I am seeking assistance with issues related to my purchases in Dubai (****) and my recent purchase of the Drivesmart **. I visited Garmin outlets in the UK at Halfords, Currys, and another store, but no one could resolve my problems. I am concerned about the lack of follow-up support. After updating my Dubai purchase in Switzerland, all Middle East programs got lost. Despite contacting Garmin via email and phone calls, I did not receive the promised reinstatement. The Drivesmart ** I received as a gift had voice command issues in the UK and required additional accessories for traffic control, which were not communicated to me at the time of purchase. The sales staff at Inter Discount (St. Gallen) was unhelpful. I feel frustrated by the lack of proper guidance from Garmin staff at the point of sale. Additionally, my email was previously linked to an Emirates account, which is now inactive.

I need assistance with two Garmin purchases: one made in Dubai (****) and a recent one, Drivesmart **. I visited Garmin outlets in the UK at Halfords, Currys and another store but received no help. I worry there's no follow-up support. After updating the Dubai purchase in Switzerland, all ME East programs were lost. Despite promises from Garmin, nothing was reinstated. The Drivesmart ** purchased as a gift has voice command issues in British English in Switzerland. It also requires a special cable for traffic control, not disclosed at the time of purchase. Store staff at Inter Discount in St. Gallen were unhelpful. The devices sent me on incorrect routes in the UK. My email changed from [redacted] to [redacted] and [redacted] I'm in Switzerland at CH9008. I need the [redacted] to work with ME and world maps, and the Drivesmart 50 to function properly in English. I'm struggling to use GetHuman due to phone number issues.

Hello,
I have been using a Garmin Edge [redacted] for years for cycling. Recently, the mileage tracking has stopped working, even though the speed is still registering. I tried to fix it multiple times without success, so I purchased a new Garmin Edge [redacted]. I like the [redacted] and managed to upload data to Garmin Connect once in December [redacted]. However, today I'm having trouble uploading the data. The system gives me an error about the file type. I would appreciate a step-by-step guide on how to upload my Garmin [redacted] data to Garmin Connect. I enjoy the visuals on Garmin Connect and only use a heart rate monitor with the [redacted]. I've updated both Garmin Express and the Garmin [redacted]. I only want to upload data to Garmin Express for my personal use. I am using a Windows 10 desktop PC.
Thank you,
Van R.

I am seeking assistance with issues regarding my past purchase made in Dubai (****) and a recent purchase of Drivesmart **. I visited Garmin outlets in the UK at Halfords, Currys, and another location, but no one could resolve my problems. I am beginning to question if there is adequate follow-up support. The Nuvi [redacted] bought in Dubai worked fine until I updated it in Switzerland and lost all Middle East programs. Despite multiple attempts through emails and phone calls, Garmin did not reinstate the programs as promised. Additionally, the Drivesmart 50 I received as a Christmas gift encountered issues with voice commands not available in British while in Switzerland, and I was not informed about necessary accessories like a special cable for traffic control. The lack of proper guidance from the staff at Inter Discount in St. Gallen has left me frustrated. Please note that my email address has changed from [redacted] to [redacted], and now to [redacted] due to security reasons. I have been unable to receive support from GetHuman as they do not accept Swiss telephone numbers. All communication needs to be in English.

I am seeking assistance with issues I've faced with my previous purchase of Nuvi [redacted] in Dubai and my recent purchase of Drivesmart 50. Despite trying to get help at various Garmin outlets in the UK, I have not received any support and feel disappointed with the lack of follow-up assistance. When I updated my Nuvi [redacted] in Switzerland, the Middle East programs were lost despite promises of reinstatement from Garmin, which never materialized despite multiple attempts to contact them. The Drivesmart 50 I received as a gift had limitations with the Voice command feature and required an additional cable for traffic control, neither of which was communicated during purchase. The staff at the store in St. Gallen were unhelpful, and the overall lack of support from Garmin for the past two years has left me frustrated. I have tried to address these issues but have had no success, and I am considering switching to another brand for better service.

I recently purchased a Garmin Instinct with software version 4.0. I'm a bit concerned about the reliability of the sleep data it provides. When comparing a screenshot from a few days ago with the current sleep log, I noticed discrepancies. For instance, my total sleep time on Saturday appears to be 7 hours and 36 minutes in the log, but my screenshot from that day shows 7 hours and 19 minutes. I'm puzzled by these changes - could it be due to how the device measures sleep? It seems to include a small portion of Friday night when viewed on Saturday morning. I'm wondering if the system calculates sleep differently retrospectively.

My Forerunner 35 doesn't seem to connect to any network or automatically adjust the date and time upon startup as advised. The battery doesn't last as long as advertised, only two days instead of the nine stated online. After that, the watch goes completely black and doesn't turn on when pressing the Power button. Additionally, it takes a while for the watch to show it's charging after being connected, sometimes taking a day or more after shutting off.

I recently used my Garmin on a trip and it consistently rerouted me, avoiding toll roads and leading me on longer routes. The decisions made by the GPS added at least an hour to my travel time and caused unnecessary delays. I prefer the most efficient and time-saving route, even if it includes toll roads. I ended up spending extra time driving due to these unexpected detours. I am looking for guidance on adjusting the settings to enable toll roads in the GPS tools to prevent this issue in the future.

