I attempted to rename our band's Facebook page from "As If" to "The White Bronco," but Facebook rejected the change citing potential confusion. We have a show scheduled in two weeks, and it would be clear to update the name now. I appealed the decision, but Facebook has not responded. I just want Facebook to approve the name change so our event promotions align with the band's current name. This procedure shouldn't be so difficult. Any help would be welcomed!

I recently noticed that my son, Ryan Schrimpf's, Facebook account has been deleted. As his mother, Donna Schrimpf, I did not authorize this removal. I typically used his page to inform others of his passing. I am unsure why this occurred but suspect his ex-girlfriend may have been involved. I am his legal next of kin. Could you please provide information on why this happened and how I can have his account and page reinstated? You can contact me via Facebook, Messenger, or at [redacted]

I have a problem with a client who wanted to advertise on my Facebook page @africanstylemagazine. They asked me to join their Ad manager, and now I can't remove them or their clients. Can Facebook help me remove the Ad manager and its clients from my page or give me full access back to my page as it was three days ago?

I recently made a comment in response to another user and received a 7-day suspension for it. Despite not violating any hate speech policies, my account was erroneously labeled as such. I have requested a review, but Facebook has yet to provide a clear reason for the suspension. I'm concerned about the apparent double standard, especially when accounts like the El Paso Domestic Terrorist's remain active despite hateful content. I am eager for a thorough explanation from Facebook regarding the suspension of my account.

I currently have two deactivated Facebook accounts, but I only wish to recover one of them. My original account is under the name “Amber Short” with the email [redacted] A few weeks ago, I was logged out and cannot recall the password. Unfortunately, I cannot use the email for recovery as it is an old address. I also do not have my cell number [redacted] linked to that account. About a week ago, I created a new account under the same name and email [redacted], and added my cell number [redacted]. However, within 12 hours, a friend flagged this new account as an impostor, leading to its deactivation. I have tried various methods to recover my original account, which contains irreplaceable memories and photos. As a pastor, social media is crucial for me, and I urgently need assistance in recovering my original account.

I am a member of a group called Unsubtle Depressed People Traits. Recently, there has been significant turmoil with the admins and mods due to swapping and drama. Certain individuals who are now mods and admins are engaging in trolling, hate speech, and toxic behavior with the aim of getting the page shut down. I am concerned about this and would like to find a way to address this issue without negatively impacting other group members. Anyone who speaks out against them is being removed from the group and faced with harassment and doxxing. The individuals responsible for these actions are Lau Tiandi, Maisy Angevine, Martha P Johnson, and Chloe Su. They targeted a 17-year-old, incorrectly labeling her as a nazi and white supremacist, despite her being Jewish and no racist content being present in her messages, which sparked the current situation.

Hello, I am writing about my Facebook account under the name Doodee Leigh. Everyone in my hometown knows me by that nickname. I had set up two-factor authentication on my Facebook account using my iPhone 6. Unfortunately, my phone stopped working, so I bought a new iPhone 6s Plus from Walmart. However, when I tried to log in, I couldn't receive the login code because Facebook deactivated my phone number ending in [redacted]. This is confusing because that number is still in use. I really need to access my account and am willing to provide any necessary information or answer security questions to prove my identity. Please assist me in regaining access to my account. Thank you.

My account was flagged due to my name "Gypsie Traveler," which I use as my artist and writer pseudonym. Despite my efforts to comply with the Facebook policy by keeping my real name hidden on my profile, I am concerned about my safety if I am forced to publicly display it. I have experienced abuse from family members in the past, and my alias has been essential for my emotional well-being and protection. I kindly request to maintain a different name on my profile than what is on my ID. I have shared my real name with Facebook but have kept it hidden to prevent being searched that way. If necessary, I am willing to change to a more conventional name that still ensures my safety. However, I am unwilling to use my real name publicly. I urge for the opportunity to access my profile briefly to download important photos before considering any further actions. Thank you for understanding. -Gypsie Traveler

I have been facing repeated issues with Facebook's blocking algorithm since late last year and it seems like the problem has resurfaced recently. Over the weekend, while I was posting as usual, I noticed that I couldn't like a post and when I tried to message a friend, Messenger displayed a message in red text saying that I wasn't allowed to do so. Upon attempting to make a post, I discovered that I was blocked for 7 days. The reason provided was that a post I made, sharing a trailer for a movie called The Hunt, was flagged for nudity. However, the trailer only showed a living woman's headshot with a bar in her mouth, not containing any nudity. This issue occurred earlier this year as well when I commented with a Facebook-approved gif of Marvel's Elektra and got blocked for nudity. When I requested a re-examination, it was denied almost instantly. It appears that the system is fully automated with no human review process, which is frustrating. Additionally, attempting to contact them about the error is also blocked. There is a serious need for someone to address these issues with Facebook.

On Sunday, July 28, [redacted], I received a notification about an unusual attempt to access my Facebook page, DeMetriix Dee-Dee Debonaire. I didn't recognize the attempt, so I answered no and changed my password. Shortly after, I got the same notification, assuming it was related to my recent login, I clicked yes. The next morning, when I tried to log in, I was locked out. I've been trying to contact the help center about the account takeover all week but haven't had any luck. I realized the email linked to the account was changed from [redacted] I have no other way to recover my account as the system keeps asking for the original email. I believe this is my page because I manage the blog Unconditionallyme and am an admin for the SHArcher Class of [redacted] reunion page. I'm uncomfortable uploading an ID after my account was compromised. I hope to regain access to my page, DeMetriix Dee-Dee Debonaire, which I've had for over 10 years. I am experiencing a very distressing situation involving Yvonne Wilke on Facebook. Her posts contain untrue and harmful accusations against me, leading to threats of violence. Moreover, I have uncovered concerning discrepancies in a fundraiser she organized, as the funds seem to have gone directly to her rather than a legitimate charitable organization as initially presented. The lack of evidence showing that the homeless community received any aid from this campaign is deeply troubling. I have tried to address these issues with Yvonne via Messenger. This harassment and deception have put me in a dangerous position, and I urgently need assistance in resolving this matter. Kindly reach out for more details. Thank you, Lynn Grimshaw.

