Is there a way for car owners to make their vehicle available for GetAround part-time, without having permanent branding stickers on the car? For example, using magnetic stickers that can be put on the car only when it's being used for GetAround rentals could be a good solution. This way, car owners can still use their vehicles for personal purposes without the branding present. It might encourage more people to participate in GetAround if this flexible branding option is available.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my last rental was handled. Most of the customer service representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my situation. I did appreciate speaking to 'Daniel' or 'Danny,' who was the only one willing to assist me. However, each time I had to call back, no one passed my message along or transferred me to him, forcing me to repeat my issue to every new representative I spoke with. I felt deceived when I was promised compensation for gas but only received a small credit amounting to a fraction of what I had initially spent, which was very frustrating.

I am very upset about how my recent rental experience was handled. Most of the customer service representatives I spoke with were unhelpful, incompetent, and lacked empathy. The only person who was willing to assist me was a colleague named 'Daniel' or 'Danny.' Each time I had to hang up, no one bothered to pass along my message or connect me back to him upon my return calls. Repeating my entire ordeal to every new customer service representative I encountered was frustrating. Additionally, I was misled about being compensated for gas expenses after submitting my receipt. Instead of a reimbursement, I received a mere $16 credit, a small fraction of the $40 I initially spent. This situation is completely unacceptable.

I am requesting a refund for my recent experience. My friend wanted to rent a Lexus in San Jose through your ridesharing app. The total cost ended up being over $[redacted] when it was initially quoted at $[redacted] due to a $[redacted] hold that wasn't specified. After some issues, we got the deposit back but were charged $74 for extending the rental, even though the trip hadn't started. On top of this, my friend's account was suspended when trying to access the car, causing further inconvenience. I am dissatisfied with the hidden fees, poor customer service, and the lack of compensation for gas and time wasted. I urge you to refund my money promptly.

My account was cancelled abruptly the day before I had a car reserved to go to work. I typically leave for work at 4 am as I am a nurse. I usually don't check since I trusted you, and if I hadn't caught this, I would have risked losing my job. I contacted your team, explaining my confusion about the cancellation and the urgency due to my job. Despite being assured it was urgent, no one reached out. Fortunately, some fellow car renters were able to help me out. I used to spend an average of $[redacted] per week with your service, yet I have received no communication. This situation is very serious and could have had severe consequences for someone's employment.

I purchased a $40 discount for first-time customers from Groupon and used it to book a Tesla. However, I discovered that luxury cars incur high fees per mile after [redacted] miles, which wasn't mentioned before booking. As my trip exceeds [redacted] miles roundtrip, I had to cancel. Now, when attempting to reserve a standard car, I can't use the discount because the system recognizes the initial Tesla booking. I attempted to rent a car from Getaround for the first time last Friday. However, the app continuously displayed error messages, preventing me from completing the rental process. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, I resorted to taking an expensive Uber instead. Six minutes prior to the rental time, I finally received a confirmation email. It was too late as I had already booked the Uber and was far from the rental location, prompting me to cancel immediately. Despite the pending $40 charge on my account, I allowed some time for a refund. Recently, I received positive feedback from the driver despite never using or being near the car. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a refund for the unused rental.

I am James A. Dorsey, and I noticed a charge of $[redacted].49 on my credit card on Aug. 6, [redacted], for your "Peer Rental" services. This charge was unauthorized as I have never used your service. I contacted your customer service, but was redirected to Mexico. The customer service representative, Fernando, mentioned his supervisor, Hector, was too busy to assist and couldn't provide a corporate contact number.
If I don't receive a response within 24 hours, I will proceed with a chargeback through my bank. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Oregon State Attorney General and the US Attorney in Portland, OR if necessary.

