I own a Garmin 3790LMT GPS that requires an update, specifically new maps. Recently, I upgraded to Windows 10 on my computer. Unfortunately, the files I previously used for updates on Windows 7 are not working or installing properly on Windows 10.
I recall having a My Garmin account with the username sierradeux and password barbarella33. However, I'm unable to log in, likely due to inactivity over the years.
I am seeking guidance on which updating software is suitable for my device and where to download it. I came across a site that required payment for updates, but I have lifetime free map updates, so I decided not to proceed with that option.

I recently got the Vivoactive 4S, but the battery isn't performing as expected. I can't use it for exercising yet as I haven't been cleared post C-section. The watch is only being used as a timepiece, with no GPS, low backlight, and quick timeout to save battery. Today, it's in locked mode, and after charging it fully at 9 am, it's now at 37% by 8:42 pm. I need a replacement watch that can last longer than a day.

I am experiencing issues with my Garmin DC40 collar. Despite recently installing a new battery, the collar refuses to turn on or charge properly. Following advice from Lion Country Dog Supply, where I purchased two collars, I have been informed that this is a common problem. I am a hunting guide at a small game resort in Ohio and rely heavily on these collars during my daily guiding duties throughout the winter. Hello! I was gifted a Vivosmart 4 last Christmas with the serial number #5NL035441. A few months back, I noticed a bulge near the charging area, but it was still functioning. Recently, the bezel popped out due to swelling around the battery. I believe the battery may have malfunctioned or leaked. I can share a photo if needed. I own a VivoActive HR that is around 2 years old. Recently, it stopped connecting to my phone and displaying any data. My Motorola G7 phone is unable to find the device, even after multiple restart attempts. I have updated the phone's software, but the issue persists.
Within the watch's Settings > Bluetooth menu, it displays Status as WAITING and I am unable to pair it with my mobile device. I am at a standstill and unsure of how to resolve this situation.

I bought the F245Music less than a month ago, and the Up button and Start/Stop button have stopped clicking properly and often get stuck. The upward feature now controls the menu erratically, and the start/stop button is so sticky that it affects my running. This just started happening, and it's quite frustrating. Today, on December 28, [redacted], I tried to update the map for my Nuvi350. I entered my credit card details to proceed with the download. After finishing the process, I realized there wasn't enough space on my device to complete the update, even though I have a 2 GB SD card inserted. My order number is [redacted]58. I did not receive the update, and I request that the charge be removed from my credit card. Could you please advise me on what size SD card I need to download the full map of the Lower 48 States?

While swimming laps, my Garmin watch's screen suddenly went blank. I have tried recharging it several times and also attempted to turn it on and off, all without success. This watch is crucial for me as I wear it 24/7 to monitor my heart rate due to a heart condition. I have reached out to Garmin multiple times but have only received a survey instead of an actual response. I need assistance as soon as possible since this is the third time I have been trying to contact Garmin without any resolution to my issue.

I am interested in proposing the addition of deep water running as a tracked sport on Garmin watches. Deep water running is a workout where actions are similar to running but take place in water. It differs in speed, heart rate, and physical distance covered, making tracking it as a regular run inaccurate. Many athletes, including myself, use deep water running for rehabilitation, fitness maintenance, and enjoyment.
Would it be possible to explore the inclusion of deep water running as a recognized sport for Garmin tracking? Thank you for considering this suggestion.

I have a question about the Garmin G5 instrument configuration in my certified aircraft. I recently had the Garmin G5 HSI installed, and I noticed that there is a pitch adjustment option on the main screen that allows for adjustment of +/- 5 degrees. I believe this option should not be available in a certified aircraft per the STC guidelines. According to the manual, the unit should align itself automatically without the need for manual adjustments. I suspect that my instrument might be set up incorrectly, and I would like to verify that it should indeed align itself automatically without manual intervention. Furthermore, I believe the option to adjust the pitch manually should not be enabled on a certified aircraft. Thank you, M.

