On the morning of August 28th, I received a notification stating that my post violated Community Standards related to child exploitation. When I tried to dispute this by selecting "continue," the loading wheel kept spinning. Later, I discovered an email showing a video was posted at 12:48 am on the same day. However, I was driving home from a wedding the previous evening where I was DJ'ing and performing with my band, therefore I did not make any posts during that time.
This situation is distressing as I did not post anything on August 27th or 28th. The accusation of child exploitation is deeply troubling to me as it goes against my values completely. I tried to verify my identity on the Facebook app by entering my phone number for a login code, but I couldn't find where to input the code after receiving it. Despite getting the SMS, the app displayed a "Failed to send SMS" message.
Subsequently, I discovered that I was hacked, resulting in unauthorized access to my social media accounts, bank information, credit cards, and even my phone's SIM card. I have reported this incident to the authorities with case number 22-[redacted].
As social media is crucial for my business activities, being locked out is impacting me severely. I created a new account for promotional purposes but was questioned about my disabled account, jeopardizing my access. I have contacted various Facebook support emails and received a response. I managed to input my phone number again, only to be informed that my account has been disabled permanently.
Given that I am innocent of the alleged violation and now facing a ban from all platforms, I am reaching out for help. Hi there,
I want to bring to your attention that 11 days ago, I received two emails to different accounts containing Facebook password recovery codes and change password links which I did not request. Shortly after, my account was disabled for allegedly violating community standards regarding inappropriate content. This was shocking and concerning.
Subsequently, my Instagram accounts were also disabled, and despite my repeated appeals and attempts to contact support, no resolution has been reached due to a lack of workers as a result of the pandemic. I created a new Facebook account to reach out to support, but it was also disabled, complicating the situation further.
I was asked to submit my ID for verification, but the discrepancy in the name used on my old account and the one I am transitioning to has caused a delay. Despite speaking to multiple Facebook representatives who added information to my appeal file, progress has been stagnant.
I have tried contacting [redacted] and [redacted] with no success, and even my attempts to create new accounts have failed. My latest Instagram account for work purposes was disabled after a short period without a valid reason given, adding to the frustration.
