Our daughter and son-in-law purchased a Samsung TV with a 5-year protection plan for us as a Christmas gift in [redacted]. After the TV broke and a technician visit, we were promised a gift certificate for a new TV via email within 30 minutes, but it never arrived. Subsequent attempts to receive the gift card by mail also failed despite promises made by customer service representatives Steve and Greg. Most recently, a visit to Best Buy and a message sent by Austin to the Resolution Department have not resulted in any progress after waiting six weeks without a TV. We hope for a prompt resolution given the extra cost for this service paid by our family.

In February [redacted], the Geek Squad at Coeur d'Alene Best Buy installed a new battery in my Apple 11 iPhone. Initially, the battery worked well, holding a charge efficiently. However, I have noticed a rapid depletion, going from [redacted] percent to 60 percent within 3 to 4 hours. By mid-afternoon, it requires a recharge at 30 percent or less. I am looking to resolve this by having a qualified technician inspect and potentially replace the battery if deemed faulty.

I have a Geek Squad account, but I'm unsure how to get assistance with this issue. I recently switched from an old Android phone purchased from Republic Wireless to a new Android Moto G 5G purchased from them. During the transfer, my old Facebook information did not transfer, and a new Facebook account opened on the new phone. I'm experiencing issues with my Motorola Android device. My apps and Play Store won't update due to continuous system updates and NFC. Additionally, I have discovered photos on my phone that I didn't take, unapproved apps popping up such as screen recording and NFC services, and unwanted features like dual SIM settings that turn off my SIM. I also notice hidden menu apps and permission controller apps that I can't uninstall. Gboard dominates my phone with emoji keyboards, and I have no volume. Sometimes, Do Not Disturb or Bedtime mode activate without my consent, causing me to miss notifications. Moreover, my Gmail only receives specific messages. This recurring problem persists across all nine phones I've had.

I recently had my laptop serviced and a new drive installed. However, I haven't used it since due to personal reasons and health issues, including Covid19 and family bereavements. Unfortunately, I also misplaced the power cord, making it impossible to test the laptop until now. I have now discovered that my touchscreen feature is not working, which seems to have been disabled when the new drive was installed. I recently had a Total-Tech agent spend approximately 2 hours working on resolving some issues on my computer. I was assured that the problems could be fixed without my presence at the computer. However, upon returning to my computer, I found that the same issues persist. Firstly, the McAfee anti-virus prompts keep appearing, even though my Webroot anti-virus from Best Buy is my primary software. Moreover, I continue to experience difficulties with accessing Outlook; while I can receive emails, I am unable to open, reply, or send new emails as intended. Despite the earlier attempt at resolving these issues, I am unsure of the next steps to take. I would appreciate guidance on how to have another agent remotely access my computer and address these persistent problems.

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo Mail account. Initially, it kept prompting me for the wrong password. Now, this afternoon, it states that my Yahoo Mail account has been disconnected. I am unable to enter the code they are requesting as I cannot access my emails. I am concerned that my account may have been compromised. Could you please assist me in recovering access to my email account? Additionally, I've noticed that not all of my contacts are appearing on the sidebar of my HP Laptop running Windows 10. I recently received an "invoice" with membership number GAM[redacted]0 indicating an activated 3-year membership that charges $[redacted].96 from my account. However, we haven't used Geek Squad since a one-year membership years ago that was canceled. We don't have or need this service currently. I recently built a brand new PC and had the Geek Squad at Best Buy set it up. It worked fine at the store but when I brought it home and connected it to my monitor, all I see is a blank screen with "analog" displayed. I also tried connecting it to a TV, and it turned on but started blinking white and purple at the power on stage. I would appreciate any assistance with this issue. Thank you.

I recently purchased an $[redacted] HP Envy at the beginning of August. Shortly after landing from a flight, I noticed that the screen is cracked. I visited the Best Buy in Myrtle Beach, SC yesterday and spoke with a TV sales representative named "Dave." I was interested in purchasing a Sony Bravia OLED 77" TV on sale for $2,[redacted].00, but they were out of stock. After checking several other Best Buy locations and regional supply, Dave suggested buying the TV from Costco across the street and having Best Buy's Geek Squad handle the installation. We bought the TV from Costco, but after multiple failed attempts to reach Dave at Best Buy, we were unable to schedule the installation. My Surface Pro X has been having issues, so I sought help from Geek Squad. We decided to transfer files to an external hard drive and reset the computer. However, it is now stuck in a continuous update loop. After resetting, it restarts but fails to update. Instead, it displays a page explaining that it will attempt to restart and update, but this process is not successful. I have attempted this process around 25 times without any luck.