I recently purchased the CD-ROM Lake Master Wisconsin and have obtained the 25-digit unlock code. I have been utilizing Basecamp in conjunction with my Garmin 62s for an extended period, dating back to the inception of Basecamp. After setting up Basecamp on my new computer, I encountered difficulty when attempting to access the Lake Master maps. Upon entering the 25-digit code and proceeding to the next step, I am redirected to a page displaying only coding instead of the expected content. I am eager to utilize this program and would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

I have encountered two problems with my Garmin [redacted]. Initially, the Altitude Sensor ceased functioning for approximately a month despite attempting a Hard reset twice and soaking the device overnight, but to no avail. Recently, it started recording Elevation gain/loss; however, the figures are higher than anticipated.
Simultaneously, I've faced a second issue. Around the same time the altitude sensor started working again, I noticed that when I initiate recording for a bike ride, it gets stuck within 1-3 seconds, failing to record any distance. Simply starting and stopping the activity does not resolve the issue; I'm required to turn off the watch with the activity frozen. After restarting, the recording functions as expected.

Last week, I contacted support through email at [redacted], requesting an exchange for my GPSmap 741xs unit. I prefer to proceed with option 2 for the replacement process. The serial number of the unit is 32w018713. Option 1 involves submitting payment information via email, mailing the device, being charged upon arrival, and receiving a replacement. With option 2, after submitting payment information, my card will be charged twice the out-of-warranty exchange price, and a replacement will be immediately shipped. Upon receiving the device at the provided address, half of the charge will be refunded.

After updating my Garmin Etrex 30x maps for four hours, it now won't reload. The screen displays an error saying the maps can't authenticate and to contact the seller for help. Initially, everything appeared fine as it located another geocache. However, it now struggles to start up, and when trying to load geocaches from my laptop, it shows a success message but nothing shows up on screen. The Etrex displays "No results found" and advises adjusting search parameters.

I bought a Garmin Drive 62 and encountered issues updating the maps. Despite multiple attempts like uninstalling Garmin Express twice, restarting the computer twice, and reinstalling the Garmin 62 three times, I keep facing an "unable to update" error. I hope you can check the error messages remotely and advise on the necessary steps to update the maps successfully. Updating the maps is essential for me, and I am using the latest version of Garmin Express.

Hello, I hope you're doing well. On April 18, I purchased a VivoActive3 for my wife. She found the watch fantastic for her workouts. Unfortunately, last week, the screen suddenly stopped working and remains blank, although the pulsation sensor is functioning. Despite attempting to reset the watch multiple times, the screen stays unresponsive. I am now inquiring about the warranty process and seeking guidance on how to proceed with this issue.

I have a Garmin Forerunner [redacted] that I have cherished over the past two years. As a high school runner, this watch has been essential for tracking my miles. I purchased it refurbished from the Garmin website before my freshman year, and it has been well taken care of. Recently, after a swim in the ocean, the power button started malfunctioning. Despite its waterproof features, the power button now seems stuck, causing the watch to act as if a button is being pushed continuously. I have tried the usual troubleshooting steps to no avail. The power button has become completely unresponsive, even when the watch is turned off. Unfortunately, the warranty has expired, and as a 16-year-old who bought the watch with my own money, I am hoping to find a way to repair or replace it without having to buy a new one. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

I've used 14 Garmin products since [redacted], starting with the Garmin 45, 45XL, III, IV, Rinos, Zumo [redacted], Nuvis, and Montanas. I've enjoyed their reliability but recently faced a challenge. I bought the Garmin [redacted] and ECHOMAP PLUS 62SV for my boats, hoping they would show lake details. To my dismay, they didn't. So, I purchased 2 Lake VU 3g Ultra SD cards for each, spending over $[redacted] each. Despite selecting the West US SD cards, they didn't work for Alaska. I'm disappointed as I've spent close to $[redacted] on these products which aren't useful to me in Alaska. I hope for a specific solution from Garmin that addresses my unique situation.

I recently bought two Garmin SV93 units with LiveScope from Bass Pro, but the installation was done poorly. During my first trip out, I discovered that the Garmin at the front was not working. After testing with a voltmeter, I determined that the cradle was faulty. I contacted Garmin, and a helpful representative quickly processed a replacement cradle for me. However, when I followed up two weeks later, I encountered a rude and unhelpful representative who seemed to be escalating rather than resolving the issue due to language barriers. It's been three weeks since I initially contacted Garmin, and despite investing over $5,[redacted] in their products, I am still without a functioning cradle. I would appreciate a follow-up on this matter. Thank you for your assistance. Contact me at [redacted]. My name is S. Bryson.

Hello. I am attempting to utilize Garmin Express on my Mac to switch my echomap chirp sv94 (S/N 4LW001646) US Boats Great Lakes and Coastal map to BlueCharts. I've already updated the software from version 3.20 to 4.30 and am using the same SD card for this map update. Although Garmin Express is prompting me to pay $99 for the upgrade, I believe it should be complimentary since I acquired the echomap chirp from the previous owner of my boat. How can I access the updated maps? Thank you, Jeff at [redacted] or [redacted] (Garmin account name: makowish)

If I uninstall Garmin Express to reinstall it, will I lose my historical activity data? Kindly provide guidance on resolving this issue.
Thank you,

A few years ago, I purchased a Garmin GPS with lifetime map updates. On May 28, [redacted], I tried to update my GPS but was directed to contact customer support on your website.
After speaking with a customer support representative, I was asked to grant access to my computer for the Garmin update. Subsequently, they claimed my computer had issues and insisted on a $99.99 payment for assistance.
I'm concerned that this was a scam as my system might not have had any problems. I ended up being billed $99.99 by Techsist Web Solution for unnecessary services.
Having been a loyal Garmin customer, I am disheartened by this experience and question the integrity of your company. I am eager to receive a response from a representative to address this matter.
Best regards,
B. Barlow