My daughter's Facebook account has been compromised. Despite our attempts to regain access, the hacker has altered all recovery information. The account user's name is Tanischa Lammers. The hacker has replaced the recovery email with f******i@y*****.com and the recovery phone number with +*********42. These details do not belong to Tanischa. Urgent action is needed to revert the account information back to its original state or to provide alternative means to rectify it promptly. I am in the process of reporting this violation to the authorities. Please reach out to me via the given email address to address this matter urgently, as it constitutes a severe security breach and violates Facebook's safety protocols.

Hello, I am Cath King. About four weeks ago, while chatting on Messenger, someone from my friends list, Barry Lewis, messaged me regarding a Facebook list indicating I was a winner. Unfortunately, having recently experienced domestic violence and currently residing in my car, I was vulnerable and fell for this scam. After realizing it was a fraud, I had already shared my password. Now, the scammers have changed my account’s email to theirs and altered my password. I have created a new Facebook account in an attempt to regain access to my original one. I have tried resolving this through Gmail and reaching out to Facebook support. I have valuable photos in that account I am unable to retrieve, and I am a member of DV support groups. I urgently seek assistance as the scammers are using my profile to reach out to my contacts. Thank you.

I created my Facebook account on July 29th. While I was adding friends and they were adding me back, I received a security notification. Initially, it was a request to verify my email. I complied and regained access. As I was interacting with friends and receiving timeline posts, another security alert appeared, this time asking for a picture of myself. I submitted a professional photo not available online. The notification stated my account would be temporarily disabled until the photo was confirmed. I checked multiple times a day to re-access my account. However, on July 31st, I found my account disabled. I followed the instructions to appeal, providing a government ID photo, but did not receive a prompt email response. In my second attempt, I included my name along with the picture. Unfortunately, my account status remains unchanged, and I am eager to regain access to my Facebook page.

This afternoon, August 5th, [redacted], at approximately 3:30 pm, while browsing Facebook, I unexpectedly got logged out of my account. Upon trying to log back in, I received an error message stating that my password had been changed the previous Friday. I never altered my password, leading me to suspect that my account may have been compromised and the password changed by someone else. I was prompted to reset the password, and a code was sent to an old email I no longer have access to, [redacted], which I last used in 2[redacted]. Unfortunately, I have no way to reset my password due to this. Is there a way for you to help me reset it using my preferred email, [redacted], or offer any other assistance? In case of further need, you can reach me at [redacted]. I value my Facebook account and the memories shared on it, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.

Dear Facebook Support, I am grateful for your prompt response. Although my previous issue was resolved a few days ago, I encountered the same problem today. When attempting to log into my account, I received a notification that it was changed 10 hours ago, which was around 1:00 am in the Philippines. I was already asleep at that time and did not make any changes. I have sent an email to [redacted] regarding this matter. I previously sought help from the help center and received a response after a few days. However, I managed to access my account through a different mobile phone. The current issue is that when trying to retrieve my account, the email address for the recovery code is unfamiliar to me, causing concern for my account's security. I urgently request your assistance in resolving this issue as I am worried about my account's safety. Please refer to the attached file for more details. Sincerely, Paul Kevin L.

My Facebook account, Robert Calloway, associated with the email address [redacted], was hijacked by someone in Kirkuk, Iraq. The hijacker changed the recovery email addresses to [redacted] and [redacted], which were then linked to my accounts on Facebook and Google. Whenever I tried to reset the password, the hijacker would change it back and manipulate the recovery options. This situation forced me to communicate with the hijacker through a fake account he set up, essentially blackmailing me to regain access to my Google, Facebook, and Yahoo accounts. Due to numerous complaints from my friends, Facebook disabled my account, and I am currently attempting to recover it.

I own a pressure washing company, Honor Wash Pressure Washing LLC. Recently, a false review was posted under the name "Jim Ryan" trying to discredit my business. I have responded publicly and privately to counter these claims. I strive for [redacted]% customer satisfaction and only accept payment once customers are happy. Despite my efforts to report the review on Facebook by clicking the three dots, I received a message saying the content couldn't be displayed. This situation is unsettling as I have maintained perfect reviews on both Facebook and Google. I'm eager to address this issue with Facebook and prove that the review is inaccurate.

I recently bought a pair of sneakers through a Facebook ad from a company called MOOKY. The shoes were uncomfortable, so I reached out for a refund as per their [redacted]% money-back guarantee policy. Interestingly, they informed me that I would need to return the shoes to China at my own cost for a refund. After pushing for a refund, they offered me a site coupon instead. MOOKY's website has only ten random items, most of which are pricey non-shoe items. They all promise a [redacted]% refund and claim high demand with a 7-10 day delivery period without mentioning they ship from China. They constantly state items are almost sold out (for three weeks). The products are allegedly on heavy discount. I find the advertisement misleading and believe it warrants investigation.