We were charged $[redacted].99 by Easy Software Solution to fix drivers on my computer. They were recommended by your customer service for updating my GPS. Unfortunately, the company did not resolve the issue and was unhelpful when I reached out for a solution. They were rude, uncooperative, and refused to refund the charges. After checking with the Better Business Bureau, it appears that this company has fraudulent activities. As a result of being directed to them by your customer service, I kindly request your assistance in addressing this issue.

I own a Garmin [redacted]. Lately, when I power it on, it only stays on for about 5 seconds and then shuts down. There isn't even enough time to press “ENT.” I attempted to use a flashlight to check if the brightness was the problem, but the screen goes completely black after a few seconds.
Despite trying to charge it, take out the battery, and use an external power source, nothing seems to work. It was functioning correctly a few days ago and is currently running version 7.70. Please assist me with this issue.

I have a Garmin [redacted] Music that I have been using for nearly a year. Recently, I have noticed a significant decline in the battery life, surpassing what the specifications promise. For instance, during an outdoor run the other day, I began with a 48% charge, ran for about [redacted] minutes with minimal breaks, and did not use music. Upon finishing the run, the battery level fluctuated between 22% and 24%. Similar runs of approximately an hour have led to more than a 30% drain in the battery.
I regularly update the firmware and app, and I am curious if this issue qualifies as a defect.

Hello, I want to bring to your attention an issue I am currently facing with my Fenix 3 HR watch. Recently, I updated my Garmin Connect App on the Play Store to the latest version, and ever since then, I have been experiencing difficulty with Bluetooth connectivity. I am using an Android phone with the latest version 10.0. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the apps multiple times, I am still unable to connect my devices via Bluetooth. Hello team,
Last month, my wife gave me a Garmin Instinct watch for my birthday. I really enjoy the watch, but I've noticed that the heart rate monitoring function is not accurate. I have compared it with two other heart rate monitors, a Fitbit and one from my gym, which both show similar readings while the Garmin does not.
My wife purchased the watch from Amazon US, and we are currently residing in Canada. I am wondering if there is a way for you to send me a replacement in Canada. If that's not possible, I may have to send the watch back to the US at a friend's address.

Hello, I'm Patricia Goree. Recently, I purchased a GPSMAP 76cs from your store. I am interested in obtaining more detailed maps for it, specifically the Topo US 24K Southeast Map and the Huntview Plus Map for Georgia. I plan to download the TOPO Southeast Map and acquire the microSD card for the HuntView of Georgia. However, I'm uncertain about how to view specific maps on my device. I've noticed there are Marine and Recreational settings on the GPS that utilize different maps. Could you please clarify how the GPS selects which map to display? The information in the owner's manual is a bit unclear to me.

I am facing an issue with my Garmin Instinct watch disconnecting from my Android phone (LG V50 ThinQ) after just 2 days of use. I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps recommended both on forums and within the Connect app itself, including restarting devices, toggling Bluetooth on/off, clearing app data and cache, updating software, and even resetting the watch to factory settings. Despite all these efforts, I am still unable to connect the watch to the phone or receive a sync code. I bought my Garmin 245x Forerunner watch around last summer, possibly in August. The software has been functioning well, but I encountered a problem with the physical part of the watch. The interchangeable wristband was easy to swap before. However, while attempting to change the band last week, the small notch that secures the band broke off, making it impossible for the band to stay attached. Despite my previous successful exchanges, the band broke this time. I acknowledge that I should have been more cautious, but given the high price I paid for the watch, I believe it should endure a simple band replacement. I didn't handle it aggressively; it broke while I was being gentle. I am reaching out for assistance in obtaining a replacement. Your help is highly appreciated.

I have 3 Garmin devices with peculiar issues. Firstly, a [redacted] handheld Nuvi had a period of not finding satellites but mysteriously resolved itself.
Secondly, a [redacted] marine chartplotter is struggling to locate satellites and repeatedly shows "abnormal shutdown" messages in the event log. It's used on a boat but well-protected.
Lastly, a 45xx chartplotter accurately determines its position but can't display the date or time.
All devices haven't been updated with software changes. I'm unsure if these issues stem from hardware failure, configuration glitches, or the unexpected. Quite a puzzling situation for someone knowledgeable about Garmins.
