My Facebook account was unexpectedly closed yesterday for a supposed violation of their rules. As a medical doctor specializing in gynecology and obstetrics with a professorial academic background, I posted a video of a gynecological procedure within a private group exclusively composed of gynecologists familiar with such content. The video was shared as a continuation of a relevant discussion initiated by another similar surgical video previously posted in the group. Throughout my ten-year membership on Facebook, I have consistently adhered to community standards, having shared numerous educational and professional contents without breaching any guidelines. My recent post was intended solely for educational purposes related to gynecological surgery and did not include any inappropriate or explicit material. Hello Facebook Team, I am reaching out to you directly as I have been unable to reach anyone through Instagram support and I am feeling quite desperate. My name is Maria Rabkov and my Instagram username was originally maria_rabkov. However, I have been hacked terribly. The person changed my username to nolan__80ovan09. Furthermore, they also changed the email and password. Therefore, I am completely locked out of my account! I tried to sign in through Facebook, but it seems the connection is gone as Facebook wants me to create a new profile with a different username. I really don't know what else to do. I have contacted Instagram multiple times, but nothing has been done. This is a personal profile with many photos of me. I am willing to provide any identification needed. I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account. I updated my password yesterday and have two-factor authentication through SMS. Despite entering the new password, I am not receiving the code required for login. I have messaged support multiple times with my ID and a photo of me with a code written on paper. The suggested fixes are not helpful as I cannot access my account at all. Disabling two-factor authentication is the only solution, but I can't do it myself as I am locked out. Please address this urgent issue promptly.

On Saturday, a trusted friend sent me a video on Messenger that turned out to be hacked. Unaware of the issue, I left home for a few hours and later discovered that the video had been sent to many of my friends. I've been struggling to access Facebook on my iPad ever since, despite being able to log in on my iPhone. I've tried following the provided instructions, but I always reach a point where I can't proceed due to lack of access to required information. I trust that Facebook will address this and provide a fair solution to resolve the matter.

I don't use Facebook often. I signed up about 2-3 years ago and a friend mentioned I could find a house on "Marketplace," but I can't access it from my laptop. How can I fix this and access Marketplace? My wife and I are searching for a rental home, and Marketplace was recommended. Can I only access it from a mobile device or can I also use a laptop?

I was browsing Facebook and Messenger on my accounts. I uninstalled the apps a few months ago due to excessive phone usage. Now, I am trying to log back in but facing issues. Despite entering my phone number and password, I can't access my account. Even after attempting to reset my password using my email addresses, I am not receiving any notifications. If someone could assist me in recovering my login information or email associated with the account, it would be greatly appreciated.

I placed an ad on Facebook after seeing the offer for a free $15 credit. Unfortunately, I was charged $50 instead of the promised $15. This situation is misleading, as I intended to use the credit to promote my son's baseball team fundraiser, but instead, it deducted money from my account. I have been attempting to reach out to address this error, as I should not be held accountable for charges exceeding the initial $15. I recently received a friend request on Facebook from Terry Zeller (terry.zeller1). When I clicked on his profile picture, all of my photos from my account, Rebecca DeMelo (rebecca.j.demelo), appeared on his account as if it were mine. These photos were on the page where you can change your profile picture. I attempted to change his picture, and the picture on my page changed. It seems like that profile is somehow linked to mine. I believe my account has been compromised. Please investigate his account, as it seems to be a fraudulent account. He has made it look like mine. His account indicates we have one mutual friend: Elizabeth Seither Canova. I have already changed my password on both Facebook and Messenger. Could you please shut down his page? Thank you.

I am regularly blocked from accessing my account, this time it was just for 3 days. I was informed that someone in Sunnyvale, CA attempted to access my account, but I confirmed it wasn't me. Despite selecting "YES," I was still prompted to change my password AGAIN. This recurring issue is frustrating as it happens every few weeks. I am tired of this situation and would like it to stop. No one besides me has a reason to access my Facebook page, as I don't lead a life that would interest anyone. Please provide me with a solution that I can easily follow.

We originally operated with one Facebook page in one city. Over time, as we expanded to other cities, we created separate pages for each location. After attempting to merge the pages without success, we have decided to revert to having individual pages for each city. However, we are facing difficulty splitting one particular page. The pages are Učilište Studium, Učilište Studium Osijek, Učilište Studium Vinkovci, Učilište Studium Županja, and Učilište Studium Valpovo. Notably, the Učilište Studium page used to be two separate pages, Učilište Studium Bjelovar and Učilište Studium Vukovar. We kindly request assistance with merging all pages or splitting the Učilište Studium page into Učilište Studium Bjelovar and Učilište Studium Vinkovci as before. Thank you for your help. Regards, IG

