My name is Rory Asher M. On Monday, my email and Facebook accounts were hacked. The email account [redacted], which I haven't used in years, got compromised, leading to my Facebook being inaccessible. The hacker even removed my phone number from the recovery options on Facebook. Despite this, I can provide other proof of ownership, like my ID, my specific phone model, and my IP address. It seems the hacker's IP address traces back to Turkey, but I reside in Michigan. Additionally, it appears the hacker adjusted the language settings to a foreign language that I can't understand, as I only speak English. The situation is concerning as I'm uncertain about what information the hacker has obtained. I urgently need access to my account restored and for the hacker to be locked out.

I use my business email, which comes from a secure server, to communicate with the board I serve on. Some board members received a suspicious email from someone impersonating me, using a different email address. I need advice on whether I should change my email address and assistance in identifying the person pretending to be me. The email sent was not from my actual email, [redacted], but from a different one, [redacted] Thank you for your help in sorting this out.

I had an account linked to a company phone and email about 3 to 4 years ago. I would like to access it to retrieve some pictures. I can provide the email linked to the account and offer information about its contents. I can't recall the phone number or the password. Nevertheless, comparing it to my current account would confirm it's the same user. Any assistance on this matter would be highly appreciated.

I am writing to address a matter regarding a fake profile under the name Paul Decoy, later discovered to be Coalan Murray. Since last January, this individual has relentlessly harassed my family, falsely accusing my brother of disturbing allegations. The profile contains sensitive information, such as our car registrations and addresses, promoting hate and harassment towards us. Coalan Murray, the person behind this fake profile, has faced legal consequences for these actions and is serving time. Despite multiple reports, the page remains active. I kindly request for your assistance in removing this harmful fake profile. Our family has endured immense stress and pain from this situation. Your prompt action in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to log into my Facebook account from a different device and encountered a security check requesting my birthdate. Unfortunately, due to a mistake, I am now locked out. My account doesn't have a phone number or friends for code sending. I clicked on a link in an email notifying me about the account access attempt without reading it properly, leading to further complications. Currently, I am unable to verify my identity and cannot access my account through the birthdate method. I have access to my email and receive password reset codes, but they are not helping me regain access. How can I prove to Facebook that it's me trying to access my own account? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I have limited experience with technology and have been using Facebook and a smartphone for almost three years now. I find it frustrating that every time there's an update, I have to relearn how to do things. With the recent update, I'm having trouble posting to my timeline because it keeps defaulting to adding to my story instead. I can't easily find my posts in the story section and can't move it to my timeline. I prefer posting directly to my timeline rather than using the story feature. I mainly use Facebook on my Android phone, a Samsung Galaxy 3. I would appreciate detailed instructions on how to revert back to the previous way of posting or simple step-by-step guidance on how to use the current system. Thank you for helping this 50-year-old who struggles with technology. Frustrated, Tina S.

Dear Concerned Party, A few days ago, my Facebook account was impersonated and cloned by someone. I followed advice to delete everything and log into an old account but struggled to remember the password. After multiple failed attempts and even trying the "forgot password" option with a reset code, I ultimately created a new account. However, shortly after, I faced the same issue all over again, ultimately leading to the disabling of all my accounts due to violating terms and conditions. I realized my mistake in accumulating multiple accounts due to password forgetfulness. I've reached out to the help center seeking reinstatement, expressing deep apologies for unknowingly breaking the rules. Despite multiple messages to them, I am still awaiting a response. I sincerely hope to be granted the chance to use my last password on my remaining account. Yours faithfully, Kariema K.

On Monday, November 19th, I tried to access my Facebook account but found myself logged out. When I attempted to log back in, I was met with a notification stating my account was "disabled - ineligible" and I was prompted to submit a ticket if I believed this was a mistake. I did not receive any explanation as to why my account was disabled and I am certain I did not violate any terms of service. While I considered the possibility of being hacked, I could not confirm it. After submitting a ticket and providing a photo of my I.D., I reached out the next day out of frustration as Facebook is crucial for my social connections. I shared additional photos, such as my birth certificate, a check stub, and a picture of myself holding a dated piece of mail. Despite my efforts, I have not received a response. This situation has been extremely challenging for me as I even lost my job due to the inability to communicate via Facebook. I rely on Facebook for personal and professional connections, including providing counseling for friends. I truly hope someone can assist me in resolving this issue. - C. A.

I recently purchased a new phone, the Galaxy Note 9, and unfortunately forgot my password for my Facebook account. Despite trying to reset it multiple times, I never received the SMS code on my phone number [redacted]. Additionally, Facebook prompts me to use a code generator found in the menu, which I cannot access without logging in. I understand the need for verification due to the new device. I have submitted my New York state driver's license and a selfie with a provided code, but have not received a response. Given that my Facebook account is linked to various other accounts, I am eagerly seeking assistance in recovering it. Thank you for your help.

I unintentionally deleted my Facebook account and have been unable to recover it. I created a new account, but I dearly want my old account back as it contains all my cherished memories, photos, and connections with my friends, family, and loved ones. I’ve been a member since [redacted] and have [redacted] friends whom I miss dearly. I've tried reaching out to Facebook multiple times but haven't received a response. My entire life is tied to that account, and I am grateful for any assistance from the Facebook team. My name is Abed Hassan, and I reside in High Point, North Carolina. I work at Zaxby’s Archdale as the Marketing Community Relations Director. I can be contacted via phone, text, or email at any time. My old account is my only link to my loved ones, and I would greatly appreciate any help in recovering it. Thank you and happy holidays to everyone.

