My Facebook account was misused by someone who catfished a man in my hometown using my name. The man came to my workplace at Best Western Inn in Canton TX looking for "Marcy Weinkauf," showing a photo of the fake profile. I'm 60 years old, not the 20-year-old girl depicted. This caused the man to contact me, upset about the incident. He suggested I change my account details. I tried to change my name to Marcy Weinkauf but ended up creating a new account. Now, I'm locked out of both accounts. How can I regain access to my Facebook profiles?

Is there a way to completely delete old messages on Messenger that were exchanged years ago? I want to ensure that neither the recipient nor I can see these messages again, even if they are saved in the chat history. I aim to start fresh and avoid any potential embarrassment if contacted in the future. I recently noticed that Facebook charged my bank account twice, which I find concerning. I never provided my bank details on Facebook as I usually use PayPal for in-game purchases. The unexpected charges were €50 and then another €90 a week later. I have heard of similar cases where Facebook has wrongly withdrawn up to $2,[redacted] from individuals' accounts. I have been blocked from sharing the website related to the domain wave(.)edu.vn and its subdomains. After researching the community standards, I believe the content on the website does not violate any of the guidelines. I attempted to reach out to Facebook but have not yet received a proper response. I have independently discovered that my website might be mistaken for a fake page due to a link to our associated Fanpage. Do I need to go through Facebook Business and undergo Domain Verification? I am experiencing a block when trying to share a website related to the domain wave(.)edu.vn and other associated subdomains. After researching community standards, I believe the content on the website does not violate any of them. I have tried contacting Facebook but have not received a proper response. I suspect my website may be mistaken for a fake one due to links directing to our related Fanpage. Should we go through Facebook Business verification and domain verification? I have meticulously stored cherished photos and videos of my children in my account for privacy, isolating my network to protect these memories. Yet, when attempting to log in as usual, I discovered that my password had been altered. I exhausted all attempts to reset my password, but unfortunately, the Facebook support team remains skeptical about my account's authenticity. The hacker not only changed my email and phone number but also exploited my inadequate knowledge of modern technology, leaving me unable to resolve the issue. Upon contacting my account through another profile, the individual who seized control claimed to have received it from their sister in Syria. While I am willing to relinquish the account to them, I urgently require the return of my irreplaceable photos and videos, particularly those of my deceased mother, which I have safeguarded since [redacted]. Someone is stalking me across various online platforms such as Kijiji, Letgo, and Facebook based on my postal code and account names. Following negative experiences on Letgo and Facebook, this person continues to target me. I suspect they are filing false reports against my accounts in an attempt to have them shut down. I believe they are using multiple Facebook accounts with the same IP or Mac address to harass me. Many others are facing similar problems. I kindly ask for your attention to this matter. Thank you.

I encountered an issue while attempting to access my account. Initially, I forgot my password and tried to reset it via email. Subsequently, I logged out of all devices to ensure security. Upon logging in again, Facebook requested an access code through my old phone number, which is no longer in use. I verified my identity by submitting a photo with a handwritten code. After a day, I received an email stating that my phone number had been deactivated. Now, when attempting to log in, I am consistently prompted for a login code via SMS. How can I update my phone number if I am unable to access Facebook? Why does the platform keep requesting an SMS code despite my deactivated number? About one or two months back, I initiated a fundraiser on Facebook to gather funds for attending our daughter's college graduation in California. Following an email from Facebook mentioning that I had until June to share our bank account details, my husband and I discovered this afternoon that Facebook unexpectedly deactivated our fundraiser without any notice or clarification! I was planning to provide our checking account information this weekend, and I just did. Facebook needs to return the money and offer an explanation. We have acted in good faith, so why has this happened? I urge Facebook to reinstate my fundraiser promptly. We have not violated any rules.

I received an email on Wednesday, April 10th, notifying me of an attempt to change my account password. Upon trying to log in to rectify this, I discovered my account had been hacked. Despite following the steps outlined on your help page, I have been unsuccessful in regaining access. I added a new email and provided my ID for identity verification, but the emails sent to recover my account are being redirected to the hacker's email. Consequently, I am unable to input the code needed to reset my password due to multiple failed attempts from the hacker. I urgently require assistance with resolving this issue to prevent unauthorized access to my personal information on Facebook, or I would prefer to have my account permanently deleted.

Dear Facebook, I have web addresses registered with Go Daddy - TheBohoGypsyboutique.com, TheBohoGypsy.com, and TheBohoGypsy.boutique. I have a pending trademark for The Boho Gypsy Boutique, which has not been applied for by anyone else besides my company. I have been attempting to create a business page and advertise through FB and Instagram. However, a company based in Arkansas is using The Boho Gypsy Boutique on FB as their Business name, which is my legally registered business name and trademark. They were initially BGB boutique and later changed it. Their web address is Bohogypsyboutique.com. I have tried to create a page named The Boho Gypsy on FB, but FB is not allowing me to add this page. I would like to resolve this matter amicably and appreciate your assistance. I tried to add my phone number to Facebook, but it says it's already linked to another account. I've only ever had one account, so I'm concerned someone may be trying to access my information. I've reached out to Facebook through their help center and phone line. Despite contacting them, the phone service states they are not available for customer calls at any time. While I managed to send messages through the help center, I have not received any assistance after months. The lack of response is disappointing considering the issue at hand. It seems like my number may have been assigned to a previous user or a potential hacker.

My account was deactivated, but it's now active under a new name, Shirley Joppy. I need it to be deactivated. My name is Eric Tasker, and the account number is [redacted]. I don't know how it got reactivated as I had deactivated it months ago and no longer use social media. I can't access it as the password was changed by whoever did this. Please shut it down immediately. Shirley Joppy is not my name, and my friends informed me about this issue. Kindly delete the account.

I need assistance with my account issue. Upon changing some security settings, I was asked to verify my identity by submitting a photo of my passport. After doing so, my account was disabled without explanation. I have submitted appeals with proof of my identity, but I have yet to receive a response. This has been ongoing since January or February. I used to have another Facebook account three years ago, but I no longer use it. It is frustrating that there is no contact number for Facebook support to resolve this matter promptly.
