Hello,
I have encountered a persistent issue with the Facebook interface ever since the new design was released with features like dark mode around [redacted] or [redacted]. Despite reporting this 'bug' to Facebook twice in [redacted] and once in [redacted], there has been no resolution so far.
The problem is that I cannot see who is currently active even though my active status is enabled. This issue persists on both the browser and the mobile application. I have tried various troubleshooting steps such as restarting my phone, logging out and back in, clearing cache and data, logging in on different devices, using different IP addresses, and resetting my Facebook settings to default.
Although my friends confirm that their active status is visible to others, it appears that this issue only affects my account or specific accounts. As a temporary measure, I have added contacts to the "Turn off active status for all contacts except..." list, but I am seeking a permanent solution from Facebook.
I remain hopeful that this 'bug' will be addressed soon. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, my name is Kenneth E. C. and a while back, my Facebook account got hacked several months ago. Since then, I've been without Facebook. I'm an elderly person and all I want is to retrieve my pictures and friends. Unfortunately, the hacker put an authenticator on my account, preventing me from accessing it. Despite some assistance from Facebook, the authenticator was not removed, and I've been unable to log in. I've provided my driver's license as proof and am willing to do so again. My friend recently fell victim to a scam on Facebook. She was contacted by someone claiming to be a friend who needed a code to access their account. Unfortunately, my friend provided the code, resulting in her own account being deleted. In December [redacted], my Facebook account was hacked, and I received an alert via email from FB. I managed to regain access by changing my password and email back to the primary one. After this, FB restricted my account, preventing me from posting for 72 hours. During this time, I discovered unauthorized charges on my credit card for FB ads. I reported this as fraud to FB, providing evidence from my credit card statements. FB then fully restricted my account, blocking access to both my personal and business pages. Despite following the verification protocols and submitting my ID as requested, FB informed me they had 30 days to review my account, but they did not do so. After a few days past the review period, I found my account disabled, including my business page. Despite my attempts to seek help through the portal, I was unable to submit an appeal. FB never addressed the fraudulent charges made by the hacker. In frustration, I tried to create a new account, which was successful briefly before also being disabled. I feel unfairly punished and banned by FB for their failure to address my disputes and verification process, resulting in the loss of the following I had diligently built for my business.

I recently received an email asking if I changed my password on Wednesday, which I did not. Worried about a possible hack, I changed my password. However, Facebook has locked me out despite verifying my email [redacted] I attempted to regain access by changing my password, but I remain locked out. I am frustrated and upset by this ordeal, especially since I believe providing my photo ID is unnecessary. My friends have not encountered such requirements during similar situations. Being unfairly locked out of my own account is distressing. I urge Facebook to unlock my account promptly as I rely on it daily and need it for communication. Hackers must stop targeting innocent users who use the platform honestly. Please resolve this issue swiftly so I can access my account again.

Recently, I purchased a new phone and now I can't access my Facebook account because I need an authentication code, but all my other devices were logged out and now require two-factor authentication. My Facebook account has been disabled because they say I posted something against their community standards. I haven't posted anything inappropriate on Facebook or any other social media platform. I haven't even uploaded a photo to my account in the last 1-2 years. When I try to log in, they ask for verification but I can't input the code sent to my registered mobile number. Facebook claims they can't send the code, even though I receive it when I press the "send code" button. I can't access my account, request a review, or get help from the Facebook community. My Facebook account got locked after I mistakenly clicked on the 'secure your account' link in an email from Facebook. It turned out to be due to somebody trying to change my password without my knowledge. I provided my ID as requested but didn't realize a special code was sent to me for login instead of a password. I accidentally changed my password again before using the code, which didn't work. I searched for a way to contact Facebook support but found no suitable email address. Despite sending my ID again, no response has been received. I'm stuck in a loop on the help pages and unable to regain access to my account.

My Facebook account under "Joe Dalfonzo" has been hijacked by a criminal who is trying to scam my friends. They are posing as me and asking for Amazon gift card purchases for my supposed niece. In October [redacted], my account got hacked, and friend requests were sent to some of my friends. Despite changing my password, I couldn't log in the next day. The email address I used for registration is no longer active. I tried to use my current email address for recovery, but it's only for that purpose. On January 25, [redacted] at 1:45 am, I encountered an issue with my Facebook account when I clicked on Messenger. A pop-up message appeared, stating that my session had expired, and I was logged out. When attempting to log back in on Facebook, I discovered that my password had been changed.