I have been a loyal Getaround customer for about a year now. I have encountered various issues with the cars I rent, including finding marijuana inside, cigarette butts on the floor, different oils, and even getting black substance on my hands and clothes. Despite these challenges, I continued to use the service. However, a few months ago, I had a seizure while in a rented car. Although I am now taking medication to control my seizures, the incident occurred. Later on, I faced a traumatic experience of being sexually assaulted and robbed on my way back from a club. I reported this to the police and showed Getaround the report. Following these events, I was unexpectedly canceled from the service. Despite providing evidence of the incidents and explaining the payment issue I faced due to the assault, the company has not reinstated my account. I need to understand why I was canceled and would appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your attention to this and have a blessed day.

I rented a car from VelarDrive with license plate CE16CZR from September 20th to the 22nd. I received a parking ticket on the 21st, which I promptly informed VelarDrive about. After attempting to appeal the fine unsuccessfully, I paid the £55 penalty.
Recently, I was surprised to receive a fine from Getaround even though VelarDrive had agreed I would handle the initial ticket. Instead of informing me, my account was suddenly blocked as soon as I tried to address this issue.
Could you please unblock my account and resolve this situation?

I want to share my recent experience renting a car from VelarDrive. The vehicle with license plate CE16CZR was rented from September 20th to the 22nd. On the 21st, I received a parking ticket which I promptly informed VelarDrive about. After discussing it with her, I paid the fine of 55£ as agreed.
However, over a month later, I was surprised to receive an additional fine from Getaround for the same incident. VelarDrive assured me I would handle the parking ticket, so I was taken aback by this new charge. To add to my frustration, my Getaround account has been blocked as soon as I tried to address this matter with them and the owner.
I kindly request that my account be unblocked and restored, as well as an explanation for the extra [redacted]£ charge on top of the previously settled fine.

I rented a car through Getaround on November 15th via the Uber app to earn money as my main source of income. On the 19th, Uber suddenly disabled my account, requiring me to verify myself at a Greenlight hub. Unfortunately, the nearest hub is two hours away from my school, and my schedule is packed with internships and studying during the week. The hubs are closed on weekends, so I have to wait until my vacation starts on November 26th to attempt verification, which could take an additional 3-5 business days. Since this situation was beyond my control and I received no prior warning, I am asking for a one-week extension at no extra cost due to Uber's account issue, which I was not informed about before.

The incident occurred on Sunday night during a rental extension. Despite promises of a supervisor callback, none came, leading to the extension to await the call. When no resolution appeared, I tried to return the vehicle, but Mr. Victor deactivated the car remotely, citing the return time had passed.
I found myself parked for two hours, seeking explanations for potential late fees unjustly imposed due to the situation. Subsequently, my account was put under review and suspended without clarity. Victor handled all my inquiries afterward, ignoring my attempts for resolution.

I experienced identity theft recently by someone who was a former friend now in prison. Unfortunately, there are other victims of this person as well. He used my credit card details for transactions with "Get Around" and Oxford Suites among other merchants. Despite resolving most of the unauthorized charges through my bank, I have struggled with retrieving refunds from "Get Around" and Oxford Suites. I have provided them with all the necessary documentation but they have not refunded my money. In August [redacted], I was charged by Get Around, but I only noticed it in early October. I reached out to Get Around, was assured the amount would be refunded, but it never was. Despite providing plenty of documentation, there has been no follow-up from Get Around. The individual responsible is now in jail. Get Around should correct this by reversing the transaction.

I have never damaged any vehicle while driving on Getaround. I refuse to pay for any damages as this accusation is false. I am seeking immediate contact to understand how this situation arose. The last time I utilized a Challenger, I returned it without any issues. I have a consistent history of driving weekly without any incidents. Approximately two weeks ago, I rented a Challenger to go to the mall with my girlfriend, and after finding the car near a construction site, I parked it in a nearby lot where other Getaround vehicles were located. I assure you there was no damage caused to the car during my usage. I have responsibly driven and parked all the cars I've borrowed through the app. I demand further explanation about these baseless charges and need to know how my name got associated with this incident. I do not accept any responsibility for damages I did not incur and expect this matter to be resolved promptly.
