to take me to the car at that time. However, the owner called me one minute before 3:30 to inform me that the car was not returned by the previous renter yet. I was charged, but I have not received my refund. I am disappointed that they took my money so quickly but are taking a long time to return it. I spoke to the owner, who promised to refund me, but it's now Monday night, and I have not received any updates or emails regarding the refund. I am frustrated by this situation. I need the car opened right now instead of at noon. It's freezing outside, and I had to get a ride at this time. I've already dropped off my last vehicle. I went through the drop-off process at 10:30 AM in Quincy, Massachusetts, and now I'm in Malden in front of the car. Could you please unlock it for me, even if you need to adjust the return time half an hour earlier? I don't mind. I can handle it tomorrow if necessary. I am willing to pay the extra fee, whether it's six, four, or five dollars, for the additional half hour. It's very cold outside.

I'm Catherine Small. I received an email from my insurance company but couldn't get details or confirm if the accident was reported. I want to report an accident that happened on 2/6/[redacted] around 8:30 am at the intersection of New Hampshire Ave. and Valley Brook Drive. I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light. The driver, Rachel Branch, provided Liberty Mutual insurance with policy number AS[redacted][redacted]. The vehicle involved was a Hyundai with MD Tag#6DX8420. Due to not wearing my glasses and the accident seeming minor, I didn't call the police immediately. Now, I lack information to check if the incident was reported and to provide a claim number to my insurance. I've attached photos of the accident and the insurance details for assistance.

The vehicle has a flat front tire, a damaged rim, and a dented hood suggesting it may have been in an accident, possibly involving a deer or debris. The license plate number is Massachusetts 1MXE65. This car is currently parked at a metered spot on Grant Street near Massachusetts Avenue close to the US Post Office. I recently rented a vehicle that had accumulated parking tickets in December [redacted] and January [redacted] under the previous owner's possession. Three days into my rental in February, the car was booted and then towed the next day due to the unpaid tickets. I have ended my trip, but the vehicle is still in the tow lot.