Hello, I want to report an incident that occurred yesterday involving a profile named "Brinique Bowman" on Facebook. The profile has already been removed, and I promptly blocked it after being "poked." The image on Brinique's profile was inappropriate, indicating potential criminal activity. This is not an isolated incident, as I have faced similar defamatory acts on social media platforms for nearly a decade. I refer to these actions in an upcoming article as "identity terrorism." Although I typically ignore such behavior, I am now reporting it to Facebook and considering legal action due to the nature of the content and my profession as a published author of political commentaries and satires. I have contacted Facebook and TripAdvisor in the past regarding a fake Facebook account created in my business’s name by an unknown individual and fake reviews on TripAdvisor intended to harm my business. Despite my attempts, the fake Facebook account and damaging reviews have not been removed, causing ongoing harm to my business reputation. This situation is unjust as I am being overlooked by these large corporations while my business suffers daily. The reviews include false information about my restaurant due to a personal matter involving my husband that is unrelated to my business. The restaurant is solely under my ownership, not my husband's, and the situation has caused our separation. I am seeking assistance to address these issues and reduce the significant stress I am currently facing. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I recently submitted my ID photo to Facebook and followed up with a picture containing a unique code next to my face. Subsequently, I received three emails claiming my email address was changed to an unfamiliar Outlook account without my consent. Despite receiving a passcode in one of the emails, there seems to be confusion as I provided all necessary verification. I am bewildered by the sudden change to an email address that is not mine and the implication of hacking. This situation is causing distress, especially as my contacts are being reached out to. Kindly block the email address [redacted], which seems to be associated with the unauthorized access. I urge for restrictions on any email correspondence from Outlook. Last month, I encountered an issue when trying to log into my Facebook account as I forgot my password and used the 'Forgot password' feature. Strangely, another unknown account appeared instead of mine, and I began receiving email notifications from this unfamiliar Facebook account. My initial attempt was to stop the notifications by clicking 'unsubscribe' in my Gmail account, but unfortunately, the page wasn't accessible, adding to the confusion. To investigate further, I logged into the unknown account linked to my Gmail, changed the password, and checked the account settings to find the email address associated with it. Despite my efforts, my email address was not listed, yet I continued to receive notifications from the unknown Facebook account. I want to clarify that I did not try to hack the account intentionally as I am unfamiliar with the owner. I only changed the password to gain access to review the settings and remove my email if it was listed. However, the email address was not there, leaving me puzzled about the continuous notifications. I seek assistance in resolving this issue for both myself and the owner of the unknown account.

I believe my account has been compromised. I have been dealing with this issue for two weeks now, suspecting that either my email or phone number was hacked. I've taken various security measures such as enhancing my privacy settings and enabling login alerts to safeguard my account. However, when I attempted to request my phone info from my account settings, it indicated that no device was found. I currently have two email addresses: [redacted] (which I suspect was hacked) and [redacted] I also have two phone numbers: [redacted] and [redacted] (excluding the 1- prefix on the second number). I tried checking my IP address through user login settings and found this: "black [redacted]" I urgently need access to my account as my husband, daughter, and I all have disabilities, including my husband's brain injury. Considering that my bank information was also compromised three weeks ago, I cannot risk further delays in resolving this issue. Thank you for your assistance. - Cynthia M.

I have been facing an ongoing issue with my business page on Facebook. Despite contacting them, the individual I spoke to did not seem to understand my concerns. The manager, James, provided generic responses that did not address the specific problem I am encountering. The issue is exclusively on the mobile platform. There is a section under the ratings and recommendations with icons for home, menus, offers, reviews, photos, and more. Clicking on the menu in this section directs users to a different business's menu. I am unable to modify or delete this section, only rearrange it. I have been unable to access my account for three days now. The email listed on my account is incorrect, showing as [redacted] instead of my correct email [redacted] Despite several attempts, I have not received a password reset SMS due to the incorrect email listed. I am having trouble adding my mobile phone number on Facebook. When I try to set up two-factor authentication, it keeps showing me as "Bob." The device has blocked notifications, and even after trying to allow them, it still doesn't work. Each time I enter the code, it says it's wrong. I have attempted this many times with no success. I urgently need assistance with resolving this issue. I have been trying to fix this for months and do not want to create a new Facebook account.

I am frustrated. I have been using Facebook for years, and out of nowhere, they have disabled my account because they don't approve of my name. Have they considered that some individuals may not want to be easily found or merge their professional and personal lives? There are serious issues of bullying, violence, and trolling happening on Facebook and even on Facebook Live, yet I am restricted from using it just because of a name. Why isn't more being done to address the harmful situations occurring on Facebook Live? My choice of name is a personal matter. Whether I decide to change it to something unconventional, it should not prevent me from accessing my account on Facebook.
