The hacker changed her email, name to Nelson Flanagan, and phone number to [redacted], making it impossible for her to access her account. This false information is not related to my mother.

Hello, my name is Becky Quinn. My account was hacked in January towards the end of that month. The hackers removed my original email, [redacted], and added a new one, [redacted] They changed where codes are sent from my phone to the new email address. I am struggling to reclaim my account, and seeking assistance in getting the reset codes sent back to my phone. I reached out to the help center but received a message saying they couldn't help me. I had to create a new account to stay connected on Facebook. Unfortunately, when I called a support number, they asked for a large sum of money for security software which I cannot afford. I have a disability and rely on a fixed income. I deactivated one of my accounts to prevent it from being hacked as well. I am disappointed in the lack of support from Facebook and suggest implementing fingerprint logins for added security. I provided a video holding my State ID for verification on my new account, Rebecca Quinn. I hope Facebook can assist me in securing my Becky Quinn account by sending reset codes to my phone again at [redacted]. Thank you.

I received a notification about needing double authentication for added security on my account by March 17. I completed the process two weeks in advance, but on the deadline day, they locked me out claiming I hadn't set it up. I tried to set it up again, opting for the text code method, but the texts never arrived. I then tried the Authentication App on the same device, but after entering the code, it said I needed internet connection, which I had. When trying on a trusted computer, I was unable to log in despite using the correct password. I can't even access Facebook or Messenger for assistance, which is affecting my business as my accounts are linked. It's frustrating as the issue seems to be on their end, not mine. I have screenshots of the problem if needed. This isn't a Facebook restriction; it's a new feature causing trouble that my friend didn't encounter.

I received a notice stating that I needed to set up double authentication to secure my account by March 17th. I completed the setup process two weeks beforehand. On March 17th, my account got locked, claiming I hadn't completed the setup. When I tried setting it up again, I faced numerous issues. I attempted to receive the code via text as per the instructions but never received the texts. Switching to the Authentication App method, I followed the steps, but even though I was connected to the internet, it claimed I wasn't. I logged in from my familiar computer linked to Facebook, and it kept saying the password was incorrect, though it wasn't. When I got it to work once, the system reported an issue their end and asked me to try again later. This issue with Facebook Protect is impacting my business account connected to my personal one, causing me to lose customers and money. I'm unable to expand my business due to this mandatory security measure. I seek assistance urgently.

Good afternoon.
Yesterday at 3:26 AM (Central Time), I received an email from Facebook stating that my account was disabled, giving me 30 days to request a review. Starting at 7:45 AM (CT), I attempted to recover my account, but the only option available was to send a confirmation code to my phone. Despite receiving the codes via SMS at 7:45, 7:50, 7:51, and 7:57, Facebook repeatedly failed to process them. Even after receiving the codes, I couldn't progress as the platform claimed it was unable to send them. The system displayed a "Too Many SMS codes" message and instructed me to wait 24 hours for another attempt. It has now been 32 hours with no further communication.
Additionally, yesterday, I successfully used an Instagram code at 7:47, only to discover this morning that the issue has been intertwined with the Facebook problem. Both platforms have left me confused and frustrated, as I am uncertain whether my accounts were hacked or mistakenly reported due to sharing a surname with a current Brazilian politician. The situation has led to unwarranted harassment on Instagram, adding to my distress.
I need urgent assistance as my attempts to resolve this issue over the past two days have been futile.