I encountered an issue with my Facebook account being locked, and attempted twice to verify my identity by submitting my ID. Although a response acknowledged the submission twice and assured that it should be resolved, the issue persists, prompting me to repeatedly submit my ID. After three days without a resolution, I am unable to access other services like SoundCloud, which requires my Facebook login. There is concern that I may lose access to other accounts such as Instagram. Creating a new account is not preferred as my existing Facebook account is linked to various other services, making it troublesome to switch.

After Facebook's review, my post has been reinstated on the platform, but I'm still facing a block. Here's how it unfolded: - Initially, my post was deemed to violate Community Standards and was removed. - I contested this decision, expressing my disagreement with the deletion. - Facebook initiated a reevaluation of my post. - Today, I received notification that my post aligns with Community Standards and has been restored. Facebook apologized for the initial error and acknowledged the importance of user feedback for improvement.

Over the weekend, someone accessed my personal Facebook page under the name Lee Sandt and changed my password. Despite not changing my profile picture, my account was disabled by Facebook for policy violations. I erroneously submitted profile photos instead of identification required for reinstatement, resulting in multiple unsuccessful attempts. I later understood the ID requirement and resubmitted the form with my Pennsylvania driver's license. Unfortunately, I received no response thereafter. As my personal account is connected to various pages I administer, including my business page, losing access to them is a major concern. The hacker, under the name Pilar Sweet, has exploited my accounts to run unauthorized Facebook ad transactions totaling over $**K, draining my PayPal and Capital One accounts. I have taken steps to secure my accounts and reported the fraudulent activities. I urgently seek assistance in removing the hacker's control and regaining access to my account to safeguard my business interests and prevent further financial harm. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

On November 21, [redacted], I received a friend request from a user named Mellissa Moulin, which I accepted in the morning. Later that day at 1:53 PM, Mellissa sent me two messages. However, when I checked my phone around 6 PM, the messages were gone, and the account seemed to have been deleted. On the messenger app, I saw a notification stating, "this message is no longer available because it was identified as abusive or marked as spam." When viewed on a desktop, it indicated, "This message has been temporarily removed because the sender's account requires verification." Although I understand the privacy constraints, I am curious to know why the messages were deleted. Was it due to lack of verification, spam, or because they were flagged as abusive? I would appreciate guidance on who I can contact to understand the reason for this message blockage. Thank you. -M.K.

Dear Team, I am reaching out on behalf of General Electric Co. (GE) Malaysia regarding our Instagram account, @Gemalaysia. The account was managed by an external agency from [redacted] to [redacted], with GE Malaysia losing access to the account after the contract ended and the managing parties left the agency. Despite contacting the agency, they no longer have the login details. Since May [redacted], the account has remained inactive. We understand that Instagram typically does not delete accounts on behalf of users, but due to the circumstances of this being our official corporate account, we kindly request an exception be made to remove @Gemalaysia. Keeping this inactive account may lead to confusion and duplicate content when we consolidate our content on a single GE Instagram account in the future. Please advise on how we can proceed, and feel free to contact me for any further information needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

To whom it may concern, Hello, Facebook team! I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding the recent removal of my personal account. I am unsure of the reasons behind this action. It seems my account was disabled due to allegations of copyright infringement from individuals. I want to clarify that every time I shared videos, I made sure to credit the original owners and included links to their content. My account holds a decade's worth of memories, important details, and information. Facebook has been my platform of choice since [redacted], as I do not actively use Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media. I kindly request the reactivation of my account so I can regain access to my valuable data. Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Best regards, R.R. Baa valorous22[at]yahoo.com Philippines

This morning, I encountered an issue with my Facebook account. I can't remember the phone number associated with it, so I reset the password using my email. However, every time I try to log in, it prompts me to enter a phone number again for another reset. I have tried various numbers, but none of them are sending me a code. Moreover, my account seems to be invisible to others when they search for it. I've cherished this account for many years, storing countless pictures. My name on Facebook is Cynthia Velez, and the email linked to the account should be [redacted] In my profile picture, I am wearing a black shirt with a Snapchat filter featuring stars above my head. I can't recall the exact Snapchat filter I applied. My date of birth is 07/12, and my cover photo showcases my kids. Please assist me in recovering access to my account.

An individual whom I had granted access to my account has seized control by modifying the email address, phone number, password, and trusted contacts. The ex-employee set himself as a trusted contact, hindering my account recovery as he refuses to provide the code. While attempting to recover the account by indicating I lack access to the current email and phone number, the system prompts for the old email address but sends a code to the new email, which I cannot retrieve. This appears to be a flaw in the process. I possess knowledge of past email addresses and passwords linked to the account, preserved by Facebook. This information should verify my identity as the rightful account owner. How might I proceed to regain control of my account?

I am located in India and currently experiencing difficulties logging into my Facebook account that is linked to my mobile number ending in [redacted]. Yesterday, I was prompted to upload a photo for identity verification, and since then, I have been stuck waiting with no resolution in sight. This account is crucial for me as it is linked to games I play, such as Lords Mobile, where my progress is at risk due to this login issue. I am concerned about the financial implications if this problem persists. Despite reaching out via email multiple times since yesterday, I have not received any assistance. When attempting to reset my password, I do receive an SMS with a new password, but I am continuously redirected to the photo identity verification page upon login. I kindly request the Facebook team to address this matter promptly to restore access to my account and prevent any further inconvenience.
